I never take the time to write reviews let alone negative ones but I just thought I’d take the time to because they caused me a couple of weeks of stress that could have easily been avoided. I went in for an oil change and when they were done they told me that they had found an oil leak that could only be repaired by replacing the turbo charger and several other tubes. They quoted me at $3700 worth of damages and I thought it wasn’t a good idea to drive my car until I got that worked out. I ended up going to a different repair shop and they told me that everything was perfectly fine, just that whoever had done the oil change hadn’t replaced the cap properly. I don’t know if they were trying to scam me or if they are just that ignorant but I recommend you go somewhere else and save yourself the hassle.

So, I went in to get the relay for the blower motor fixed ended up needing the whole bit replaced. They did the work, but getting the piece into the shop is poorly managed. What my uncle told me is at most a 45 minute job took about 4 hours. This wasn't the store's fault but is an inefficiency in process. While I was there, they ran out of a common oil filter. If everyone's making appointments, wouldn't it make sense to order most of the parts ahead of time then send back excess? Seems like that could be something to fix systemically to provide quicker service. They were under the estimate, but still quite a bit more than Amazon quotes the parts for. Oh well, I have cool and hot air again. Everyone was friendly, and the assistant manager ended up going to get my part once it was discovered they only had one guy driving parts around from the warehouse. That was good.

Replaced my brakes with them in June over $1200. I now return to a different location for them to tell me that I need another $900 worth of brake services. I will be going to Les Schwab, they use quality parts and also provide excellent customer service. The other location in Renton was very nice but also were the ones who informed me that Everett used cheap parts that they never would. I will not recommend and will never be back!

Went in for an oil change, had a coupon. States 29.99 but also 20$ bucks off synthetic oil. I didn't realize so I guess that's my bad. They were done faster then they said they would be. For now it seems okay, nothing feel off or broke. Lol! I'll update the more I go.

I was here to get my car serviced and I’d say this is a very quant place to get maintenance but I couldt shake the neglected feeling they have an employee by the name Adrian he was absolutely just not doing his job, I was told he would be helping me out so I waited and waited he just kept coming out the door to the garage and walking back to lobby didt address me even when I tried to get his attention up until I found the manager he said he was sorry and that he’d have him apologize( he didt) he kept just talking with another employee there about things you should not talk about at work or in public and I was disgusted absolutely will not be coming back here but just goes to show how one persons ignorance can cause trouble for everyone else :(

James was rude and acts unprofessionally, like he carries his personal problems in his work place! i would not like to deal with him in the future and would take all my 3 vehicles to be serviced elsewhere!

Before the rainy season, I took my Nissan Rogue truck for service at the Everett branch, they did the inspection and details came out that I didn't know it had, I changed the oil, the brakes and other details that they suggested. It was a long wait, but in the end the work turned out very well. Later I decided to take another Chevrolet truck for inspection and maintenance. Good service, you have to call first to have an appointment.

Called to make an appointment and was interrupted several times over the phone by the manager James while trying to explain what I was coming in for. Scheduled an appointment, had to reschedule, figured that made us even on the interrupting. Went in to have a diagnostic check since my brake lights were not working, and was told my master cylinder needed to be replaced, and they would also replace my brakes since they were worn down. Was quoted $1000 with the understanding that my brake lights would be fixed, and James ordered the parts and was on the phone telling me this while I was sitting waiting. Had already been sitting there for 1.5-2 hours, so I needed to make another appointment to have the work done. Dropped my car off Monday being told it would be done by end of day. Not only did they have to keep my car overnight after I was told that it would be done within four to five hours, they kept it most of today as well after I was told it would be done by 10am. When I went to go pick up my car at 3pm, my brake lights were not fixed. I was told it was ME who had misunderstood and they told me upfront that they would not be messing with the original wiring issue I CAME INTO THE STORE TO HAVE FIXED. Why on earth would I spend $1000 to not fix the issue at hand? While I was explaining this to the manager James, he AGAIN interrupted me and refused to acknowledge responsibility for the issue. But apparently I should be grateful there was a $50 coupon added for brakes since that was “all he could do for the inconvenience”. Asked for whoever his boss is, and he refused to give me the contact information for them since “the owner doesn’t deal with customers”. So, if you would like to waste $1000 and three days of your time, I’d recommend getting your work done here. EDIT: they also left a filthy, wet, shoe protective mat in my car which I didn’t discover until I got INTO IT. So glad they had the extra time having it overnight to make sure it was at least cleaned out of their stuff before I got it back broken.

I came here for an oil change and had a great experience! The staff was friendly and professional, and the technician who returned my keys explained everything my car needs in a clear and honest way. I really appreciated how informative and respectful they were. Highly recommend the Midas on Everett Mall Way. I’ll definitely be back and will tell my friends too!

Avoid this place - Pretty shady practices. I asked if someone could take a quick visual check over my vehicle after a slight accident and they said sure. No discussion or anything so I assumed it was a courtesy check. No mention of cost at all but they tried to have me sign a piece of paper with no discussion about it. Luckily I checked what I was signing and they tried to charge me about $165 just to take a look. I of course declined. I observed the shop manager being completely rude to multiple staff members too which was unprofessional. There's a reason why reviews are low at this location. Avoid at all cost!

