Had 8:00 am appt. The guy didn’t show up til 8:23, he walked around like he was sleep walking. I told guy at desk to pull out my truck please. Was very rude!! Bad experience! Never will go back there!!!!

I've had work done by these guys in the past. New tires, oil changes, tire rotations. All on my 2013 Mercedes C300. I asked for an estimate to have a CV axle replaced, I bought the part from a reputable supplier and wanted to know how much they would charge to install the part. I was told they don't install customers parts. Turning down business during this time is either extremely foolish or extremely cautious. I'm not sure which. However, I'll say this. Don't purchase your own parts and ask them to install them. They also said they would suggest I go to the Mercedes dealership to have the part installed...Do I even need to explain why I'm not doing that?

I came here for a SIMPLE thing which was to get my tire changed I turned my vehicle in with NO lights on my dashboard and my car was return to me it had 3 different lights on traction , steering wheel and abs. I came and they look at my car and seen my abs sensor had no power and said my car is “old” is that is bond to happen in car I have a 2017 Honda straight out the dealership a year ago under 100,000 miles my car was suppose to be returned the same way it was recovered not with MORE problems they don’t want to pay for none of the damage I went to Honda because they asked to get a quote on how much it will be to get fixed its a 1000 $ fix and they except to pay for something they did this is poor customer service they are not taking accountability for their actions and then leave me with more issues on my car they are HORRIBLE won’t recommend AT ALL I’m very upset been going back and forth with this company since last week been driving my car with all these lights this is not what I came to this place for and this is very sad to not own up to your mistakes and leave someone else with them .

A little over a year ago I had brakes done on my Hyundai Kona . A week ago I was hearing a whining noice coming from one of my front wheels. It turns out I had a bad wheel bearing and my front breaks were bad. The manager at the New York Mills Monro suggested that I have the dealer check out the bearing which I did . Happens that it was covered under warranty. I went back to Monro and the manager Joseph covered my brakes under warranty as well. There are honest people out there who don't take advantage of their customers.

Highly recommend! I walked in a bit early and the girl at the counter started filling out my information immediately. Then she went and did the first part of the inspection herself. A gentleman finished up the inspection and during this time, the girl at the counter and i had a wonderful conversation. It was nice to feel welcome and not ignored. It was a rather quick job and it was all set to go. Also, they were very honest about recommendations for my car. Thank you to this great team!

I came in for a simple tire change, but when I got my car back, it had three warning lights on the dashboard: traction control, steering, and ABS. When I brought it to their attention, they claimed the ABS sensor had no power and that it was because my car is "old." I drive a 2017 Honda, which I bought brand new a year ago, and it has under 100,000 miles. My car should've been returned in the same condition it was in when I dropped it off, not with new issues. Now they refuse to cover the damage, and I had to go to Honda for an estimate to fix it—it'll cost $1,000. Their refusal to take responsibility for their mistake is incredibly poor customer service. I've been dealing with this for over a week now, driving with these warning lights on, and I'm extremely frustrated. This place has caused more problems than it solved, and I would not recommend them at all. It's disappointing that they won’t own up to their mistakes and are leaving me to deal with the consequences.

Well. Go in trying to have 4 tires mounted and balanced not 1 car in or out side just a women can't say working but playing on her phone and me along with 2 other customers get told I can't do it that it's unsafe well gotta say what is the point of being open and having a useless employee ther then drive over after calling to hear that what a absolute joke only these kids can turn a 200 job down to play candy crush way to go Monroe won't ever b coming back

You know why you got this review as 1 star. I took an appointment online for an oil change and tire rotation at around 70$ Then charged for things I did not ask for and should have been complimentary if it was not asked for. Tires never rotated and over-charged with bs excuses as to why. ———————————————- Update: 03/03/2026 New Management? GREAT JOB!!!!! -Different car 2015 Mini S -Voiced past concerns -Amazing diagnosis and response time -The front-desk employee was very professional Honestly GREAT customer service! Pep-Boys could learn a little bit about customer service from Monro. Just saying friends. I’ll add photos and updates once the repairs have been completed.

Completely wasted my time. Scheduled an appointment for a state inspection for my vehicle. I schedule that with plenty of time and yet when I get there I am told that they don't have somebody there to do the inspection. No call, or heads up so that I could possibly schedule it elsewhere or reschedule. Definitely not going to be coming back. Can't tell you about the quality of work since they did no actual work

BE AWARE, Not sure what happened but this shop went downhill quick. Oil changes went up an extra $30 when other shops are still the same. Tried to have us get a part replaced for well over $$1100.00 and went to another shop that did it for $389. Claimed an alignment would need to be done when no steering parts were even touched. Very sketchy place now and we used to use them all the time. No wonder they cannot keep employees. Guess the corporate quotas are important as is squeezing every penny out of your pocket. Not recommended at all, they will screw you over. I also heard them complaining about customers to other employees as they got off the phone with them. No wonder Monroe is in Financial trouble. Would be Zero starts if it was an option. They used to be good but the good manager left and you can tell.
