I was in the market for an A to B car and found one on Facebook Marketplace from In Motion Auto and Sales a 2003 Mercury Gand Marquis. I worked with Kyrel originally to look at the car, he was very responsive, accommodating, and personable. He did not pressure and answered questions as they came up, and if he did not know, he would not just give BS, he would ask! I also interacted with Kwest who also was responsive, accommodating and personable during the process and was helpful with the title process. After I purchased the car, I drove it about 90 miles and the blending actuator for the climate control went bad and it was stuck on hot. I contacted Kyrel and he instructed me to bring it by and he was confident the owner would help me out! The next day I went to the shop and David, the owner was also personable and knowledgeable of the vehicle, was able to fix the issue. He handed the car to his most experienced technician, Rick, and dropped everything to make it right, and he had it repaired in 2 hours, and it was free! I am not sure how many people know what a process it is to replace an actuator, but you do need finesse! I truly believe David stands behind his work and cars, and people need to understand he is not a prophet so he cannot find everything! Which is why he gives a 30 day warranty and MOST places do not give warranties on 21 year old cars! Frankly, if I am in the market for an A to B car again, I will be going back to In Motion!

Was essentially scammed. Was sold a car that had an issue the day after I got it home. The problem was "fixed" for about 2 months until it popped back up. Took it to the dealer and it's going to be almost the price of the car again. Was told there's nothing they can do. Buy at your own peril, I recommend anywhere else.

I have been using In Motion for 5 years. They are very honest. Always call with what is wrong and get approval. Even saved parts to show me what was wrong one time. They are affordable and honest with their pricing. I feel like treat my car like it’s their own. Will never go to another mechanic. They are very quick with fixing and get my car back to me within hours. The owner even drove me home to my house and picked me back up once when I first used them when I didn’t realize the repair would take a few hours.

Dave at the front desk helped me out a lot today. Long story short my husbands tire blew the night before and we needed a tire fast. I called Dave at In Motion Auto in the morning the next day and he was able to get a tire in for us the same day on top of installing and a rotation. I have nothing but praise for this shop. Amazing experience (even if I didn’t get the best news). These guys got me in last minute as I was traveling through Kansas City and was having issues with my van. They not only squeezed me in between their scheduled appointments when I was in a tough place, but they didn’t try to take advantage of my situation and let me know what I needed to do to make it home safely. David also referred some places that could help me with the parts I needed without trying to price gauge me - which is really important to me when I’m looking for good people who can work on my van. Avoid this dealership at all costs — they will scam you! I’m a single mom of two and told them I needed a reliable car for a long-distance drive (16+ hours). I trusted them and paid over $5,400 for a Kia Sorento. Not long after buying it, I realized the car had a stutter when driving. I had it checked out by my mechanic, who suspected a misfire—likely a bad cylinder. I took it back to the dealership and asked them to look into it. They brushed it off, claiming it just had a “high idle.” When I picked it up, the problem was still there. They claimed they couldn’t feel it while driving, which I know is not true. When I asked for a refund, they only offered me $4,000—less than what I paid just a couple weeks ago! They refused to fix the issue, saying they didn’t want to “guess” which cylinder it might be. This is absolutely unacceptable. If you care about safety, fairness, and honesty, do not buy from this dealer. They’ll take your money and leave you with a problem they refuse to make right.

As an international student, every dollar I spend carries weight and unfortunately, I got scammed. I strongly urge others to avoid buying from this place. I purchased a 2005 Hyundai Elantra for $2,500, and it turned out to be a complete disaster. The car had serious transmission issues right from the start, and I ended up spending another $1,500 trying to fix it. In the end, all that money went to waste the car was totaled and I had to junk it for just $500. What really baffles me is how these guys still have a rating above 4. Don't make the mistake I did. Stay away.

In Motion is absolutely fabulous. David, owner and operator, is honest, fair, and would never take advantage. (saying this as a woman). Rick, Lead Tech Mechanic, is equally fabulous. He loves working there and it shows. They took very good care of my 2017 Buick Enclave. I've gone there twice now. 1st was just to change a fuse. Which David didn't even charge me for. 2nd was for an oil change. Got me in an out very quickly. Didn't try to upsell me. I'm not going to go anywhere else from now on.
