They were willing to work on car that no other shop would. Worked with me to get the alignment correct to my specifications and used parts I provided. Great work and great service all around.

Gearheads provided timely feedback on the diagnosis of my car and was very easy to work with! They are not pushy like other shops and dealerships and are very transparent when suggesting additional service. The price was very reasonable for the area. This is my new go-to shop for my car and will definitely return for any future work needed for my car. Give this shop a try, they are very reasonable to work with and customer focused!

Going to them for a few years now with 5 different cars. They are expensive but I thought they do a good job and they are honest. Ever since they moved, the prices went up as much as the dealership and they quality of work dropped. We had to go back a few times to correct things they repaired and the car would stay in for days in their shop without communication on why the delay. The last car I got there was my daughter’s for a light that was coming on and a couple other things. The price I was quoted was about the value of the car but since I had just put new tires on it I decided to fix it. A couple of days later, we had to take back again with the same problem and they said they had to replace another part and of course I had to pay more. If I knew the total from the beginning, I wouldn’t fix it. Your miss diagnostics cost me another $500. Anyway, the second time my daughter drove the car after we got it back, it stalled in the middle of the street and had to be towed back to them! Two days later they finally decided to call and say this time is the transmission and it will cost another $7200 to fix! Ridiculous! I got it towed to another mechanic and they fixed it for $2600! The car is up and running for weeks now. Do your self a favor and go to someone that knows what he’s doing and appreciate your hard-earned money. They won’t see another penny from me.

Customer Service like "back in the day". Nick is a very friendly guy and he did beautiful work on my Corvette C8 installing a new exhaust system. Dropped the car off in the morning, received a text in the afternoon, and picked the car up later that day. Highly Recommend!

Exceptional Service with a Personal Touch! I recently brought my vehicle to Gearheads Auto Service in Cuyahoga Falls, OH for routine maintenance—oil change, filter replacement, and tire rotation—but also needed a transmission fluid replacement. As always, the team went above and beyond. Scheduling was effortless, and they even offer a convenient after-hours drop box so I could leave my key fob the night before—no need to rush over early in the morning. Once service was complete, I received a secure payment link via text, which is a game-changer for anyone needing to pay remotely. A helpful tip: make sure to enter your billing address exactly as it appears on your credit or debit card statement, including full ZIP+4 format (e.g., 12345-6789). Once I did that, my payment processed without a hitch. After payment, they texted me a secure code so I could pick up my key fob from their lockbox at my convenience. The whole process was seamless, efficient, and thoughtfully designed with the customer in mind. Gearheads isn't just about great automotive work (though they absolutely deliver on that)—what truly sets them apart is their genuine warmth, honesty, and family-like hospitality. Every interaction feels like you’re being cared for by a trusted relative. Add in transparent pricing, quick turnaround times, and top-notch customer service, and you’ve got a rare gem in the auto care world. Highly recommend Gearheads to anyone looking for reliable, respectful, and trustworthy auto service!

The reason I initially went to GEARHEADS is because they are the only source of AMSOIL products in my area, which I use exclusively in my vehicles. I have a 2013 Camaro which is my baby and I had researched the car intensively - mechanical specs and known issues etc. So when I went in for an oil change, I asked them a bunch of questions specific to my Camaro (that I already knew the answers to) and they were spot on with everything. I was impressed. They always just get to it and get the job done...correctly...the first time. When I bring my car in for service. I've never paid more than their work estimates and have often paid less. Nick and Eric are always open and honest, I was there when a lady came in for a second opinion on her brakes after a dealership told her they were shot and she needed everything replaced and I heard Nick tell her that she still had over 80% of her pads left on the brakes and they were in great shape and they would not recommend her getting the service because she didn't need anything done...they could have really ripped her off, she knew nothing about cars. How often do you hear of a shop doing that? I am very peculiar about who touches my car, but I wouldn't hesitate to recommend GearHeads to anyone ... they've done me right too many times.

I took my vehicle into Gearheads to have the outer tie rods replaced. I dropped it off in the morning and left my keys in the envelope and drop box as I start work before they opened. I picked it up after work, and there was no conversation other than the cost at that time. I paid my bill and took it straight to have it aligned, where I have paid for lifetime alignments on my vehicle, and was told that an alignment could not be done because a random piece of pipe had been put on the tie rod as a makeshift jam nut. I called Gearheads while with the mechanic doing the alignment, and gearheads told us that they didn’t have any problems, and the mechanic doing the alignment must not have good enough tools do the job - no concern for me, my car, or the problem. Without the alignment, my car was not drivable as I had just got new tires and was not taking a chance to wear my tires out unevenly without the alignment. Gearheads told me they were closing, that they couldn’t talk any longer, and that if I called back I would get an answering service. There was absolutely no offer to find a solution and definitely no admittance to putting some strange pipe on my car rather than an actual jam nut. I was left to scramble to find a mechanic to replace the random pipe “jam nut” on a Friday night and then still get it aligned. I have regular maintenance done on my car including tire rotations and alignments, so the makeshift jam nut was noticed immediately once gearheads stuck it on without telling me. I called and left several messages as it’s near impossible to get someone on the phone. I received one phone call back but was at work. I have called since and left messages and never received any further communication. I intentionally waited several weeks to give them time to make it right as I know they’re busy, and it’s the holiday season, but that hasn’t happened. Take your vehicle to mechanics with transparency and integrity, which isn’t gearheads. Photos include the random piece on my tie rod and several once it was taken off.

Less than zero percent chance I will ever return! I stopped in needing some exhaust work done. I simply asked for an estimate from the catalytic converter back. The man at the desk tells me all cars are on racks right now and that he has no openings until Tuesday. I asked if I could at least get a rough price. He seemed completely uninterested in helping. He said someone needs to look at it. The car with what the issue was and the parts needed replace a price could have been provided. I would have scheduled the work on the spot if he had. Instead, when I asked again for a general idea, he says 500, 600, 700, 800. Can you be any less helpful or more condescending? Awful experience and will never return, there’s a lot of competition out there, so I found a place that had a good attitude and seemed much more reasonable on price. Front desk guy was not helpful or even friendly. Update: yes, if a business treats me poorly I’ll review it, that’s the point. Take some responsibility for your poor service.

These guys are terrible. I brought them a, pretty much, undriveable 1978 corvette that I had recently bought. I dropped it off and after having if for a little over a week, they had the knowage and skills to find suspension problems that another shop had missed. The other shop charged me for an alignment, that could not have been done due to bad front bearings, bad ball joints, bad rearend bearings, and a trailing arm that was ceased up. They tuned the motor to be an absolute pleasure to drive. Along with this, they installed headers and side pipes. The reason I say they are terrible, is that they made this car a dream to drive, right at the end of the driving season. We have been dealing with Nick and Eric for over 15yrs. With our classic cars and everyday drivers. Even after moving 30 minutes away, we still take our vehicles to them. Thank you Nick, for doing what you do. Which is absolute fantastic service and customer relations.

The Ford dealer messed up when ordering my new truck and it came without the door keypad I wanted. They added the keypad after delivery but couldn’t program it to work. After talking to Nick he said he thought he could do it. He was right! I switched from Chevy to Ford specifically to have a keypad. Thanks to Gearheads I now have the truck the way I ordered it. Thank you!
