I took in my mazdaspeed3 for some work under my carmax warranty, and they were great to work with! they kept me updated, and tried to get my car back to me as quickly as they could, even when carmax was causing some delays.

Brought my car in for a simple intake swap. I brought my own part in for them to do. I would of done the job myself, but am moving to hawaii so all of my tools and jacks have been shipped. The job should of been 45 minutes at most for someone who has never done it before or has little experience. I specifically put on the request sheet to also flash the car on the access port to stage 1 plus 93. First the job was 280 dollars for 45 minutes of work, which is insanely expensive. Secondly they did not flash the accessport after installing the intake. Now it wouldn't necessarily hurt the car since it wasn't pushed hard in any way with them getting it out of the shop, but anyone who understands tunes would of definitely flashed the car before even moving it. They only got two stars due to the fact that the intake seems to be installed correctly ( I hope so for such a crazy price ).

I recently came in to the shop to have my vehicle dyno tested. I was told that it wouldn't take long to put it on after one of the guys came back from a test drive. Completely understandable, I was told at most an hour before it's thrown on the dyno. Well I waited and talked to my buddy there in the meantime, well about 3 hours later they finally pulled the original car off the dyno and started to do mine. The process and friendliness was great but the wait time was a little horrendous for 10 minutes of work. Will still come to have services done but I hope the wait time gets better.

I went to this shop to have my snorkel lights swapped out of my grill for my 2021 Dodge Charger. The place was amazing, price was great, and the customer service was incredible. Jivan did a fascinating job working on my car, it was cool to get to know both Brandy and James as well. Not only did I get my car service I end up with new information for decals, vinyls, as well as ceramics coating. I really appreciate the above and beyond treatment. I can not thank them enough! I even left out with anniversary presents for the wife! Really a one stop shop!

They have had my car for almost 8 years for an engine build. 1992 mr2 turbo. Long story short they blew it up and has been dodging my calls and has done nothing to help me get my car back and give me my money back. Stay away. They do not do good work and has ruined my car. Now I have to take them to court. 17,000.00 in cash was given to them and they have totaled my mint condition car. They are selling for 20 grand They also knew that my ttops were leaking and left it outside so they interior smells rotten. And they placed all their tools on top of the paint while they worked on it. Come to find out, they used my money to build his girlfriend car that also had an mr2 and had her car built and done in less than 6 months. All I got were excuses. Now they ignore me. STAY AWAY!!!!! They will do crappy work then charge you for it

I will always bring my car here from now on.. White smoke was coming from my exhaust in my Maxima(that I only had for 3 months prior) I took this car to 2 other so called mechanics, "Import auto pros" ( which made my car worse, drove car to DC, had beer cans in my car and cracked my windshield) and Jeremy Burkindine owner of "The Shop"(who put an engine in when it wasn't necessary) finally found LivAuto and fix my car with ease. Wish I would have known about them before I spent over 3000$!

I have a 2018 Ford Mustang GT with lot of work done to it. No one in my surrounding area could get this car aligned went to numerous shops to get it done. Was told I had to spend a ton of money to get it to where we need to be. I called LIVAuto and yeah, it’s 2 1/2 hours away from my house but boy am I happy I made the trip. I may have spent more than I was planning to, but it was still a lot less than it would’ve been to buy fabricated parts to get my vehicle aligned perfectly. Georgio and Damian Got me right and now my car is tight and straight. That was also the first time ever that I got to go on a test drive to make sure everything is good. Thanks again. Hope I don’t have to see you guys again but if anything happens I will make the trip to see them.

Super happy customer here. So I have a 2002 Honda S2000. I ended up buying a differential that was from a newer car and they modified the differential so that it would fit in my car and it works amazing and was able to get my car back the next day!!!! Also they helped me replace my electric power steering module free of charge and I now have power steering again. The part cost me 200 but IM FINALLY BACK BABY

I looked all over town for a place to mount tires for my vintage pickup truck that uses inner tubes. I could not find anybody that would do it until a friend recommended LIV auto. I spoke to Catherine and Giorgio and they were very helpful. The job was done within two hours. I highly recommend this shop for specialty type work that other others won’t touch.

Initially loved the shop, turned into a huge mess. I gave them my 350z, and specified when it needed to be done by. Multiple times. Cant stress that enough. I said I needed it done in about a five week timeframe. I was told everything would take three weeks to complete. Cool. Nope. I ended up picking my car up the day before I needed it. Brandy had to come in on a Saturday morning to give me my keys. In the entire five weeks, there was an insane lack of communication. "oh we will send you pictures" "Oh we will call you" here and there. Never once got any photos or phone calls. I always had to call and ask how things were going. Meanwhile, National Speed up in Richmond is sending my friend photos every hour, every step of the way giving him peace of mind and helping him understand the process I was completely left in the dark. Not to mention i'm 99% sure they blocked my phone number at one point, so i used my girlfriends phone and miraculously it worked! So, physically going to the shop and reminding them, i have an event coming up i need the car just wasn't enough. When I picked up my car, they weren't able to do the initial tune I was told i'd have, paint marker all over the car, and with a brand new clutch about to make a drive to Michigan I was very let down. But, I pushed that aside as people make mistakes. So i decided ON THE SPOT to give them another chance. I needed some small things done to my 98 240sx. Biggest being engine mounts. I picked up the Z to go on leave, and left the 240sx. By the time I came back two weeks later, still no word. Had some parts issue come into the mix where they ordered the wrong part, I already paid the invoice but weren't able to issue a refund. Only "store credit". But considering any shop owner can fluctuate the amount of money and "time" that goes into a vehicle, I highly believe that money was just straight up taken from me. So, I call again later to ask about my 240 and was told its ready to be picked up. How convenient. At this point ive literally forgot that i own the car, and called out of the blue and my car is ready? I pick it up, and theres black marks all over my car. Like someone has been throwing tires at it. Whether it is a 98 240sx, or a 2018 R35, nobody's car should be treated like that, so I was highly upset. I got called back because they "forgot to put in the engine mounts". What?!?!? After going BACK and telling them about the mysterious marks, they offered me $500 off of a new paint job. The worst paint job i've ever seen in my entire life. My TE37's are COVERED in primer. My dad rattle canned his Porsche 944 and had better results. I didn't want to go that route and have it properly done but here we are. Paint all over the windows, headlights, tail lights, and hand prints on black plastic on the car. Insane. I texted pictures to brandy hoping for any type of resolution. Maybe even for just the wheels. "I told James". Nothing since, and honestly don't expect anything. Ive given this shop over $10,000 of my money, and I have been left severely disappointed. Twice. Now I feel shame to go to cars and coffee, but ill be at every one for sure, might as well. Recommend National Speed. They're also opening a shop in Norfolk here soon.

This shop is downright amazing. They do great quality work and have an amazing staff on hand. I've been having issues with my car lately and I called around and visited a few shops in the area with not many could help and a few refused to help me due my setup. They had openings for me and were able to accommodate me and my schedule which was much appreciated. They provide much more services than I expected. They do exhausts, alignments, window tint, mounting and balancing tires, tunes, custom fab work. They are truly a one stop shop and I look forward to getting more work done from them in the near future. They definitely earned my business and I'll be referring my friends here for sure.