I needed a headlight bulb replacement: I inquired about a same day appointment through the website, choosing the time that works best for me. I entered the make, model and year of the car to save time. I got a phone call back within minutes from James to set it up. Very friendly, courteous and helpful assistance over the phone and also in person a couple of hours later. I chose to wait while the work was being done, and I was pleasantly surprised at the cool comfortable waiting room on this hot summer day. With a welcoming invitation to help myself to the coffee or water, I sat myself down in a comfy yet classy chair and enjoyed a classic old episode of "Bonanza" playing on the TV. Within the hour, my car was done, even with having to order an extra part which was delivered within minutes of placing the order. Amazing! My time is limited to get these important things taken care of with the car, so I appreciated the quick friendly, efficient and honest service by the staff. Highly recommend this location of Midas.

Midas charged me for a brake check when I went in for an oil change, but they never told me it would cost extra. If I had known, I wouldn’t have done it—other auto shops check brakes for free.

I went here for oil change today. Full synthetic oil change will cost you around 90 with out coupon . If you want to use coupon take paper print out from official Midas website to get 20$ discount for full synthetic oil change . Service was quick and efficient. It’s better to book an appointment in advance for any service including oil change . Prices are reasonable. Front desk joe is very friendly and helpful

Dropped off my car for oil change, service was quick and efficient. But manager Joe behavior was rude. His attitude towards customers is not warm. Asst manager James was patient and helped understanding service details, cost etc. They will only do wheel alignments for older cars before 2015. They should consider cars after 2015 as well.

I’ve been going to this place for the last few years just for the basics. Oil change, tire rotation, etc. I started noticing issues with the car kind of bouncing when I shifted. Next thing I knew, my tire light went on. I took a look at it and could hear it hissing so figured I must’ve hit a nail or something. I’d go get it patched while I get an oil change too. Turns out the treads were worn ALL the way down on the inside of the back tires. It was crazy. It’s a miracle I didn’t have a blowout. The last time I was in there for a 5000 mile oil change and tire rotation they told me my tires had a good amount of life on them. There’s no way this happened over 5k miles. I immediately took it to a different shop to get a new set. Based on the wear pattern, they said there’s no way these tires were rotated during those services. It makes me sick to write this. Nice guys over there but that’s just ridiculous.

Midas should do the right thing and give me a refund. I went in for an oil change, and my check engine light started flashing. They changed the oil but ignored the flashing light. My car was still stalling and wouldn’t go over 25 mph, so I went back multiple times. Each time they sent me away without fixing the issue. They eventually told me I needed a new coil and spark plugs, kept my car for the weekend after I’d already waited nearly five hours, and still didn’t fix the problem. When I picked it up the next week, they admitted they didn’t know what was wrong and told me to go to the dealership. The dealership immediately found the issue: Midas had installed the wrong coil and spark plugs! When I asked Midas for a refund, I was bounced around between staff. The manager, Terry, never called me back, even though I was promised a call back the following morning. I had to call back and finally spoke with Terry, who let me know he couldn’t help me get a refund, the owner, James, had to be the one. James has also never contacted me. This location showed incompetence, poor communication, and zero accountability. I’m extremely frustrated and would not trust them with my vehicle again. In my opinion, they clearly don’t care about their customers, their quality of work, or their customers’ safety. I would give Midas in Everett negative stars if I could. Do not risk taking your vehicle there!

I went in to replace the belt on my Mazda of Everett. I waited 30 minutes for Adrian because he arrived late. When he finally showed up, he gave me a receipt but did not explain anything. All he said was that the car would be ready in 45 minutes. When I came back, I was told the total would be $610, which was double what my dealer had quoted me. I immediately said no and explained that if I had known they were going to do an inspection or charge that much, I would not have wasted my time—especially since I had just been to the dealer. When I asked for my keys, Adrian handed me a bill for $52.75. I told him I was not paying that. He said I signed paperwork, but nothing was explained to me—no inspection, no additional charges, nothing. Again, all I was told was that the car would be ready in 45 minutes. I asked to speak to a manager. He said he was the manager. I then asked for someone above him, and he refused. The entire interaction was rude, and the situation was handled very unprofessionally. I do not recommend this place. It felt like they were trying to take advantage of me and get money without clear communication or consent.

Had a great initial experience with Midas in Canada, than got stuck with these people. First of all, nobody was rude in any way so coodos for that, but y’all were going to pull a fast one on us so others be aware of this. Went to get a tire covered under warranty. Took it in on a Friday, and on Monday we were good to go. All of a sudden later that monday I got a call with a 1200$ charge for my rim and a new tire. They couldnt find the tire I had so they were just going to put a different one on and charge me without saying anything or covering it with the warranty. It took until the 4th phone call asking for clarifications that one of the staff happened to mention this. On top of that, the rim was going to be charged at 900ish$ when we could have brought it new from Hinda for under 700$. The staff said we weren’t allowed to do this. I called Midas in Bothell and the one that serviced me in Canada, both said it is outrageous for this Midas to refuse an aftermarket rim (even though this was OEM from Honda) since they put tires on after market rims all the time. One of the staff out right said they are doing something not right there. Never taking a vehicle to a USA location again.
