I made the appointment for 1 PM, days ahead of time. A COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME. Wouldnt want you to fall for it too. So I filled out the service I wanted on their website (A 60,000 mile maintenance service) through their online form and selected on that form that i would be waiting for them THERE to complete the job. Not dropping it off. Not coming back later. The earliest appt was the day after the next. I wasnt waiting 3 days or a week for them to get to it. Not dropping it off overnight. I show up to the Hendrick Dodge Cary service center in person on the day of - just for the service intake guy to tell me "What are you here for?" I give him my name, and appointment info. He's already rushing me along. Doesnt have any of the information i filled out online. Instead, he Makes up his own narrative. "Okay, okay. Youre here for oil and tire rotation." I answered "No, I filled out a form online from your website saying what I was having done. I made an appointment for the 60k maintenance service. Can you just verify for me please." I tried to show him the form. He then tells me "Ill look it up and see whats supposed to be done, but our service techs dont get back until 2pm. And we are slammed so if you cant leave your vehicle i dont know what'll happen. I'll have to get back to you". He tells me he will go ahead and start my oil change and tire rotation but thats probably all theyll get to today and i might have to come back for everything else. AFTER MAKING THE APPT DAYS AHEAD! Why burden your customer with this inconvienience and not even bother to call and let them know this? There is no way until you drive all the way there, that you find this out because its hard to reach anyone in service by phone. No one called. No one said anything to me. Then they took the liberty to enroll me in Sirius XM radio trial which I never asked for. I get notified by email. Legit, enroll me in something i never asked for that i have to call and cancel. They change my engine air and cabin filters and TELL ME, they completed an oil change FOR A DISGUSTING $233 DOLLARS, and include a $29 tire rotation they told me they couldnt do afterwards because NOW SUPPOSEDLY MY TIRES WITH 36K MILEAGE ON THEM, MICHELIN TIRES, ARE BALD. YEAH RIGHT. But worst, they dont even address the 60k mile maintenance points in the 2016 owners manual. Instead, trying to upcharge me on my already installed Michelin all weather tires with 36,000 miles of wear they claim were BALD. I dont tow anything and the warranty on these tires are to 50k miles and i just passed the safety inspection so i knew it was a lie. You know, I was ignorant because I thought i HAD to come here to get my vehicle serviced at these time interval maintenance mileage stamps - and suffer through outrageous markups for work i didnt need while they ignored the work i actually needed like the transmission flush, ignored the engine coolant flush, joints inspection, ignored the transfer case fluid inspection and then tried to reschedule me for fuel injection service or something like that which isnt even listed in the dodge ram 2016 1500 maintenance book for this mileage setting and then instead upsell me to $1400 dollar tires i didnt need, and overpriced cabin filters. I feel like a complete scam was run on me here and i wouldnt take my worst enemies car or truck to be serviced here. By the way. Always check after the tech when you supposedly have your oil changed. How is it that in just a few hours, my "brand new" oil change is a dark amber brownish color when it should be closer to golden-clear if an oil change was even done at all? Out of a 1 - 7 scale, my oil is a 3 - 4 color AFTERWARDS and i still had almost 1800 miles to go on my original oil change but decided if they would get everything done here together to just include this as well. I am pretty sure i paid $103 for an oil change that never happened, just to get me out the door with an unnecessary charge and markup. Im considering making a complaint with the state attorney generals office at this point after looking at my oil.
