I met the owner Chuck at a kids function and so I got a great vibe from him. So I scheduled an oil change and a tire rotation. The total cost was only $122 plus he replaced my old lug nuts with new lug nuts. They also cleaned my headlights as complimentary. I 110% RECOMMEND this place! Great customer service as well as GREAT WORK!!! A job well done!!!! A++++++++++

We were having issues with rough idling and the A/C in our hybrid, and every shop we called turned us away because they don’t work on hybrids—except Lenexa Automotive. They not only accepted our vehicle, but also allowed us to drop it off after hours, which worked perfectly for my wife and me. After we dropped it off, they ran thorough diagnostics and even provided a detailed report with pictures showing problem areas we hadn’t been aware of. They also included individual quotes for each recommended repair, which we really appreciated. We ended up getting the A/C fixed, new front brake pads and rotors, a new engine air filter, and an oil change. After the work was done, the car ran super smooth, and we’re both really happy with the quality of their service. The only downside was the turnaround time—it took from Thursday until the following Tuesday to get our car back. They did let us know upfront that they were busy, so we weren’t too bothered, but it’s worth noting in case you need same-day or next-day service. Overall, if you’re looking for a trustworthy, transparent shop and don’t mind waiting a bit, I highly recommend giving Lenexa Automotive a try.

Edit: I just received a personal call from Chuck apologizing for the lack of communication and delay getting my car. It takes a lot of courage to make that phone call, but it also goes a very, very long way. Like I said originally, the work they did was fantastic. I did change my rating. I think it’s important for reviews to be helpful to others. Chuck, I know that call was not easy. I appreciate you. Great work but completely over extends abilities to complete work in a timely fashion. It’s fine if you’re unable to take my business but don’t over promise and under deliver. Lack of sense of urgency when you’ve had my car for a week and then continue make excuses when I was completely upfront about having to leave town on a specific day and now I’m left being late 7 hours. Staff said they understood and could complete within the week. Unacceptable and do not recommend.

I’m just really impressed with the service and the people. Everything asked for was completed and is working wonderfully. I use to be a big user of Corvette Village but your pricing beats theirs hands down plus the results are better. I’m telling everyone I know about you and how great your business is. I had an issue with something they repaired and they immediately got it fixed snd st no charge. I see this as excellent service by a expand just plain great people.

Choosing Lenexa Automotive was based not only on the good reviews I read but a gut feeling that this is where I should take my car when it completely “died”. From the moment I made the phone call to inquire & make the appointment, I was confident that this shop was the right shop for me. And I was right! The staff were genuinely accommodating, pleasant & informative. I was informed of the cost of what needs to be done before repair was started & updated on its status. To top it all, when I was unable to complete a Lyft request, Shane was quick to reassure me that that he’ll try to find someone that could take me home. And so Chuck was my “ blessed Uber” to meet my need for a ride. The repair of my car was completed in a timely manner. My experience at Lenexa Automative was a great mixture of professionalism, genuine care & concern & gratitude! I wholeheartedly recommend it!

After how this establishment treated my daughter last week, I seriously question the legitimacy of the good reviews posted (from friends and family exploiting the marketing strength of positive reviews perhaps?) The shop was presented with daughter's 2018 Subaru Forester. What was represented to be no cost inspection turned out to be a $200 quick money-grab. Items requested by the customer to get checked out included brake rotors, front suspension noise, and rough running engine. The customer made a reservation and brought in the Subaru early first thing on Tuesday morning. The vehicle was ignored all day and only got attention when my daughter checked on things around 4pm that day. Miraculously, the shop was able to produce an "estimate" of what they concluded about the Subaru. This included $782 to replace spark plugs, which were needed; $300 fuel injection service; $1400 replace front shocks/struts; $1541 replace rear struts/shocks!!; $672 replace front stabilizer links!!; $223 replace transfer case fluid; $65 replace a license plate bulb!!; $508 replace front brakes and rotors (front brake pads were replaced by me 2 weeks prior!); $271 to replace a $40 serpentine belt!!... I guess some customers get prices better than the Subaru dealer and some don't??? After the quickshod inspection, $200 was nabbed from my daughter, who is just barely making ends meet in her job. I am still quit sickened by the shop's treatment. Is it the surname I wonder? My advice: Buyer be very aware!!

Lenexa Automotive lived up to their claim of honesty & integrity. I took my vehicle in after a cpl warnings lights came on - and went off. One being a check engine warning light that had me especially concerned, even though it went off on its own before I took it in. After running diagnostics and test driving my car, the technician couldn't find an issue with the car. Not only did they not try to fix a problem that wasn't there, they didn't charge me for the diagnostics. 100% recommended this auto shop for honest and fair service.

First time at the shop. We got a pre-purchase inspection on a vehicle, the inspection was very thorough with pics with a colored scale of important repairs. The staff are normal down to earth friendly people. We found the shop searching shops around the vehicle we were purchasing. found these guys, they gave us such a good first impression, that tough we have an hour commute to the shop, they will be the first people we call for any repairs or maintenance that I can't do myself even if we have to pay to get it towed that far.

I called the shop and explained to them the electrical issue l was having with my truck. I told the lady on the phone. All the parts I had replaced and still was receiving a check engine light. I also told her I didn't want to come to the shop and be charged for services that I had already completed on the truck. She told me I would not be charged if the shop could not figure out the problem with the truck. 2 or 3 hours later, the problem could not be solved. And they needed to work on other vehicles. They needed more time, perhaps another day or two, but I didn't have it. Unfortunately, so I was not charged. I give these people a 5 star because they were true to their word. The staff was nice and friendly and the place was nice and clean. There's no doubt in my mind. They do good work there. My problem was just a bit more complicated because it was a wiring issue. If you want your vehicle repaired by good honest, hard-working people I would recommend you to go there.
