Brought in my grey Tacoma that I wrecked, they made it look like new in no time! No evidence of the wreck remained and the paint matched perfectly!

Avoid them at all cost... Worst customer service and your time means nothing the bulbs were rewired wrong in my taillight and your illustrious staff would not take the time to look or admit they did a poor job. For 6 months I had no idea it was wired wrong until one of the bulbs went bad and had to replace one and found them reversed as well as in the wrong locations taking time to investigate the situation would have been appropriate. Update on prior work went today to have the entire car painted and found the paint used for repairs was not Toyota paint but cheaper brand as well as the clear coat which wasn't applied correctly now everything they painted must be sanded to the metal correctly prepared then use properly applyed they don't know that means that I have to redo there poorly done eork

Brought my project Nova in to get a look at and so far I'm not disappointed. Ended up leaving it there to start paint and body. Staff was super friendly and really understood what I was going for. It's one of the cleanest automotive shops I've seen by the way. Lisa was awesome to work with and everyone I met wanted to talk cars and ideas. Would recommend anyone wanting body work done to stop by and chat with them.

These guys really came through for me when I needed it the most! My rear quarter panel was grazing the tire due to an accident and it was a safety issue. I called when they opened on a Friday and within 2 hours they fixed it! They squeezed me in even with a busy schedule. I can't thank you enough!

Chip and his team repaird my 2016 Chevy Silverado that had some pretty extensive front end damage. They identified several issues others had missed, and we're able to get to work almost immediately. My truck is pretty much like a third daughter to me, so having them take such good care of her was monumentally important. They stayed in touch with me regularly and I couldn't have asked for a better job. Highly highly highly recommend!!!!

I’d recommend a Lowcountry Paint & Body to anyone. I called and they had me a quote on the same day, compared to three other places in town that were a month wait or longer for just a quote. They ordered the part and had it installed within two weeks. I would still be waiting on a quote if I went elsewhere. Great work, great staff!

Preformed body work on my ‘62 Dodge Panel Truck. It was a tough job that not many other shops would even consider touching and Chip and his team knocked it out of the park. Very nice office staff and technicians.

After I had my accident Chip told me to take my worry hat off and they would get everything fixed. They did this and my car looks new again. I don’t believe you will find a better place to take your vehicle to be fixed or completely restored. Thank you all for what you did for me. 👍

Chip and his team are great to work with. He stands by the work he does and is very customer oriented and always wants the customer to be satisfied with the work he and his team have done. The work he has done for me is outstanding. Always willing to talk to you on the phone or in person when you drop in to see him. Great experiences with Chip and his team.

Taking my Toyota Landcruiser to Lowcountry Paint, Body & Restoration was one of the worst vehicle-related service experiences I’ve had in 30 years of owning and driving cars. My beloved ‘85 FJ60, Blue, was not starting after sitting in a neighbor’s garage over the wet, humid Charleston summer and had suffered some door damage as as result of being pushed down the street by said neighbor (don’t ask). Chip agreed to take the truck, diagnose the starting issue and perform the door repair. My insurance company would pay for the body work and I’d cover whatever else was necessary to return her to her previous “running strong” condition. The shop installed a new clutch assembly and had the truck running but were struggling with the door and getting her shifting properly (all this communicated over the phone and doesn't inspire confidence). When I picked the truck up over two months later, Blue was filthy inside and out but was running and shifting ok. The door work, however, was not complete. Not only was the door not sitting flush with the frame, they had not reattached the door catch. I found this out the hard way by simply opening the door, which swung completely free to its terminus and with metal on metal at the hinge, promptly damaged the finish. The electrical had also been cut/not reconnected so the speaker in that door was out plus the dome light switch was missing. There had also been something sprayed on or around the truck; the entire body and all glass was coated in something that I could not only feel but created an impossible glare on the windshield in full sun, making the truck inoperable in daytime. As I had already paid Chip a large sum for this work, I was reasonably upset. I’d have to find a ride back up to North Charleston to follow me for a ride home, and vice versa whenever the work was actually finished properly. Chip said he’d make it right and so back to Lowcountry we went. Another month goes by. I check with Chip and he replies “not yet working it in.” Since when is finishing a repair you’ve already started and taken compensation for not the priority? Two months later, she’s ready. I find yet another friend to take time out of his day and give me a ride. Chip says the key is in the lockbox. There’s a Landcruiser key in the lockbox, but it’s not mine. It’s about 4:30pm on a Friday and we’re hoping to beat traffic home. I text Chip and he tells me that’s my key. It’s most definitely not and after several more texts, he agrees to come back to the shop. When he arrives, Chip storms over, takes these keys and tries to start Blue. Which obviously doesn’t work. Flustered, he disappears into the office for ten minutes. Finally emerges telling us that a tech “accidentally took my key home with him.” I can’t make this up. Tech has to drive down from Ladson, another half hour wasted just sitting in this dusty parking lot. Chip leaves without a single apology. Finally get my key. Get home and realize they still never re-connected the dome-light actuator and the part is missing and will need replaced. I could never recommend going to Lowcountry Paint, Body & Restoration for any reason whatsoever.

