Terrible service. Couldn’t find my car battery and then couldn’t test it. There was a lot of fumbling around by a four man team that looked like they hadn’t changed oil before. They charged me almost double what they should have and then gave me the wrong receipt. I had to come all the way back to the store from my work, and they didn’t even offer me a discount on my next overpriced oil change. I just hope they didn’t do any permanent damage to my vehicle.

My daughter went to this jiffy lube and asked for an oil change and wipers to replaced. Her car is a 2005 ford fiesta. It has always used conventional oil but they told her she needed the most expensive synthetic oil. $108 for the oil change. Then they charge her $55 for the wipers. They took advantage of her and she had a coupon that they would not scan for her. I was on a call so I couldn’t call until it was too late. Dishonesty and lack of ethics is terrible for a business. I now see I should have read the other reviews.

I came to this location 1-19-2026 at 11:47am to simply have air put in my tires. The staff member came out and immediately tried to get me to go to a gas station to get air due to a charge of $5. I simply said no I can wait to get air. The professionalism was not met and I refuse to come back.

Update: our oil has been slowly leaking ever since this oil change and I see another recent comment complaining of the same issue. Never had this issue before. Carissa was unnecessarily rude and short right off the bat when I refused a service stating that we do our own wiper blade changes, air filters etc ourselves. We recently moved and this Jiffy Lube was the closest but the place my our old house got my contact info so they could save my information for next time. I also asked for an email receipt and she said she would do it but never did. I almost left bc of her short tone and bc she started acting impatient when I couldn’t get my vehicle on the ramps quickly (the place I went before must have not been as high bc I’ve never had that issue before). It’s fine that they are taller but she made me feel stupid for having trouble. I felt very uncomfortable the whole time. No one should feel the way I did as a customer who did nothing but kindly refuse a service. I didn’t have to explain why I only needed an oil change but I did bc I was trying to keep the mood light as a quick oil change should be. Such an odd experience. I later saw her inside talking upset to someone in an office. She was also waving her arms around. With me being the only customer there it sure makes me wonder if she was talking about me. Just uncomfortable overall. I read some other reviews after my visit and see a rude woman is mentioned several times and I am pretty sure it’s Carissa!

Definitely do no come here. I never experienced a wotst oil change in my life! I should have known why there was no customers on a Saturday afternoon! I didn't go with my guts. Once guy only originally, checked me in! Scanned my car but didn't ask for any of my personal information. I just bought this car and first time visiting Jiffy lube! They didn't do any of the free inspections! The guy seemed like he was drunk or high. They kept changing the price on me. They couldn't when give me a receipt! Do not go here at all! Go-to Valvoline or Walmart or anywhere else. This place is a scam. I should have left but didn't have time to run around!

DO NOT COME TO THIS LOCATION. We came in for an oil change for a family members vehicle. After the oil change, on the way home, we could hear a dragging noise. What makes matters worse, they kept us an additional 10 minutes at the 87th street location to secure everything back in place, after taking apart the skid plate, to complete the oil change. Upon our arrival home, 2-3 screws fell out of the skid plate, and on to the driveway. We called back and talked to the manager, who was incredibly rude and disinterested in resolving the problem. I’d give 0 stars if I could. The Jiffy Lube location in Shawnee is superior in every aspect.

Update: This situation is still not resolved. Though Jiffy Lube has told me that they 'own' this mistake, I have faced further administrative and bureaucratic delays and stonewalling. Their 'Fleet Response' representative has called me, sat silently for 19 seconds, then documented that she 'attempted to make contact' before setting her phone to an 'out of office' message. She has indicated that she would send me emails including documentation and sent blank emails except for the 'thank you' closing. She has never once responded to an email within one business day, and her valuations of my car have been well below market value in the current market. -- This one is for the owner: This morning is the fourth morning my car is spending in bay 1 of the Jiffy Lube on 87th street in Lenexa, Kansas. Google won't let me post the longer version I've typed up, so here's the brief version: this establishment botched the job replacing my oil filter last week. They 'double-gasketed' it (in their words), they may have stripped the plug, and they may have damaged the plug threads with a flathead screw driver. They blame another Jeffy Lube for this, but the car wasn't leaking at all after my last oil change, and now it's leaking like a sieve. In my dealings with the management, they have made use of lies, absurd attempts to blame others, obfuscations, delays, and a refusal to return calls ever since the whole thing started. This morning when I went by at 8:30 (they 'open' at 8:00am) to see how things were going, cars were lined up, and no one was there. Their doors were locked. While I stood there waiting with a few other people, another woman pulled up and said her car had been leaking since they changed her oil on Tuesday. This establishment's manager did, on Tuesday, admit that I could 'put in a claim against him' (his words), and told me to get three quotes, and when I did a few hours later, he told me he would get back to me. He didn't get back to me for the rest of the day. When I called the next morning, the assistant manager (manager in training?) told me they had ordered a part on their own and thought they could fix it. When I asked about their willingness to pay for a rental car and pay for an independent inspection after they fixed my car, she said they would have to get back to me. They have not fixed my car, and they didn't get back to me. The crew here is clearly young, the supervisors are clearly young, and they are clearly training people as they go. I've spent enough time there between last Wednesday, this previous Tuesday, and the days I've stopped by since to tell you the service is not fast and the atmosphere, though some of the young workers do try, does not feel professional or polished even by oil-change place standards. While I was there on Tuesday I saw people drop things on themselves, mis-pass things from above to below through engine compartments, and I heard people howl in pain as they hurt themselves doing their work. I understand that young people need to learn, though, and I understand that people make mistakes. I could tolerate all of this if the place was at least ethical and would own-up to what it's done. The run-around, evasions, lies, mis-directions, and delays I’ve gotten from the management is inexcusable, and I’m highly dubious of my car being fixed correctly or in a timely manner at this point. Even if it is ‘fixed,’ I’m not sure I can trust my car to go on another long road trip with my wife and two small children again. My original thinking was that this store should refund me the price of the oil change and oil filter replacement, pay for a rental car, pay for diagnostics on my car, and pay for any repairs I might need. I wouldn’t have minded taking some cash for all of the hardship and inconveniences I’ve dealt with in the last week, either. Now I think they should just look up the bluebook value, pay me the high-end (the car was well-maintained before), and keep what they broke. Maybe this isn’t what we should do either, though. My wife and I are considering taking legal action.
