The only place in town I'll take my bike! I recently had my 883 sportster converted to a 1200. Not only did they do the job quickly they dialed my bike in better than it has ever run! They won't charge you an arm and a leg either. Highly recommended!

I had to take my bike to a shop. I went "The Shop Parts & Things" Tallahassee, FL. Very good people and veteran friendly. Even with the shop being backed up. James (The owner) took the time to bring my bike in and look at it. He couldn't duplicate the problem so, No Charge. Yay! He went on to tell me it's probably the switch but, he doesn't want to throw parts at it so, he said if it did it again to bring it by anytime and he'll confirm the problem. I got his info and will be going there again.

Bring your bike here! Everyone at the shop truly cared about having my Harley back on the road. They had my bike in and out in two days, we’re up front about all pricing. Gave me a full service and complete carb rebuild. I brought them a electrical problem and they quickly figured it out. They were very open about if I have a similar electrical problem to drive immediately over so they can fix it again on the spot. I won’t be bringing my Harley anywhere else from now on!

I am having my 2002 Triumph Thunderbird repaired because it was backed over several years ago. James and his staff have done an excellent job of tackling all the problems associated with the bike. Casey does a great job in the front office and always greets everybody with a warm smile. I would recommend anyone who needs their bike repaired to go by and talk with James and you will be glad you did. All I can say is The Shop Parts & Things you Rock.

I have a Harley Davidson that had some issues that the dealership could not even fix for me. I found this shop and they are great. Doug is very knowledgeable and has a lot of parts on hand and went way far out of his way to take care of my bike. I will definitively be taking my bike back there if I have any more work to be done..

Kasey, the shop manager was very friendly and helpful. The owner, James, is the same. I needed new tires which I had ordered elsewhere but that shop was unable to work on my bike since it was past their 12 year regulation. James noticed a lot of changes the bike had from original and complemented on several of them. He said they would take about 2 hours of labor and they checked brake piston movement and charged my battery while they did the tire change and balance. Plus they soaked and lubed the chain and was ready plus they waited after closing for me to get there and settle the bill. All in all, I love the way it handles better with their balance method and the bike looks WAY cleaner and more aggressive 😁 thank y'all so much for the friendliness and professionalism and promptness and the pride I can see y'all take in your work JD Heuring

Before I dropped my 2011 GSXR-1000 off, I tried many shops in the Florida panhandle and they were unable to find the issue after spending hundreds and hundreds of dollars. RideNow of Tallahassee recommended that I go to JCL Customz so called them and arranged a drop off. Throughout the process, the Owner personally worked on my bike. He advised me that I had a fuel pump issue which wasn’t the primary issue but definitely one of the major issues contributing to the poor performance of the motorcycle. He sourced a fuel pump and regulator/non serviceable filter. Partzilla ended up not sending all the parts ordered and he was very patient and determined to get it the issue resolved. I was able to fall back and trust that he would take care of me, which he did. Once he finally got all the necessary parts in he asked and recommended me to allow him to ride it for 100 miles. This ended up being the smartest decision because on the hundredth mile it left him stranded. He was still resilient and determined to find the issue and reassured me that when I get the bike back, it will be fixed. He shipped my ECU off to Moore Mafia, since it had recently been tuned by them, to confirm it wasn’t a tuning issue and it wasn’t. He ordered a wiring harness and it turned out to be bad connectors/ throttle position sensor. Overall, he went above and beyond all of my expectations. He spent long days pulling the bike apart and putting it back together multiple times. He used up favors to get parts crucially needed in a timely manner. He even offered to trailer my motorcycle all to my Panama City. In the end, he ended up willing to take a bite on the amount of overhead cost and I am highly grateful. He spent a total of 34 hours in labor on my bike and it is finally fixed. Let’s just say he didn’t charge me 34 hours but we were able to come to an agreement on a price that was fair to both. If I had a million dollars I’d gladly give it to him lol. He was able to deliver on the promise and get my bike back fixed and just in time for the warm Florida weather. In conclusion, I highly recommend anyone in need of motorcycle maintenance, service, or custom applications go to JCL Customs. The customer service is top tier, communication and transparency is the best I’ve seen from ANY automotive repair shop in my life. HE WILL NOT LET YOU DOWN!!!! Thank you JCL Customs, I hope to not need you guys again (for major repairs) but if I do I know exactly who to call.

Great mechanics that still work on older Harleys. Labor rate lower than the dealer. The big thing that stood out was the honesty of the owner; that's a rare trait with mechanics, attorneys, and politicians. I highly recommend JCL Custom to anyone that is looking for work on their scoots.
