Cannot say enough positive things, WILL NEVER GO ANYWHERE ELSE. being a single woman we tend to get taken advantage of when it comes to auto repair. Gambinos was great , never overcharged or had unnecessary work. Was getting treated like garbage at V.W. n was spending hundreds and would never stay fixed for long. Long story short headlight Mr. Gambino just replaced fell out . He replaced with brand new one n came up with a way to keep it from coming out again free of charge

Excellent small shop with a very rare passion for repairing cars. They are always upfront and gladly explain what they believe is happening and what it will take to repair the car. I have had both a front axle (worn C/V joint boot) and transmission fluid replaced on my Volkswagen Jetta and each time they called after diagnostics but before starting the work to verify the cost for the work they planned was acceptable. Their prices are excellent and you get the sense they charge you for what they do and not a cent more. As a bonus, they are located near my office in Elmwood so I can just drop the car off and walk to work.

Horrible service waist of time and money after paying for a tow service to this place one of the service guys two days later said my Mercedes truck needed a motor because it was locked and that I didn't have oil in it well after picking it up I bought it to another mechanic long story short it was a wire causing the battery to go dead all I needed was a wire fixed and new battery omg thank god for second opinions I would of paid for a whole motor and didn't even need one

Fantastic half as much as the dealership and easily the cheapest any the New Orleans metro area (I called over 15 places) to put in a new water pump in my 2002 Jag x-type. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Will only go there from here on out if you have a foreign luxury car call him first.

I got a 2013 ranger rover that had a misfire cylinder 5 , they sure found the problem and within 2 days they called me told me it’s ready to ride it was the fuel injector and spark plug that needed to be replaced ..sure recommend them ,there honest and responsible in price ..

They did a fantastic job on my wife's 2013 Range Rover Sport...job was less than half of what Land Rover on Vets wanted to charge to replace fuel injectors and spark plugs. Go here instead of the dealer if you're out of warranty, you'll save big and get high quality and reliable workmanship on your car.

This is my second experience with Kevin at Gambino's. The first experience I called another shop first and they quoted me a ridiculously high amount. Kevin was recommended to me and he was honest and came in much lower for the same work and had the vehicle back to me the same day. The second experience I was expecting some major work needed do to a bad steering wheel wobble. Kevin evaluated the entire front end and instead of up selling me on parts he was honest with me that my rim was bent and balanced my rims to fix the problem. This is a very honest shop that does good work!!!!

Land Rovers/Range Rovers have a reputation for being unreliable and difficult to fix, but I thought Gambino's would be able to handle the challenge since they have years of experience working on foreign cars. I brought my 2012 Land Rover in for a coolant leak and oil change. After about two weeks my car killed while my daughter and I were driving down Veterans. After bringing it to another mechanic, it was observed that the coolant line was not replaced and my oil had drained out. Unfortunately, I needed a new engine at that point.

I’ve spent almost $7500+ getting my 2011 Range Rover repaired and everything they touched now needs to be replaced/repaired by Land Rover. Truly a waste of my time and money. The only reason we decided to get it repaired here was because LR doesn’t usually work on cars 10+ years old and it was super close to my job. Mike, had my car for nearly 6 weeks. Had the coolant system replaced, oil leak repaired and alternator replaced. Guess what? In less than a year, all of that work has to be repeated. $10k needed now. Please stay away. Beg and plead with the dealer for repairs. This place will only make problems worse. I’m devastated that I have to sell this car.
