Mobile Mechanic = Excellence We have been with Chris for at least four years, and have never had a problem. Chris has always been upfront and dedicated to providing us with the best service. When he told us that he was going to be a mobile mechanic, there was a moment of, “What the hell does that mean,” but please trust me when I say, “it is what every mechanic should be, period.” I understand you might be thinking to yourself, what can he do without a shop, but in February, Chris changed out a fuel pump on my 2003 A4 Audi. He came to my work, when it was convenient for me, left NO oil stains, NO mess, there were NO problems, NO inconveniences. NO more dropping off your car at the mechanic. If you ever thought, “What is the mechanic doing all day?” NO more. You can see that Chris isn’t out there taking smoke breaks, coffee brakes, etc. When he is working on your car, he is only working on your car. You are all that matters and that is the way it should be. If any of you have a doubt, contact Chris, leave away to get in touch with you, and I will personally respond. He is that excellent.

After reading reviews about Bavarian Motors, I decided to give them a try with my 2002 BMW X5. I called on a Monday and they were booked up for nearly the entire week so I scheduled for the next week. I had experienced the engine suddenly quitting while parked at a stop sign, so I parked the car in the garage and waited for the next week's appointment. Chris hooked up the diagnostic computer and didn't see anything related to the engine quitting. He also didn't see anything troubling regarding electrical, of which the X5 has a multitude of opportunities, so that was a good sign. Now that he's seen my BMW and run the diagnostics, there won't be another charge for that, should the engine quit again. The diagnostic test was very fair in price and I had the feeling that I could trust Chris, should troubles arise in the future.

Yes, I would even recommend this business to a random person on the street. This is the best mechanic you are going to find in town, stop reading this review and bring your vehicle in now. Chris will make you a happy, life long customer in one visit. I know he made one out of me. My Story: Chris, owner and operator of Bavarian Motors LLC, is one of the best mechanics and business owners I have had the pleasure of doing business with. I originally went in to have two services appraised, but ended up have both of the services done because of Chris's exceptional & reasonable rates. I was able to have both services done. This was unexpected for me because I had a quote from the dealer for the same work, only they wanted to charge me double the amount that Chris was offering. Another thing that is different with Chris is that he is much more open about everything and I didn't get the feeling of being tossed around. I didn't have to wait in a room while some suit calculated the up-charges that they were going to ask me to pay. Chris worked with me to make sure my experience was a comfortable one. Also, through my experience with Chris of Bavarian Motors LLC, I found that he was very honest and up front with everything. He always called to keep me up to date with the progress of my car. When I needed an extra hose during my engine oil separator service he called before beginning the service to make sure that the extra part cost was okay with me. After getting approval to continue he finished the service. He was able to replace not only my engine oil separator but able changed out my shift shaft seal on the automatic transmission all within the same day which was a full day earlier than he had originally quoted me. He not only did a fantastic job on my scheduled maintenance but Chris also told me a couple things about my vehicle that I didn't know before. For example, Chris informed me that with my particular model's transmission with learn my driving style and adjust its self to fit. A huge plus is that my car was put inside for storage while not being worked on. All in all I would give Chris and Bavarian Motors LLC better than an excellent rating if Google would allow me.

I grew up in a mechanic's family. Chris is exactly who mechanics want to work on their cars. Work was done professionally and clean. He didn't take any short cuts. I would use his service over and over again. I don't even own a German car and will take my vehicles to him. Service was excellent, prices beat the competition and were better than fair. Chris is honest and told me what he thinks needed to be done without any extra BS. There was also no pressure at all with his service. If you have a car that needs to be worked on, call Bavarian Motors LLC.

Chris is awesome! He was on time, courteous and extremely professional. His mobile mechanic business model is built on professionalism and integrity, and it shows in his demeanor and quality of service. He gave an estimate on my wife's Jeep Cherokee for some work we will need to save up for. He came to us, and that was that! No headache, no taking half a day off work or negotiating bus routes. A+++ !

