We were traveling through Arlington on the way to DC on a Friday. We hit a tire retread. It caused a bunch of warning lights to go on. Koons got me in right away and took care of my problem. They were honest and did not try to rip me off. They just presented the options. Mario was my advisor. Too bad I don't live in the DMV, they would get all my business.

I brought our 2023 Corolla in to Arlington Koons Toyota to fix the under engine cover, which had broken in half while driving on I-395 in a rain storm. It was dragging under left driver seat making a racket. After leaving it there overnight i was told we could order a new part for over $500, or they could attach it up so i could drive it. After picking the car up and driving 1/4 of a mile it fell and dragged again. I tried to price the part on line and could find none anywhere remotely near $500. Furthermore, before driving to the Alexandria Koons dealer where i was told they did not provide loaners, but rentals. i then called the Arlington store, where it was originally bought it, and asked if they provided loaners. I was told Yes. The only rentals Arlington Koons had was $88 a day. Outrageous. Next time I'll go to a repair shop that i can trust

Christian is truly a gem. My mom needed a ride back to Toyota and he arranged it immediately. Our entire correspondence was seamless, precise, professional and top notch service. He explained everything thoroughly about all the car issues my mom was having. We would def recommend him and in the future, we hope to work with him.

Car was damaged by their employee backing into another car. Received maybe 1 apology for this. Got a false text message about what I owed and was gaslit by an employee that swore the message wasn’t sent. Later on received a message that the first message was an accident. Next shuttle service requested never came so I called them and they had accidentally gone to DC instead of my home (but never called me to tell me). They have no rental car for me to use so my car has no timeline on when it will be fixed. I didn’t get an apology or any updates when I picked up my car. What is this service!! I will never go here again after they fix the hole in my car. Addendum: Arlington Koons did a great job fixing the car, providing a rental, and acknowledging their mistake in the matter.

I took my 2003 Camry in for a six-month oil change, emission inspection, and general checkup while I waited. Oscar came out to tell me that he suggested the brake fluid should be exchanged and the tires should be balanced. My 22-year old Camry has only 40,000 miles on it, so I cannot use Toyota's recommended servicing timelines. Rather, Oscar keeps my car safe and running by recommending what the car actually needs. A few hours after I arrived, everything was completed and I took my happy car home.

Toyota at Arlington VA 6 months chk up mileage slightly over 45,000 miles 2015 Toyota Corona Arrived at 7 am vehicle taken in shortly thereafter for serving. Was advised in detail what would be checked and approximate timeframe for work. Discount sheet I previously received reviewed and agreed to. I authorized work to be done. Person very detailed in explaining to me and kept hearing him do same with other customers. He was impressive. Hope Toyota Co Management appreciate his excellent work with Customers. This is my third visit. However this time was a bit disappointing, I went for regular service, change oil, tire rotation. And as per sticker on my vehicle battery, tires, and breaks check and good (assuming the green tick), the following day I opened up the hood to find dirty surfaces, and battery corrosion, which is not cleaned and not mentioned on the report/receipt.

This Service department damaged 2 wheels on my 2023 Toyota 4Runner 40th Anniversary after oil service and tire rotation. Oscar was unprofessional in handling this and made some sad accusations of our claims and said we were “nitpicking”. He also had us waiting 30 minutes without notifying us that the car was ready. We will now schedule service with my local Toyota service department to confirm if work was completed as expected. Still waiting for the service manager to contact us to discuss. Props to Mario for taking over due to Oscar’s unprofessional attitude towards the both of us. Pictures of damage coming soon.

The staff is very friendly, and the overall atmosphere and environment are of high quality—especially the free coffee service and the comfortable waiting area. What I appreciate the most is their ethics and professionalism: they never recommend unnecessary repairs. My vehicle was serviced at Koons Arlington Toyota on December 19, and I also purchased ToyotaCare Plus expecting professional service and accountability. Immediately after picking up my car, I heard a noise and discovered a large screw/bolt embedded deep in my tire. This damage was not present before service and clearly occurred while my vehicle was in your care. I have clear photos as proof. I reported the issue the same day. On December 20, I returned requesting a simple tire repair. Despite having an appointment and paying for ToyotaCare Plus, I was told nothing could be done and that I must return Monday or another day. When I asked if I would still have to wait three hours for the repair, the answer was YES. The staff told me it would take two to three hours, but I suggested and requested that since it was a small issue, I could wait about 30 minutes if they could do it. This request was refused. I want to note that I have been a loyal Koons customer for several years and have generally found many staff members helpful. However, this experience shows no accountability, poor management, and total disregard for customer time and safety. Waiting hours for oil changes or full maintenance makes sense, but waiting three hours for a 10–20 minute tire repair caused during your service is unacceptable. If appointments still require hours of waiting, then appointments are meaningless, and ToyotaCare Plus clearly provides no real priority or benefit. Extremely disappointing from an authorized Toyota service center.
