My mom called the 877 number and spoke to a Sabrina in Denver. My mom asked for a copy of what the insurance covered if they could let her know. Sabrina stated they didn't do that and she needs to go on computer to review services. At this time my mom let her know she doesn't have a computer as she is elderly and if she could just print it out and mail to her or tell her. At this time Sabrina told her to go to a neighbors house to use a computer??. I am just finding this out. This is ridiculous. What happened to going a little above for your customers?? Disappointing.

I am very disappointed with my experience with Good Sam Road Assistance and would not recommend them to anybody. I experienced a flat tire on my truck outside of Banff on 9/14/25 and call their number. I received an automated message which told me to call back in 1/2 hour. I was stranded on the Trans Canada highway and vehicles were racing by me. I decided to call a private company who came out and fix my tire within 45 minutes. I submitted a claims to Good Sam and was rejected because they said I never called them. I did called them and was told to call back in 1/2. I then call customer service and they told me they was have someone call me back in 48 hours to talk about my experience. They never called me back. The overall experience was terrible and I will not renew my membership with them.

Good Sam Roadside assistance is great! Well worth the annual fee. Helped us out twice on our trip to Big Bend National Park. We were in the middle of nowhere and they were able to find us a mobile RV repair guy to repair our Rv slide. Highly recommended.

Several years back i called good sam roadside assistance. I had a diesel pickup with a slide in camper in the back pulling a trailer with a jeep on it. My truck broke down. Good sam sent a guy out to load my truck with the camper up on a flat truck to haul. I told them it would be too tall to go under overpass we would have too fit under on the turnpike. Would not fit under overpasses. Way to tall. Wasted 3 hours trying to get them to tow me. My friend called his triple A and they had me call a tow myself and a guy came and disconnected drive shaft and pulled me in. I pulled the empty trailer behind my jeep. Good sams wasted 3 hours and would not help me. Triple A Sent my friend a check in the mail. I kept good sams as I have Rvs and thought next time they would help. Well, my Ford E350 van broke down so I called a tow and they disconnected the drive shaft and towed me to the shop in about an hour. I sent good sams the bill and they denied it. I'm done with all their programs I've been paying for. If they won't help or pay why would I keep them. To be honest, if you pay them for their service, you are a fool like me. I'm done. Don't believe anything they say or promise.

I broke down in Atlanta Georgia in 6 lanes of traffic in the middle lane in my motor home so traffic was backed up behind me and cars were zipping by on both sides so I couldnโt even get out , panicked I called 911 to get the police to help me and they wanted it out of there so they recommended a tow service I called it and had it towed. I filled out the claims form with a copy of my receipt and was rejected if they wonโt help you out in a situation like that then why have a claims form. I guess their insurance paperwork says to call them and they will help you but in this situation thatโs the last thing I was thinking Iโve never had something like this happen. In my opinion itโs poor service and I wouldnโt get it after seeing the results!

Weโve been Good Sam members more than 15 years and fortunately have not had to use the roadside service. In the last 2 years we have called twice. The first time the wrecker showed up after 2 hours and tells us he cannot tow our vehicle because he doesnโt have the right truck! Second time was today. Called to get a flat tire changed. My husband who is outside in freezing temperatures with gloves on gets 3 text fairly close together. 1-confirmation of service 2-do you still need service? He replied yes 3- your service has been cancelled because we were unable to locate you. I work from homeโฆ.he was outside with the vehicle NO one was here!!! Called back to Good Sam customer service, stay on hold while the guy tries to back track what happened. He tells me someone has been dispatched again. I asked that they place phone calls instead of text given the situation mentioned above (cold, gloves). Sitting at my desk looking at the vehicle sitting in my driveway, I hear my husbandโs phone ringing multiple times. They called and tried to tell him the reason the first visit was cancelled were locking hubs on the vehicle and they couldnโt change the tire. Two more lies! Again we have been right here no one came and our truck does not have locking hubcaps. As I sit here 5 hours later, three different companies have called to say they will be here sometime between 60-180 minutes. Furious is an understatement. Donโt waste your money on this service.

I purchased cause said unlimited towing, I had to use and we always use the same reliable mechanic, he's 35 miles away, straight shot. They wanted to take it to a backwoods mechanic that was closer that we don't even know. The fee after what they cover was $179, I called a towing company without insurance, it was $150!!!???. People don't buy this BS, who's making money? Not just the towing company they use!!

I spoke with Brandon F today. I was a supervisor in a call center over anywhere from 13 to 17 people. I wanted his supervisor to know what a great job he did on my call to him today. He made sure he had my contact number should the call drop before he got to finish taking care of me. He confirmed who I was and the teason for my call. He felt very genuine to me and not like he was reading from a script. Very personable. It was my fault I didn't get my discount as requested by 12/31/25. He just said things happen. Great rep! I was impressed!

