I have been going to these folks for years. If you need a trusted mechanic these are your guys! I walked in with a P0201, P0403, and a P0300 codes. They could have diagnostics $120, they didn’t instead of tearing it down, they gave me an octane boost and a quality fuel injector additive to rule out bad gas… tada! Two tanks later no light!!

I’ve always found it very difficult to find a good mechanic when you’re settling into a new city; it usually takes months or even years to find the right one. This time however, the rule was broken. I‘be only been in Houston TX for two weeks, and I’m living in the city of Spring, and after searching online, and for reasons that can only be explained by faith, my wife and I found R&E Auto Repair. This place is simply the best. I brought my wife's truck in because of an engine noise that I couldn't get to replicate while there with them and the engine light wasn't on. They diligently tested and kept me posted trying to make the sound again. They sent me a video of what they found. A cracked CV axle! They told me I needed an oil change and I said I know but I like to do those myself. They understood and never pressured me to get extra services. George suggested a can of EPR because the only codes pulling up was oil pressure related things. He thought I might have a bit of sludge build up. Well, I followed their direction, changed my oil, reset the computer, and no more noise! They were right and now the truck is much safer and running great. These guys are the best and I'll always take my vehicles to them!

Good, trustworthy people. The cable brake on my daughter’s Walmart Vespa wouldn’t tighten. It’s not really a small engine and it’s not really a bike. No place really wanted to work on it. The folks at R&E did. Not only did they fix it, but they did it free of charge! While I was waiting for them to fix the brake, one of the owners gave me a tour of the shop. They service full size vehicles, do oil changes and work on everything big and small. Everyone hates getting vehicles and equipment worked on because you can never be sure if you’re getting treated fairly. I don’t have any concern about that with this business. These folks are just honest people trying to making a living for themselves and their families. Go see them.

Our car shut down while driving on highway and freaked us out. We had to stop by the shoulder on the I-45. We touched the battery and it restarted working. We wanted to make sure everything is okay so we came over. They did a very detailed test and checked the computer. They tightened the battery because it might be the issue. My friend actually just did some car service a week ago. They found out that the car service place didn’t close the air filter. He even helped change my friend’s key battery for free. Very nice people! Very professional! Highly recommended this local shop! (They even have been feeding cats!)
