Horrible horrible horrible, owner is a complete scam artist, we agreed on a price for 3 hours of work, he called us 1:30 after we gave the car to him and he demanded more then the agreed price, please nobody ever go here, if you go here and u get scammed tbh that’s ur fault cause I warned you

The place is a total scam. They randomly charge you for the service. He asked for $250 just to clean the transmission module and I had to bargain to and finally reduced to $150. But the transmission module doesn't seem to be even touched. The person in responsible asked me to pay in cash (no card or zelle). He refused to give us the bill also. He did all this purposefully to tax evasion (he even said that to me). Such a terrible and pathetic service

If i could give negative stars I would, Sunday my moms car broke down due to a radiator problem so we had it towed to Howdy, off the bat the guy was very creepy, calling my mom at 11pm asking if she was up and and she should come over and invited her to dinner. He looked throughout her car in the back seats I guess to see for valuables. He didn’t even fix the radiator like we had asked him to he fixed the water pump and fan belt which was not something we asked him to do at all. After my mom got her car back, it broke down right outside of Bryan, had to have it towed back and he finally fixed the issue. Worst experience for my mom and I with a mechanic. This place is a scam do not recommend Howdy Auto Rebuild to anyone

Got my head gasket, engine oil and filter, brake pads and rotors and battery changed and am very satisfied with the work done, all for a very reasonable price. Don’t listen to the people who are leaving 1 star reviews as they have no idea what they’re talking about. Bring your car here to get fixed and see for yourself!

If I could give zero stars, I would. This place is a complete scam. The mechanic tries to upsell unnecessary repairs, charges random amounts in cash only (no receipts), and doesn’t actually fix the problem you bring your car in for.

Most important thing which most customers did't know that the owner(Rouf) doesn't understand Written English at all. So when he attached OBD Scanner. He doesn't understand written english on scanner and don't know what the car has the issues. He just cancel all errors(engine check light goes off) and said. (Brother. Your car is good to go). After 2 days. Engine check light come again. and u have to go again to his shop.
