I made an appointment 3 weeks before I brought it in 9/3 because my map display was going off and on. Turns out they had nobody to look at it on 9/3 so they said they would get it in the next day. I called service about 12:30 on 9/4 and was told they were working on it and would let me know the progress around 2:00. Hearing nothing, I called service around 4:30 and was told my car was next. So when they told me they were already working on it, that wasn’t true. Wasn’t very happy at that point. Then on Friday 9/5, they finally had it finished.

What followed was a deeply disappointing journey marked by mechanical failure, negligent service, and a troubling lack of accountability. 🔧 Major Defect: The air conditioning system failed under warranty, revealing a melted multi-fuse and requiring a full wiring harness replacement—a repair so invasive it involved removing the engine and interior. 🚗 Service Access Issues: Genesis offered no towing, no loaner vehicle, and expected me to drive nearly 500 miles to the nearest certified technician. This is not reasonable access to warranty service—it’s abandonment. 🛠️ Dealership Negligence: After three weeks in the shop, my vehicle was returned with undercarriage bolts missing, causing further damage and safety risks. A subsequent sunroof malfunction suggests the electrical issues were never fully resolved. 📉 Customer Support Response: Genesis denied my buyback claim under New Mexico’s Lemon Law despite clear statutory eligibility. Their offer? $457.70—purportedly equivalent to a single car payment. I paid cash. Bought a CPO vehicle & discovered it had an oil leak, an open recall, tires were out of balance & the steering wheel groaned when turned. Took it in for service. I was told everything was fixed. Discovered it was still leaking oil. Left a voicemail for the service manager who never responded. Spoke to the service advisor again & sent a picture showing the oil leak. He said the first time they had it, they didn’t see it leaking & didn’t do anything to fix it. After seeing the photo they performed an oil change & fixed the issue. Completely disappointed that they sold the vehicle in this condition & ignored what I said without a picture proving it.

The service center was great. I dropped my car off while my daughter in law gave birth to our first granddaughter! Professional and fast and in fact so good I considered Genesis of Littleton for a used car purchase. We live in Colorado Springs so you can imagine the drive (about an hour). We found a great option for our son, my wife scheduled an appointment, confirmed the appointment via an email signed by the sales manager, and even brought up our new granddaughter for the test drive. When we arrived - the car didn’t exist. I assume “bait and switch” but who knows. To make matters worse, the management team didn’t even gave the courtesy (or courage) to come out of their office. They sent out a poor salesman to deliver the news. I confronted the managers briefly - both sales and GM sitting in their office, most likely trying to figure how to boost business and explain why numbers are down to ownership. No follow up, no concessions, and all of the goodwill and work from the service department down the drain. So in your next high pressure sales meeting, I’d take a look in the mirror for your failures. Won’t be back unfortunately. Opportunity (and I assume revenue) wasted.
