When I called, Mrs. Barbara was kind, understanding, and incredibly professional. Even though she let me know they were swamped with cars, she assured me she would do her best to fit us in—and she absolutely delivered. What stood out most was her clear and thorough communication throughout the entire process. I love this auto repair shop! Anytime I have had an issue with my car they have fixed the issue and are the most honest people. Very friendly and honest family owned business. I sent my car to Gowen for repairs ,I spent 9k in repairs with a used motor that I purchased myself the receptionist at the front desk called me back to tell me that I needed to buy more parts.Ever time I got ready to pick my car up this lady would call me again to say something else was wrong with my vehicle. By this time this bill was extremely high I was frustrated and told Gowen do not fix anything else on the vehicle and I was coming to pick my car up after picking my car up on the day of when I left driving down the road the car was not picking up speed , i called Gowen and told the receptionist that the car was not driving right an the car it was not clean on the inside as well as on the outside. I stated to her when I pick the car up and I drove it away the seats was broke the heater did not work and the radio did not come on I had mold inside car items was missing out the trunk my tires went flat all the light came on the dash . The reception said she would check with the mechanic and call me back.I called them back after 2 hrs I asked why did my car look like this and that I am having the car sent back to them to be fixed . I paid for the recker truck twice to have my car repaired,and my car is still not fixed I’ve spent over 8k in rental cars and I want all my money back at this present time I am out of a vehicle and have to borrow money to catch a ride to work. Gowen played games with me and laughed while I was on the phone with them crying. Can someone please help with this . I’m appalled!!!!!!!

Got it right the first time considering my bad experience with a couple prior mechanic shops . Very friendly and considerate establishment . Barbra the receptionist , was very understanding and listened carefully to each and every detail regarding my mechanical issues . After entrusting Gowens with my vehicle , I was contacted a couple hrs later . They clearly explained what my issue was and what it would cost to repair it . I was back on the road the next day and the price was very reasonable . My car runs so much better . I'm very thankful for honest , friendly and reliable service .

This is a follow up from my previous review.Gowwn had did some work and charged me $657 bit when I picked up my truck it had the same problem nothing changed. Mr.Rick Gowen the owner contacted me .He was not aware of what had transpired so he offered me 65% of my money back because they did change a part that needed replacing.I thanked Mr Gowen for the refund and am so glad that he cares about his customers...I will give them another try when something goes wrong.
