Horrible experience. Feels like this place is a complete scam. Tried to charge me $2000 for an emergency light that came on during inspection when I have never seen it come on. Then tried to convince us to buy a new car on this basis. When that didn't happen, they charged for the inspection which they didn't pass the car, AND another $170 for checking the problem that they made up. Oh, I also got the inspection finally completed at another place, and there was nothing wrong with the car, especially not to the tune of $2000. Which they said they'd knock off if we would trade in for a new car. AND they said they'd give us $80 trade-in value. What a bunch of scammers. Stay away.

They lured me into purchasing 2 oil changes for the price of one, I was told I could use this deal in two different vehicles and they didn't honor what they said, I had to go to a new dealership To get regular service done on my other vehicle. I've been to 3 different Toyota dealerships in DFW and this one has been the best experience so far. They've answered my calls promptly and Marco was great throughout the whole experience. My Rav 4 threw a engine service code for a bypass valve failure. He looked it up immediately to check if it was covered (the 2019 & 2020 Ravs have had regular bypass valves failures), which thankfully it was and we got my car scheduled. It only took 3 hours to get my car completed, which included the bypass valve replacement, oil change, and car wash. He also immediately sent me a Lyft to get me to the dealership when my car was ready. The oil change was accidental (I didn't request it to be done, there was a slight miscommunication) and upon realization it was fully compensated. I very much appreciate Marco and how kind and helpful he was. The staff is friendly, they get your car done quickly, and they didn't try to upsell me anything like some dealerships have done to me in the past. Highly recommend Toyota Lewisville!

I am going anonymous for my safety. I recently took my vehicle to Lone Star Toyota of Lewisville for a diagnostic on a minor electrical issue. I was absolutely shocked when they presented me with a quote for over 3000$. They claimed that the entire system needed to be replaced and insisted there was no other way to safely fix the car. Feeling like I was being taken advantage of, I sought a second opinion at a highly-rated local independent shop. It turns out the 'major' issue was completely fixable for $400$. Lone Star Toyota tried to charge me over 3000 in unnecessary parts and labor for a repair that an honest mechanic handled professionally in one afternoon. This service department is either dangerously incompetent or intentionally predatory. It’s clear they would rather exploit their customers for massive profit than offer common-sense, affordable solutions. If you don't want to be scammed, avoid this place at all costs. I will never bring a vehicle back here again. And also will never buy Toyota for sure in my future.
