On 6/30/24 my company truck broke down in Ashland Elementary Montana and my company book the best tow team of professional friendliest team of tow wrecker Talon and Harvey out to help me out. They were Fast efficient friendly. It was a wonderful ride all the way to Billings MT to their shop In Billings MT with Harvey. Even better Harvey gave me a lift to my company paid hotel I was staying at till the truck got fix. What a professional!! I had a new rebuild installed at a certified diesel shop. That Hansers transmission stood behind. The shop only tightened one of the bell housing bolt's. The mechanic drove it to pick me up. As soon as I started the truck. 99 F-250. The dash was bouncing so hard it was moving up n down about an inch. Obviously it was not right. I told him that something was wrong. He got instantly rude. Started to get loud. I told him. I'm not saying that you did something wrong. I'm just saying that something is NOT right. We got to the shop, made him remove the inspection plate at the torque converter. The flex plate was going up and down about an inch. I knew it broke. Fords 7.3 are known for breaking the flex plate around the mounting bolt's/ spacer at the crank. He started yelling. So of course I took as much of his attitude as I could. I took the truck home. The owner came over. On his way there I got under the truck and seen the bell housing bolt's were loose. The washer on the bolt's were actually on an angle. That's how loose it was. They replaced the flex plate. Over 2 weeks later. I was lied to by Bronson, the shop manager, who was also the one that installed the new transmission. I called Hansers Transmission in MT. Drew, the person who is in charge of the phone and says who gets a rebuild on warranty says.. I'll give you one rebuild. 3 year warranty on the transmission. I called him 2 years later. Reason being. I moved back home from ND to MI. It was rattling pretty bad by the time we got to MI from ND. So I parked it. I didn't have the time to pull it out, I just started my new job and Drew had already agreed to rebuild it. I ended up getting TENDONITIS in both of my arms from the shoulders down to my hand's in both arms. I couldn't even open the door to the bathroom without being in extreme pain. I called Drew from Hansers transmission again and explained to him my situation. He said. Don't worry about it. I'll rebuild it once you get it out and send it to me. Well. It was a year before I could get it out. At this point. It was a couple of months past the warranty. At this point. He refused to rebuild it. It has 5,000 miles on it. Warranty says. 3 year's or 100,000. I didn't get either. The front pump shaft is broken and it's not even movable. The total bill was over $6,000.00. Now I have to get it done it myself. In which case. This is the first time I have ever had anyone work on one of my vehicles. I've always done all of the mechanical work myself. Been wrenching since I was a kid. Mike Rawthhorne owner of the shop where Bronson works hasn't returned one of my calls since the replacement of the flex plate. He is in Williston ND. Bronson said that he had to spend a whole day replacing the wire harness plugs at the transmission. I still have NOT found one piece of wire replaced any where on the transmission. There's only 2... Liar's are the absolute worst type of person to deal with. Drew, being one, Bronson being the absolute worst type of person to deal with. I strongly urge you to rethink your choice of shops if you are gonna be using either of those places...

I recently bought a truck and since transmission was slipping on 3rd gear, i crawled underneath to check everything and found their sticker on a pan, found them on google, decided to give them a call, ask about warranty and what they did to transmission. All i could find out was that they did rebuild it couple years ago. No date, no list of work, no mileage at the moment of rebuild. Truck has 240,000 miles now. I don’t know how it was driven before, but i don’t think that transmission should last only about 120,000 miles. And since they don’t keep any record about work they done, that tells me something about how they stand after their warranty. Not the best experience and not what i was expecting from that call. ——————— Update to 3 stars. I spoke with the manager, calm and constructive talk we had. They found information about that truck, turned out it drove only around 4k miles, if i remember correctly. They agreed to take a look on it, i just need to take it off and ship it to them, which i can’t do now. Will update again after.
