I was looking for someone specialized in BMW e30's and I could not have found a better place. Super impressed with the quality of the work and the expertise that Kevin has at KD Automotive. Kevin installed a new "z3" rack and Chase Bays power steering reservoir, and it is awesome. The shop also installed new rear axles, refreshed all seals on the rear diff, refreshed the emergency brakes, and even replaced the notorious "middle" and rear brake lines, including a hard line that had been completely stripped and I couldn't get off. That is not easy work on an e30, and KD Automotive took care of it all with no headache whatsoever. I drove away a very happy dude. Kevin also works on many PRO3 e30 cars and that experience certainly shows. I wouldn't hesitate to bring any of my vehicles to this shop, and if you're looking for an e30 shop, absolutely -- this is the shop for you!

Great communication, straight to the point, top tier work. After having multiple mobile mechanics not be able to fix my car, or fully diagnose, I finally took got a tow and took it in to KD for the first time. They were going on vacation next day, with the shop closing for over a week, and was very communicative about it being a bigger job than initially anticipated, and not wanting to rush. The car already sat for a few months so I really didn't mind, I was just personally elated that someone cared enough to not rush, possibly miss something, and end up having more work in the end. I got a call the day prior to when I thought they would be back, with full updates on what was wrong and exactly all the work that had to be put in just to get it to run. What an astounding surprise! After another day or so, my car was back running better than ever and they even cleared up some other misinformation from prior mechanics that made me feel more at ease. Very easy folk to talk to as well; you can tell they care about your vehicle like you do. 10/10 work, people, communication, and environment. Kudos to everyone at the shop!

I was very impressed with this shop! First, as a female I wasn't talked down to. He told me exactly what they were looking at and what was wrong. Secondly, it was very affordable. They aren't trying to overcharge on purpose or find things wrong that weren't there (ex: I thought I had suspension issues but they looked at it and told me I was fine). Lastly, they were super communicative. I ended up getting all my things (new tires with alignment, replaced gasket, transmission flush, oil change, and license plate bulbs) all same day as when they called to give me the quote. 10/10 will be going back for future needs!

I asked KD to run a diagnosis on my Honda CRV. I got a comprehensive result and paid a reduced amount from the initial quote, as Kevin recognized the process took a shorter time than expected. Transparency and honesty are some times rare in the car business. Kudos to Kevin and KD!

Kevin was very generous and specific with his inspection findings and recommendations. He discussed options, pros and cons of various choices, and gave me his honest opinions about the risks/benefits of the options available. Not pushy at all, he wanted me to know and understand, the choices, and choose the best option for my circumstances. . Kevin impressed me as being extremely knowledgeable and competent, gave me detailed information about the steps he took to do my job with a very high level of perfectionism. Plus he had a free loaner car for my use while my vehicle was being serviced for several hours. That was a great help, and very uncommon in my experience. My work was completed on time, for exactly the amount quoted (which was very reasonable, I got 3 bids). Friendly and polite and very professional service. I am impressed. Brakes felt GREAT when I used them on the drive home. I highly recommend KD Automotive!
