We’d been going to another local shop for several years, but recently found that they kept missing things, resulting in return trips, extra costs, etc. I decided to try Meineke because the reviews looked good and it’s fairly close to home. On our first appt., they provided a clear breakdown of all the issues they found (with pictures), and explanations about causes and potential effects, and urgency. After figuring out what we needed to have done they completed the work quickly and actually saved us money when they realized that one of the issues originally indicated wasn’t a problem after all. We since taken our other cars in and have been very happy with the service and the transparency. I would highly recommend this shop.

Pretty disappointed in the pricing/quote process with this location. We took our Jeep in for some undercarriage issues and were told $600 would be the cost. We OK’d the quote and thanked them for finding a solution. When we went to pick up the car, we were charged nearly $120 over the original quote. The additional cost came from “shop fees” and the diagnostic. Neither of these fees were explained in the initial quote (that we originally approved of) and we were never called about the uptick in price before they moved forward with anything that would require that additional cost. We haven’t experienced this issue at other local Meineke stores — so this was pretty disheartening, especially around the holidays when everyone is trying to make their money count. I highly suggest looking at other local shops instead for your repair/maintenance needs and definitely checking in multiple times about the original quote. Don’t get blindsided at this location like we did.

I highly recommend Meineke on Chinden Blvd. Boise Idaho. The staff is very professional, helpful and they don't B.S. you. Took care of my Truck and wife's car went above and beyond expectations from the company. If you need work done go there ask for Aaron he's a very honest guy and will make sure you leave there happy. I want to thank the entire staff at Meineke Car Care Center for the service they performed on my Lincoln LS yesterday morning. I had a cracked coolant bottle that needed to be replaced. I had purchased the coolant bottle on Ebay at an amazing price but there was no way that I could put the new coolant bottle in the car by myself. There service was very reasonable for what they had to do just to get to the coolant bottle. They did this within the time stated and of course changed the oil as requested as well. I still need to address other things on the car, but im stoked to have this item fixed which makes it drivable. Good job guys. I thank you!

Have always had great experience with Meineke. In this last case, had an oil change from another provider and the oil filter had catastrophic failure (I should have went to Meineke). Meineke replaced the filter quickly and did not charge for labor. Simply, amazing. I will never go anywhere else!
