I’m very disappointed with the lack of transparency at this place. When I asked about recharging my A/C, I was given a price for the service — but no one mentioned there would be an extra charge for diagnostics. I was never told that the A/C system would be checked first or that I’d be charged for that check. No one explained the possible outcomes — whether it would just be a simple recharge, or if a diagnostic might be required first, or if there could be other issues involved. I assumed we were going to recharge the A/C, I’d pay, and that’s it. If we weren’t able to proceed with the recharge, I didn’t expect to be charged. By the way, it was the second shop I went to because I wanted a second opinion. At the first shop, they did the exact same diagnostic process but didn’t charge me anything when I decided not to move forward. Clear communication is important, and I didn’t feel that I got it here. [Edited] In response to the owner’s reply: I never expected anything to be free. But when you’re selling a service, it’s your responsibility to clearly explain what the process might involve and what it might cost — before any work is done. Surprising the customer afterward is not good business practice. I visited another small business before coming to you. They explained everything in detail, were transparent about the process, and there was no misunderstanding. Based on that experience, I assumed you — as another small business — would operate in a similar, professional way. As the one selling the service, it was your obligation to clearly communicate the possible scenarios and associated costs. That didn’t happen here.

Highly recommend using Insane!! They installed a lift, new tires, new wheels, and a spare delete kit and fixed the Death Wobble!! And they did this for less than anyone else was asking! They got me in fast and finished everything in one full day! Also, they really listened to what I was looking for and provided me with options in my price range as well as offered advice on what would look best. They definitely know what they are doing! If I have any more work I want to get done in the future, this is the only place I'll be going!

Tom is very helpful and a knowledgeable mechanic. His prices are very reasonable. Back in 2018 I purchased a brand new JK with only 30 miles on it, a week later I had Tom put a 4" lift, 20" rims & tires, side steps, front and back bumpers & winch. My Jeep now has 37,000 miles and I've not had any problems with all of the items he installed. VERY GOOD WORK.

Took my Jeep to multiple places to get my alignment done and nobody could get it right. Soon after the alignment my Jeep started to wobble uncontrollably (dead wobble) and I took it to another shop and they couldn’t find the issue. I started searching online for places to take my Jeep and this mechanic shop came up on my search and decided to give them a try. I took my Jeep to them and in matter of minutes they found the issue and they went to great detail to explain the issue. They fix it in matter of a day or two, my jeep rides a lot better now I also had them install bigger gears for my over size tires. I would recommend this place to anybody wanting to do work to their Jeep.

This is the second time I’ve used Insane Automotive and they’ve done an excellent job both times. I have been researching this shop for a bit.! My project truck is not a very common truck! I Decided to give them a try.! Man where do I begin.? Great Communication! I have noticed since they opened they have been really packed.! My truck went in around 9am and done by 2 pm my truck was leveled and replaced a high pressure Steering hose. My truck feels like someone else’s.! Finally on the right track.! So check them out.!!! Great prices and great work With lightning speed. Mark and Tommy that was outstanding work.! I would give 10 stars if I could. I can’t recommend them enough. They found a problem on my truck that was wrongfully installed from the dealership. Not only that, got it done in less than 8 hrs when the dealership took 3 days AND did it wrong. Tomio and his crew came in clutch and helped me out when I was in a pinch and got my truck back on the road. Will continue to do business here for sure.

It’s very hard to find places you can trust to do honest work without gouging you. I’ve taken my Shelby GT500, RTR S650 and Cadillac Blackwing to them and never had a worry if things were going to be done properly. They’ve done everything from a Full Return Style Fuel System, FI interchiller and Full Suspension work for me to name a few things. If things don’t go according to plan and more parts or something different is needed, there is always communication on the matter. A+ shop.
