This was my second experience here at Garage Slick, and I couldn’t be happier… in both instances, I had windows tinted. Steve is obviously very well-versed in his work, but furthermore is the type that keeps up on the latest technologies and remains interested in current offerings. He is well informed, but doesn’t pretend to know things he doesn’t. This makes asking his recommendation very valuable, as you can actually trust his feedback and experience. My first tint job from Steve is still flawless (and that was installed about a year ago). In fact, I remember after installing one of the windows, he immediately pulled the tint off and redid it. I asked why, and he said he wasn’t happy that the tint edge to glass edge wasn’t exactly the same as the opposite side window. We’re talking like a millimeter or so… Now, I’m a rather meticulous guy myself and it was so close that even I found it hard to notice… but Steve’s mindset was, “this can be better”… and so he redid it. Talk about genuinely caring about the quality you put out. On this more recent job, I asked him to match my front windows to the rears (which were tinted by a previous owner). He found a nice match, offered some options, and went for it. I couldn’t be happier. He and his team member Brian tackled the work on time and had it done quickly while I waited. Mind you, I had made an appointment about a week prior. I don’t think walk-ins would be able to get work done same day, as these guys are always very busy… So call ahead, or stop by! I’ve seen this shops paint protection film work as well on other customer cars, and knowing a little about the wrap industry, I can say they are true professionals with their technique. Many shops will cut corners (literally) or stretch film to the point that it will eventually fail… but the work I’ve seen from Garage Slick looks high quality and uncompromised. It’s the type of work that will last. So if you’ve got a new car you’re looking to paint protect or tint, give Steve and his team a call and get setup with a shop that you can trust to look out for your ride just as well as you do!

Steve did great work for my window tint. He told me I had to clean my car out so the tint would stick properly. He didn't want to charge me for film that was going to fail. Professionally, he rescheduled me after the car was clean. And now it's great! Just make sure to have your car detailed, at least clean when taken here. Even if it's vinyl on the outside. It will make it easier for both you and him. :)

First off, Steve and Corey are 2 good guys and absolutely professionals. Just got my new Tuscons front windows tinted. Came out beautiful. Steve and I conversed before my appt, and talked price. Very transparent and upfront about it which was super nice! I took my car in at 9 am and it was done by 1pm. I’ve had it for about two weeks and it still looks brand new. No bubbles, nothing wrong with it whatsoever. I definitely felt that they cared for my car as if it were their own. You definitely get what you pay for here and it is well worth the money!

So I was in search of installing some PPF on my 2018 Honda Civic Type R, and after inquiring in three different shops, i decided to go with Garage Slick. Steve gave me the best price I could find for wrapping the hood, front bumper and partial fenders on my vehicle. What made me lean more to his shop, was the attention to detail he pays on the vehicles he works on. Prior to me purchasing the ppf, he showed me some of the vehicles he had wrapped and I was very impressed with his work. He’s very meticulous on making sure every edge and every corner gets lined up perfectly. Which carried over to my vehicle. He kept me updated through the process by calling and letting me know the status of my vehicle throughout the installation. Upon picking my vehicle up, I have to say I was pretty blown away after seeing the end results. Steve did a phenomenal job! The ppf is hardly visible! Which is great and the fact that it helps against rock chips, I won’t have to worry about getting anymore on these rocky Idaho roads. To anyone in search of getting any type of paint protection film installed on their vehicles. I definitely recommend Steve. He will not dissapoint you!

I live in Reno and bought my 4Runner in Boise. Not being familiar with the area, I researched different shops to do my PPF and window tint before driving my new car back to Reno. Steve (Garage Slick) had the best reviews and after our first conversation I knew I was going to have him do the work. He’s patient, honest, fair and an all around stand up guy. All questions were answered, he’s quick to return calls and messages, and gives updates on the progress of the car so you aren’t left guessing. He worked with me on my vision for the 4Runner and was understanding as I made changes. In the end, it came out even better than I had hoped.
