Great people run this place. Make an appointment as it takes somewhere around a week to get you in. They do stand behind their work, and will make it right if by chance there is a problem

These folks are my "go to" for auto repairs I can't handle myself. They are the best AC shop in the area!! On top of that they're honest and will advise you on what you vehicle needs based on what they find. The only downside is that they're always busy!!

Took my car in for an oil change and told them about a problem with my dune buggy, which is basically an old VW Beetle. No problem. A simple adjustment. After their "VW expert" works on it, it won't start. They say needs a new battery even though I had no trouble prior. Spend $250 on new battery. Still won't start. They don't know the problem. So put in a new starter. Get it home. Won't start. Now I have to spend money to take it somewhere else so it can be fixed because they screwed it up and don't know how to fix it. Stay away. Update: Took it somewhere else. They diagnosed the problem in about 10 minutes and had it fixed by the afternoon. I wouldn't go to H&R if the worked for free.

We have used H&R for services on my 2003 Jeep and 2007 Infiniti for over 14 years. They always come through for us and I trust them with our vehicles. Very knowledgeable and fair. Will definitely continue to use them in the future without a doubt.

Replaced wheel bearing for us. Well pleased w/service and time. We had more work done at a later date so, if you're looking for an honest mechanic (and who isn't), this is the place to go. :)

I had a bad battery that required jumping each time I started the car. I went to H&R without an appointment to buy a replacement Interstate Battery, and they worked me into their overloaded schedule to replace it for me. They were so nice and were less expensive than other auto parts stores’ cheapest batteries. I am so grateful for H&R!

The owner was great in his experience and explanation for my vehicle. It's at the shop now as I write this. I'm putting my trust in this repair shop, I'm a senior and a lady, so far everyone has tried to take advantage of that. I was told this place was fair and honest. I am forever grateful that they fixed my car. I was able to get it inspected . They didn't try to charge me for things I didn't need. Very honest, fair and knowledgeable mechanics. Thank you.

They saw me coming but they never will again. I took my automobile a 2001 Pathfinder in on April 1st late in the afternoon to have them look it over and give me an estimate for air conditioning. The man was busy on his computer he told me to bring it back the next day. I consulted with a friend who said you are missing some parts they need to know what parts to order and you need to pay for them so they can order them in advance. I returned the next day which was April the 2nd. I had to tell the man that I was missing parts and he needed to see what it was I needed ordered. And that I wanted to get my air condition completely fixed. And for him to order the parts. The following week he called me I went over again he said well your parts came in but we won't get to do it until next week well that was into the second week and I paid for the parts at that time that he had ordered. What he did not tell me was he still had not ordered all the parts so when I went in and left the car he put on the parts he had received and ordered to that point but he lacked a fan shroud so some of the parts which he had not ordered needed to be affixed to the fans shroud and because he did not wish to remove the parts until he could get the fans shroud. The first fan shroud came and it was the wrong size another week passed. All together my car was in the shop and unavailable for me to drive for almost 3 weeks. In addition I was charged more than I was quoted. I didn't have the spirit to protest simply because I had waited long enough. And since then I found out that the amount I was charged was probably excessive it was over $1,500 especially since I prepaid for the parts. So the company was out nothing. H&R used to be the place to go to take a car for air conditioning work. But the younger generation has taken over and did not maintain the work ethic of the older gentleman who used to work there who had done work for me twice before. So I may get a new car and it may have air conditioning trouble but I will take a hammer to it before I will take it back to h&R. Especially because they left me borrowing someone else's car when all they had to do was stack up the parts until they got them all. And then they charged more than I was quoted. I think the work that they did was correct however the aggravation was not. I got no apology for having to lose my ride for around 3 weeks or for the excessive cost. Go there at your own risk.
