One of the best shops on Staten Island — hands down. Steve, Chris, and their entire team went above and beyond when working on the exhaust system of my 1999 Mustang GT. Not only did they handle the job with precision and care, but while working on the vehicle, they also identified a few additional issues. Steve promptly called to explain what they found, gave me a clear understanding of the situation, and assured me they would address everything while the car was already on the lift — saving me both time and hassle. Took my Ram 1500 in for the infamous exhaust manifold leak. Looked around for a while and no mechanics wanted to touch it. What a waste of time. This is the second time I've called to schedule, and when I got there, no one even bothered to see if I needed anything. Then, after asking three different people, I found out it would be at least an hour before they could even see me. What's the point of calling and scheduling if they're not ready to see you?

I brought my 2005 Toyota Avalon in last week with a pesky exhaust leak that was making the ride noisy and worrying me about emissions. The team at this Meineke location on Forest Ave were absolute pros from the jump – they got me in right away without an appointment, gave a straight-up estimate right away for the pipe replacement and seals, which beat quotes from other shops, and explained everything in plain English without the upsell nonsense. The work was done in under two hours, when it was done the car purred like new – no more hissing or fumes creeping in. They’ve got a solid setup here on Forest Ave, easy parking, and the waiting area is comfy with free Wi-Fi if you need to kill time. Been a loyal customer for years now at another location , and this exhaust job just reinforces why: honest, efficient, and fairly priced. If you’re on Staten Island and need exhaust or muffler work, skip the chains and come here. Highly recommend – 5 stars all day!

I had to get a engine filter installed. I went to them before and it was the same A1 service. I am a repeat customer. Fri, May 10 2024 I came back to get my thermostat replaced once again they gave me great customer service. I am a repeat customer. Fri, Sept 19 2024 I went there for an oil change as always A-1 service. Fri, June 6 2025 I had to get new Sway Bars and Links installed they did a great job the CSR: Chris is always pleasant when I stop in I highly suggest them if you need basic maintenace on your vehicle. Once again, Chris and his team exceeded my expectations. My coolant reservoir had a crack in it and was leaking. I came in today, not expecting to have my car back until Monday. Not only did he get the replace part earlier than expected, but his team installed it quickly. My vehicle was ready at closing time - Chris even waited past closing for me to arrive so that I could have my car back same day.