We were driving South on the 101 North of Paso Robles, Ca. at 60 MPH in 99 degree heat. We had a tire explode in the back. There was a truck stop off ram just 100 yards up. We got off there. Found that both the rear tire went flat. Called Good Sam for help. They claimed we need to wait for a service contractor to pick up the call. Four hours later after we sweltered inside our Class A. The A/C helped. Thank God we had water and food on board. Good Sam called us and said they can not get us any help. Till Monday. Are they kidding??? I asked if we could find another service provider to help, can we be reimbursed for our out of pocket cost? They said we could file for reimbursement on line. We did find a very reputable tire service on the road contractor from the truck stop people. He had 2 used tire the right size only 2 yrs. old and he was on his way. 1 hour after we got off the phone with Good Sam. He was a very big man. Professional and very polite. It cost us $350.00 to get us back on the road and safe. We live in Visalia and made it home by 7:15 P.M. I filed for our Reimbursement both on line and by mail. Thanks for Nothing Good Sam Roadside Assistance. We also tried our AAA RV service as well. They were absolutely no help at all. We have been paying for these services for years. This was the first time we really needed their help. We are in our 70's, we were in a very hot situation (102 degrees), we were in a strange area and knew nobody. Good Sam was our friend for over 9 yrs. If this had happened way out in the boonies. We could have died. If we had no cell service.

I have paid for GoodSam for a few years. However, when my battery went dead and I was stuck on the road they choose to let me know my vehicle is no longer covered. They never mention this or cancel my policy. They just kept taking my money. I would give them a negative 10 stars if I could. The only thing good about this place was the woman named Kim whom I spoke with the 2nd time I called. The first time I spoke with a very rude woman. I was, i'm very glad to speak with a kind, knowledgeable person when I called back.

When I signed up for this service I was moving too fast and thought I was signing up for AAA. Even though I googled AAA this service is what popped up first and without reading I started signing up. The agent I spoke to convinced me that this was a legitimate service. I've had it for almost a year now but still have several months of service left. I have 2 cars, a 2004 and a 2019. The main thing I have used the service for is flat tires and a couple jumps. I called today to get a jump and I was told there is a flag on my account for using the service too much and I would have to pay for the jump out of pocket. Something I never experienced when dealing with AAA. Of course I refused to pay for the jump since I technically already did. Also, this place is in Colorado so if you ever need customer service beyond roadside assistance you have to wait until 10 if you're in Ohio to speak with someone. I do not recommend this service. Stick with AAA.

Run! Do not use. They will arbitrarily cut off your service and never refund your money. Better Business Bureau (BBB): The company is NOT BBB Accredited and has numerous filed complaints regarding service failures and billing issues. Contractor Issues: Some customers report that dispatched service providers were unprofessional, lacked necessary equipment, or even attempted to charge additional unauthorized fees on-site. Cancellation and Refund Hurdles: There are numerous reports of difficulty canceling memberships, with some customers continuing to be billed after multiple cancellation attempts.

Good Sam Roadside Assistance Platinum Plus plan did not come through for me. Traveled to Alaska and Canada in summer 2024 in our class C motorhome. Unfortunately the diesel emissions system had issues and we were in limp mode (thanks to modern diesel emissions systems) which limited us to 5 mph). Thought we would be able to get it fixed in Whitehorse, YK, but no one wanted to touch a Mitsubishi Fuso. So the only qualified repair facility was in Anchorage, AK. Good Sam rep would contact repair facilities in Whitehorse and they would contact me. After finding out what I had they would not agree to diagnose or attempt to repair it. So Good Sam stated that there is a $1500 limit and anything beyond that is on me. The best towing quote I got was $12000 USD to Anchorage, AK. I ended up calling the repair facility in Anchorage and they helped me diagnose the issue. I ordered parts and had a local car dealer in Whitehorse to install parts. That got me back on the road. So there are limits regardless what Good Sam tells you when reading their ads.

When I was camping and broke my leg and called from the ER, good Sam could not help me because I wasnโt a patient yet. I was put to sleep and had surgery. The last thing I thought of when I woke up was to call. Good Sam. They did not help me get my motorhome home, help me with my dogs, help me get home. It was a complete waste of money. Also, they keep sending me invoices saying my annual dues Need renewed. I went ahead and renewed them in December, which I regret now, and I continually every month receive an invoice saying my annual dues need renewed. They were charged to my credit card in December.. I just called the 800 number and he told me that I started a whole new account and that the one I already have doesnโt expire until March. I stated that I only renewed my dues because Iโve Received this invoice Stating it was due. He said he would cancel my other one that is current until March for me but couldnโt refund the difference. I said it was costing me To be paying twice and his answered to me was โwhat else is new everything cost moneyโ Very disappointed in good Sam.

