The service department is very unprofessional. They are non-responsive and difficult to reach. My vehicle was there for a week and a half before I knew what was going on with it. When I finally got in touch with a technician, I was told that the previous technician had been fired and they would be starting on my repairs. A week later, and no communication. When I called, I was told (by the technician and service manager) that he would have a technician put on my vehicle the next day and he will give me a call with updates by the end of the week. Needless to say, the week has ended and I still don’t know the outcome or even if the work has been started. This has been a terrible experience, and I don’t recommend using Jim Burke.

I took my car in for a recall. When I got my car back. I notice my window and all my light was on on my dash. The service manger told me that he wasn’t going to fix it. I had to pay someone else to diagnose my car and to fix it which was a simple fix that mechanic that worked on my car couldn’t figure out. If I could give the a negative stars I would.

Went there to get my car checked out and left with my engine check light on for the 1st time ever! Service tech denied any responsibility before I even pulled off!! These people are shady, very unprofessional!!!! Will never return!

Brought my wife's 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee in to have the brakes checked due to a dashboard warning light. Made the appointment for 8am on Monday. They didn't diagnose the car until Tuesday afternoon. Called me to say the master cylinder needed replacing, but they didn't have one in stock. Took 4 days for the part to arrive, then another day to replace it. FInally got the car back that following Tuesday. Brakes seem seemed to work fine driving around in town. 3 days later was Friday of Memorial Day weekend and we planned to drive to Gulf Shores (300 miles away). I forgot to ask Jim Burke to change the oil while they had it, so I took it to the local Express Oil Change I always go to. They popped the hood and discovered that the cap for the brake fluid reservoir was loose and just sitting next to the master cylinder on the engine block. To say I was livid was an understatement. If I hadn't taken it to get the oil changed that morning, I was about to drive 300 miles with an open brake fluid reservoir. No telling the catastrophe that could have awaited. Thankfully the Express Oil Change folks spotted it and let me know. After some choice curse words and repacking we took our other car to the beach. I took the Grand Cherokee back to Jim Burke when we got back and had them inspect everything to make sure no air had gotten into the brake lines while we had been driving around in town for 2 days with the cap off. They were cordial about it and didn't charge me for the inspection, but this was our first time visiting their service department, and you can bet this will be our last. Human error happens all the time and I can't fault people for their mistakes if done without malice, but I shudder to think what might have happened 200 miles down the road and the brakes suddenly going out. Just hitting a speed bump could have sent brake fluid flying all over the engine. Very disappointed in the experience, would not recommend.

Absolutely shocked when I went today to get my free oil change and they told me I had to pay $570 to get my free oil change. They said times have changed the service that was once free is no longer free. They require costumers to pay for a service that is needed. They charge 75% more than what it truly cost to get that service done. When proven the service is around $100 cheaper they said they would no budge I needed to take my service elsewhere there’s nothing they can do it’s the new company policy. They then said I no longer needed to be a customer because this is how it is now. After years of loyalty, they sold me a free lifetime service that is no longer a lifetime service. How nice to be able to alter contacts after you purchase on their end. I would love to know if we have the ability to alter contracts on our end as well. Truly disappointed. Great staff most of the time so this is really sad

Got my car serviced today, made an appointment at 8 am for a diagnostic because my engine light was on. Was told I needed a thermostat replaced and coolant engine flushed. Waited hours for this service , when I was inially told they had all the necessary parts and it shouldn't take long because my car was already back there. Watched 3 to 4 people leave before me that came long after me . I was told that service HAS to be booked and service would be provided based on appointment time not based on service ( whether you need something simple as an oil change or something major) Miraculously after complaining about wait time to an advisor, my car was ready in 20 min( go figure) this will be the first and last time I book any service with this location. I purchased my car brand new back in 2016 and its paid off so I don't have to receive services from this location . I booked this service because in the past it has been pretty decent and the guy who sold me the car was friendly so I decided to continue my services but after today, I will definitely find other places to get my car serviced

Seems to be more and more common but was disappointed to see a 3% surcharge for using a credit card and also not accepting a personal check for $3k of service. So beware, this is a cash only service department. I have been a customer here for years even though the last 4 years it has not been the most convenient location for me. While I might not be able to always avoid surcharges like this one I will at least use a more convenient dealership for me. Loyalty to this one is over.

Horrible service,, I strongly do not recommend,, it's all about the money,, and I had to keep taking my car back for about a month,,and it was one thing after another, and all they kept saying was one thing didn't have anything to do with the other thing, but they kept charging more and more money,, every time I got my car back the engine light was on, then the wipers didn't work,, and now the heat doesn't work,, I paid them over $3000,, it's just ridiculous,, every time I tried to call the service manager he never returned my call,, it was a horrible experience and I won't go back,, now I have to pay another shop to fix my heat

I used to come here because the oil change was reasonably priced (around $69), but today they tried to charge me almost double. They told me the oil change would cost $108, which is way too much for such a basic service. Prices are no longer fair or transparent. It’s disappointing because I used to trust this place, but with these unreasonable increases, I won’t be coming back.