I had a very unprofessional experience with this mechanic. During my visit, I injured my knee because his dog was unleashed in the shop. When I brought this up, his response was simply that the dog is friendly. He is fortunate that I didn’t take legal action against him. Additionally, I requested a diagnosis for my temperature sensor to determine if the issue was with the sensor or the harness. Instead of addressing my specific request, he proposed other unnecessary repairs and claimed he needed more budget to assess the harness. I regret not taking my car to the BMW dealer, who charge $225 and only $75 more to complete the harness and sensor work. As a result, I now have an incomplete job and a knee injury that requires surgery. This mechanic’s lack of professionalism has caused me significant inconvenience and harm.

Solid, dependable shop that works on performance German vehicles. I needed a brake bleed and tech inspection ahead of a track day in my VW Golf R. Scheduling was easy and Bavarian Motors went above and beyond to quickly resolve a minor issue that would’ve caused me to fail the inspection. This place is on the other side of town, but I plan to always take my VW here from now on due to the quality of service and attention to detail.

Chris is absolutely fantastic. We took our Audi Q7 in to have him check into an oil leak. We've had quite a few problems with our engine and have had it serviced at McDonald Audi several times in the last few months, with which we were highly dissatisfied. He read our extensive previous service history thoroughly and upon inspecting the car recommended that we take it back to the dealership that did the previous service, as it should still be under 12 months/12000 miles warranty. He showed us patiently all of the problems he found. I've never been under a car with the mechanic showing me what is wrong before. It was pretty cool. We will bring this car back to Chris for inspection when McDonald is done with it, and for all future oil changes, repairs, everything. He really went the extra mile and made us feel really comfortable and safe, something we've never felt in dealing with the dealership to date. Highly recommended.

Chris did some work almost two years ago on my BMW. A part that was replaced failed (not his fault, a manufacturer issue). I took my car back and Chris honored his 2 year warranty on the part and his work. He replaced the part for free. Not only that, but I needed the work done quickly or I would have had to rent a car for a work trip that was coming up. Chris was able to fit me in immediately and got the work done the next day. I believe he went above and beyond to get my car done quickly and helped me avoid added expense. I'm very happy with his shop and will use him again.

Great shop! I needed maintenance work and Chris was straight forward and told me I needed a few more things done on my 2008 BMW X5. He recommended a priority of what should be fixed first. There was a mishap on one of the repairs he did, he covered the cost of the damaged part and labor AND rental car! Class act, honest and upfront. I will continue to take my vehicle to Bavarian Motors because he's knowledgeable, honest and fair pricing which is cheaper than the dealership I was going to before.

If you are looking for an honest, highly skilled BMW technician, I cannot recommend Chris highly enough. He was very detailed and methodical though every step of the process. I called Chris with questions in regards to a broken oem charge pipe and issue I was having with an aftermarket one that was installed by another shop. He helped me diagnose the problem and figure out a solution while also having quick availability to bring my car in for him to work on. Chris is one of the nicest and most honest mechanics I've met in Denver. I've learned very quickly how some mechanics are not. I have an older BMW and it has had its fair share of troubles but if I need help and fair pricing Chris does just that. Chris took good care of me and my 328xi after it threw up all of its coolant a few days ago. I will be taking my car back later this week to have a few other non-critical issues taken care of, and again in the future for any repair needs that come up. Chris at Bavarian Motors really knows BMWs inside & out and provided great clear service to refresh my aging car. I purchased a 2000 BMW Z3M that had been sitting for 4 years. I initially took it to a local “do it all” mechanic for a once over and to address anything the aging car needed. I wasn’t impressed with the other shop’s BMW knowledge and the quotes they provided were dealership level prices and required that they keep my car for weeks to work on what seemed like simple issues with the brakes and suspension. After my poor experience with a “do it all shop” I was looking around for a BMW specialist and found Chris at Bavarian Motors. Chris was able to fix the issues the other mechanic found for 2/3 the cost and fix them in a day. He also found more items the previous mechanic missed. He did a great job providing pictures and explaining what needed to be done. He was able to address these other issues in a day as well. My car now runs great thanks to Chris and he has earned my future business through his clarity and honestly. Great shop I would recommend to anyone looking for a BMW specialist.