DO NOT PUT YOUR SAFETY OR MONEY IN THIS COMPANY! Their call center is in Philippines but their phone is registered in Denver Colorado. When you google search CAA, Good Sam comes up first so when my brother bought the membership for me, he thought he was patronizing CAA rather than these scammers. I'm in Ontario Canada and I needed a tow truck to take my vehicle 3 doors down to a service center. I called Good Sam for a tow using my premium membership and I was told I'd have a tow truck within a few hours. A few hours later they call me back and say they can't find a tow truck but they'll have one here later in the evening, someone would call me when they're enroute - nobody called, nobody came. The next morning I called again and they say they sent my call to a case worker who was looking at my file. I asked why, since it was a simple dispatch call, why do we need a case worker?! They had no answer. Eventually, at 10am a massive flat bed truck shows up to my residential street but can't fit into my driveway since it's the size of a city block, so I cancelled the call. Good Sam dispatch then told me that they're sending another tow but it would take 9 hours lol. At this point, I contacted a local tow company and paid the extra money for a tow truck that showed up within the hour. I know that Good Sam won't respond to this because they only seem to respond to positive reviews, never addressing concerns or complaints from their members which only further validates their incompetence and lack of desire to correct their issues. I've read many other reviews here and it seems like Good Samaritan is putting peoples lives in danger on a regular basis.

worst company ever. refuse to tow you to where you need to actually go,refusing to cancel my auto renewal and complicating it for no reason and not letting me get a refund(even tho i made my membership a couple of days ago and haven't used it once). Now i have to go to the bank and manually cancel the subscription/auto renewal because โGood Samโ refuses to cooperate.Customer support also very rude.VERY HIGHLY recommend staying away from this scamming company.save your time and money and just go for AAA for the same price and way better service.(Good Sam also pops up first when you search up AAA membership because they pay money to get sponsored by google to be able to scam more people and steal AAAโs clients so beware of accidentally clicking on their link.).Avoid this company at all costs.

I joined the roadside assistance in November 2023 & got a good deal on a 3 year platinum level. Checked with them within the examination period of the policy if my Scrooter was also covered for the roadside assistance since in the program description they mention only motorcycles. I received an email reply on 11/26/2023 that โbased on your coverage your motor scooter should be coveredโ. They did great coverage for my cars. November 2025, lo & behold, the Scrooter will not start even with battery jump start! Called Good Sam for a pickup to the shop and they asked that Iโve to pay $65 and then after correspondence with Good Sam where they repeatedly told us Scrooter is not covered in spite of sending their Nov 2023 email confirming scrooter coverage, raised the price from $65 to $80 or $85 (I forgot)! Instead they asked if I wanted refund of my membership! I didnโt ask but assumed it was a prorated offer! As I said they were good for my cars but totally dissatisfied about going back on their word! Even if 2 people from the company made a mistake (phone & email confirmation), a reputable establishment should cover their promises even if made in error! I was with AAA for more than 20 years and they covered my Scrooter like my cars always! Iโm unable to understand that if a company covers motorcycles, why not Scrooters as I see lot of more scrooters on the roads (in cities)! A good company should change with time!

Good Same Roadside Service is a scam. I paid for 2 years, in full. They cut off my Service after 2 Roadside calls. They will promise / offer unlimited Roadside Service. This is a lie. They will accuse you of making Roadside service calls that you didn't make. They will accuse you of "excessive roadside calls." When a driver comes to your location he will ask for ID. Good Sam doesn't care if they can prove you made the service calls or not. They cut off my membership after 10 months. No investment. No refunds. Their business plan is to scam you out of your money. Stay with AAA don't switch. Pretend like their number doesn't exist. Their business model is ripping off the public. Charltons and con-artists!

What a scam. I wish I would have read all the terrible reviews before we joined their "elite" program. We sure don't feel elite getting screwed for $450. That's several YEARS of premium on one transaction. โน๏ธ๐๐ผ I'm shocked. I have been a Marcus Lemonis fan for years.. having met him in person and seeing his integrity 1st hand, I signed up with His Sams thinking they were a trustworthy and reputable company, that would take care of their customers. Boy was I wrong. A simple transaction has now turned into a nightmare. I will be canceling all of our policies with them and suggest you do the same. They will short change you by HALF! We've never had any problems with AAA and even our regular auto insurance company's who are known for screwing their customers have never done this to us! ๐๐ป Absolute SCAM. Shame on you Good Sam's. Please pass this on to Marcus, so he knows what he's putting his name on! ๐๐ฝ