What a JOKE, We have done at least 7 Major Repairs with them and this last one was a FIASCO. They had our car for 6 weeks and never touched it because they refused to speak to our adjuster. Just terrible communication, and embarrassing customer service. Just frustrated beyond reason with their service and communication.

Had lots of problems at the first place I took my vehicle (Jones Ford Collision) Chip saved me the headache once I got it from the lying first place I took it to (Jones Ford) He had me up and fixed in no time and handled the insurance company for me! My car is restored to its original condition (but really looks brand new again) Thank you Low Country Paint & Body! Would highly recommend your place and I'll never go anywhere else!

These guys, led by Chip Keller are hacks. If you value your vehicle, DO NOT take it to this place. Overall, the work was sloppy and unprofessional at best. Just a few examples: to remove the rusty exhaust pipes, they cut the bolts on the exhaust manifold instead of just cutting off the old pipes. This misstep later led to an expensive trip to the machine shop to repair the damage. The doors were way out of adjustment, causing the need to slam the doors to get them closed. Also, the paint on the door edges and body became chipped because of the maladjustment. To fix this problem later, the fenders had to be pulled forward to access the door hinges, causing the excessive bondo to break. A proper adjustment before painting the car would have avoided this problem altogether. The paint job itself was of such poor quality, that it will need to be completely repainted. What bothers me the most about my experience with Low Country Paint Body & Restoration is that my classic car was treated like a piece of junk during the 3-month stay at this shop. At times I stopped by the shop to check on the progress and found the car with food or drinks laying in the trunk or on the roof. I had to point out what I thought were obvious defects that weren’t getting fixed, always getting excuses and requests for more money. When I did get the car back, I had to spend hours cleaning up all the dirt and dust that had built up in every nook and cranny of the car. No care was taken to protect the car from the dust and debris that permeated the shop. When I picked up the car, it was covered with thick dust over the new paint. Their remedy was to wash the car using a hose & a long-handled brush (ugh). Since there were no door or trunk seals, water seeped in causing the inner trunk paint to wash off in big blotches. There wasn't one panel on the car that didn't have blemishes. The roof was under-sprayed with color and the grey primer shows through. I was a fool to take my car to Lowcountry Paint Body and Restoration. Please don't make the same mistake I did.

I can’t say enough great things about Low Country Paint, Body & Restoration! I took my mother’s car there after it was involved in a parking lot hit-and-run. My past experiences with auto body shops have made me cautious—I've had “national chain” shops return vehicles with shoddy workmanship, and dealer collision centers charge so much I wondered if I was paying for their fancy furniture and espresso machines. Since I didn’t want to file an insurance claim, I needed a business known for quality work and honest pricing. At Low Country Paint, Body & Restoration, I found exactly that—no fluff, no oversized waiting rooms, no clueless counter staff. Instead, I met a team that was friendly, engaging, and most importantly, knowledgeable. The owner, Chip, personally inspected the vehicle, explained the damage, gave me a clear timeline, and quoted a fair price. True to their word, they flawlessly repaired and returned the car right on schedule and at the exact quoted price. It’s rare these days to find a shop that delivers both integrity and top-notch craftsmanship. I highly recommend Low Country Paint, Body & Restoration to anyone looking for honest, high-quality auto body repair.

Excellent service and outstanding quality! I had my car painted at Lowcountry Paint Body & Restoration, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. From the very beginning, the customer service was excellent — professional, friendly, and attentive to every detail. The quality of the paint work is top-notch. The finish looks amazing, smooth, and perfectly matched, truly showing their experience and dedication to craftsmanship. They took the time to make sure everything was done right, and the final result exceeded my expectations. If you’re looking for a body shop that delivers high-quality work, great attention, and honest service, this is the place to go. Highly recommended!

Basically I had to pay Chip $5,400 dollars to get my 67 Camaro that was totaled by State Farm back. We had a verbal agreement. He refused the pickup State Farm sent on January 30th. And charged me for storage after the fact. He 🙏 on it and gave me a discount that he didn’t charge the insurance company, which was double for inside storage. Tear down fees was taking the fenders and hood off the car. Thank you Chip , Seems to be a bit shady in my opinion
