What a great shop! Although my car was totalled by the insurance, the days leading up to it were great. The staff is friendly and very informative. Text and website keep all work tracking so no question as to what is going on. Christopher was wonderful, he was going to clean up the pop that spilled in our wreck which interior mess was not something I thought would be done. This morning as I cleaned out the car, he removed the license plate for me and was very sympatheticto our situation. I will use them for all my future needs for sure!

I brought my '08 Camry here because a part under the front bumper had partially torn loose and was dragging on the ground. The staff were pleasant and friendly. Annette looked at my car and gave me a quote. She told me the part was called the under cover (good to know) and that both the left and right sides needed to be replaced, to the tune of $267. Okay, fine. I went to schedule with the front desk and was told they would need to keep my car for up to two days. Why? I asked. I need my car to get to work. They said they wouldn't know exactly what was required till they started working on it, and it would also depend on how many other cars they were working on at the time. I don't know a lot about cars, but this didn't seem like a complicated repair to me, and I didn't see why my car should be sitting in the shop waiting for other people's repairs while I could be driving it instead. I left without making an appointment. Today I called my local body shop. They got me right in, took 10 minutes to refasten my under cover with zip ties, and charged me $10. Sure, it's not as pristine as all-new parts, but all I care about is that it's not dragging on the ground anymore. Collision Works went straight to the most expensive option without telling me there were other possibilities. If you go there, I recommend getting a second opinion.

If you need any body work done I highly recommend them! They did amazing on my car and it looks brand new! And it didnt take long at all. Took my GMC Terrain in after a fender bender to get the bumper replaced. The quote I was given was lower than any of the others I got. I went to 4 separate places for quotes before collision works. The team there was astounding. So friendly and nice. Their receptionist is hilarious and such a sweet lady. The got my car in and kept me up to date the whole time they had it about the parts they had to order and how long it was going to take. They said with ordering parts it would be about 3 days and they had it back to me within 2. You can’t even tell I was in an accident the work was so good and the team was so efficient and nice. I’ll definitely be back if I ever need work done on my car in the future! 10/10

I WOULD NOT USE THIS SHOP FOR REPAIRS!!! The staff were professional and helpful. The quality of the work was not satisfactory. I rejected the work the first time. The car was returned dirty so the paint could not be inspected properly. There was dust in the paint, fish eyes in the paint, scuff marks in door jamb. The inner fender was never painted, was still covered in primer. The rear bumper cover did not have the same shine as the paint. When I went back to pick up the vehicle there was a paint run on the inside door jamb, scratches in clear coat, and scuffs on the rocker panel. Poor panel fitment.

I can't even begin to tell you just how terrible my experience with Gerber Collison has been. I'll buy a new car before I would ever use this company again. There is no accountability and less than 0 communication. There are far better body shops/collision repair places. I highly recommend using any of them instead of this place. If you want your life to become even more difficult, use this company.

We have had the absolute worst experience here. PLEASE save yourself and go to a different auto shop around the area- there are tons. Regardless of where your insurance might tell you to go, the choice is actually yours. They will keep your car claiming they are “estimating the damages” and then charge you $170 pick up fee when absolutely no work whatsoever had been done. I spoke to multiple people, Cheryl, Erica, and another male who did not provide his name. I was told something different by all three of them in one day. TERRIBLE, non existent communication and will attempt to scam you in every way.

Took my car here back in July when someone else backed into my car. Great experience. Editing my review after I had my car in a second time when a deer ran into the side of my car. They told me it would probably be about 2-3 weeks. The estimate was above a threshold, so they alledgedly sent whatever document to my insurance for further review. 2 weeks go by and I got a call from Gerber that they were still waiting on my insurance to respond. My insurance and myself were under the impression that repairs had been started 2 weeks ago. I call my insurance, and they have no idea what I'm talking about. My car was at Gerber for at least 5 weeks total. They told me a couple of times when they anticipated it to be done, and it still took longer. Mind you, I've been paying out of pocket for a rental car this whole time to get to and from work. They gave me back my car, finally, and it was completely out of gas. I know there was at least a quarter of a tank when it was brought in. This experience was not okay, and now I'm stuck with a $1300 enterprise payment due to Gerber's lack of communication or consideration for my time and money. 😡 I will not be back if I ever need body work done again.

The teams was absolutely fabulous, got my estimate finished in less than an hour and submitted it to the other driver's insurance hastily. Made the entire half of this wreck experience smooth and simple. Especially when getting into an accident is already traumatic as is, Gerber really exceeds in their work. Highly recommend their body specialists too, they smooth out dents like the frame was made of butter.

I brought my GMC 3500HD here to be worked on after a simi truck ran us off the road, this was an option through Progressive our insurance. They informed me that they "did not do mechanical repairs" when we dropped the truck off. After speaking with the receptionist I was then informed they did "some mechanical repairs". Ok then that's strange especially if you call yourself a collision repair shop? Over the next week I would be told one thing by the receptionist then later when I would call it would be the complete opposite of what I was first told, she was working off of the mechanics notes so I assumed she must have misunderstood and continued anyway. The following week I hear no updates so I call on Friday, I ask how everything's going, the receptionist responds with "oh your trucks not here". I was not informed they had to move my vehicle to Missouri and it was left at a GMC dealership to have the alignment done. Ok I understand but still no one contacted me to inform me it was being moved. Then my vehicle was marked as ready for pickup, I called to ask if the suspension had been checked since we had pictures that it was damaged. It had not been checked and I was informed by the mechanic to send him the pictures even though the vehicle was still on his lot. He then explains to my husband that based off of Google only the right leaf springs were damaged and not the left. Upon hearing that Google was the deciding factor I got my truck out of there. I took my truck to my mechanic friend with Progressive's approval they found both leaf springs were destroyed and had to be rebuilt and so was the rear differential. But to the people at Gerber that means it's a safe and "fixed" truck. I understand working on a truck of that size is a big undertaking, but that was never mentioned to me as being a problem. DO NOT take your large trucks here. They also charged my insurance 3k for basically some paint, an air reflector, and some small parts for my cab. They did a shitty job painting as well and left tape and obvious paint lines. Basically this place is a scam. Edit: Gerber has responded to my message that the GM has tried to call me "multiple" times but I have yet to receive ANY form of attempt in communication. I would love to share the pictures of the shitty work done and invoice from our mechanic, but that will only happen if they ever ACTUALLY contact me. They also have all of my current info if they want to contact me.

HUGE WASTE OF TIME. Im forced to go here with my insurance but might as well just pay extra to go somewhere else. i took my car here in FEBRUARY and it was finally finished in the middle of APRIL. a job that should’ve only taken 2 weeks. i had to take it back 4 times for them to fix the same problem. one of their own salesman said that their techs' eyes are "bad" (meaning that's why my problem wasn't resolved the first time) so fair warning if you choose to trust these people with your car, even their own employees talk down on the work/business. more than half the time they don't even answer the phone or get back to you when they say. they did not apologize for anything throughout this entire process either and the manager is always conveniently "out of the office" to really get anything done or come to any sort of resolution. none of the employees are on the same page so you get stuck in a multiple day-long run around just to get any simple answer. on top of that they stole the 17 cents i had in my cup holder. finally when i picked up my car, a salesman talked more about what's going on in her personal life than my car and the work done. cool to hear you’re a taurus but what does that have to do with me and my car? do better.

I cracked my bumper and decided to get a quote from 3 body shops in the Lenexa area. Gerber was able to get me in the same day for a quote, schedule me in next week and was finished with my car a day earlier than expected. I chose Gerber, not because it was the cheapest. I chose them because I felt Erica, whom I worked with on gathering a quote, listened to me and worked up a quote based on what I wanted. I felt she was honest and she understood how I felt about the situation. I’ve worked with a few body shops before over the years and I can say Gerber was the most communicative and efficient. Hopefully I’m not a returning customer but if I had to be… I’d go to Gerber in Lenexa. (And I’d ask for Erica) 👍

Gerber Collision was A+. The moment I came by for an estimate to the moment the repairs were finished, I was updated and communication was excellent among all staff. I had a carbon fiber piece that was attached to the damaged portion of the vehicle and they were able to match it completely. Also, the rear window needed to be replaced and they were fully able to match the tint that was on prior to the accident. I am so happy with my experience here. My car got broken into a couple of weeks ago and this the place my insurance referred us to. The person who broke in shattered by rear right window, and also tried stealing my car by completely dismembering my push start and the plastic surrounding it making it not able to drive. They gave updates as soon as they knew and worked with us so well. Even the most minor cosmetic repairs were done, like completely replacing the leather on my back seats because of the glass tearing it up. When I got there to pick up my key they took me out there and explained what they did and gave me suggestions so hopefully this doesn’t happen again in the future. I am so happy with the results I could cry😭 it was a hard couple of weeks having to figure everything out, but they did it way faster than the estimated turn around time and I am so happy and thankful. They really went above and beyond and I know where to go in case something ever happens again. Thank you!

Instead of writing a bad review for the shop that did a poor job repairing my car twice I'm going to leave a good review for the shop that fixed it. I was concerned that I was not going to be able to get a quality repair on my car after the previous experience. Corey got everything squared away and had it back to me in a week and all of the things I was concerned about were fixed correctly. They did a really nice job and in the time frame that they said they would.
