Outstanding service as usual. Folks are kind and good at their jobs. Suburu sends updates to your phone as they work on your vehicle. Waiting area we'll appointed.

Had all the warning lights on the dashboard come on. Dropped the car off and it took over a month to get the car back. Meanwhile the service department provided a no cost loaner vehicle that softened the pain of the long repair. All work was covered by warranty and the service department. Concerned that the engine had problems but the service department made things right.

My car needed some warranty work, recall fixes, and heat shield correction. Vinny G. and Tim M. were amazing taking my list of concerns, keeping me in the loop about what was covered and what was not. They took care of me and my car quickly, explained everything clearly, and made sure I left a happy customer.

I took my car in for an oil change and inspection, I also had the tires rotated. They charged me for the inspection and tire rotation. Turns out they either forgot to change the inspection sticker or didn’t do it at all. They first told me that they would mail out the sticker after a week and a half a sticker for the oil change arrived. When I called back I was informed that they couldn’t actually send me the inspection sticker the solution was for them to pick up my car from work and drive it 55 miles one way do the inspection and drive it back to my place of work adding mileage to my car. No very helpful.

They follow the paperwork of what you say instead of doing a full diagnostic test on your vehicle then they charge you an. Armored leg for parts that you know, and you have in your car for them. Take their parts and change it and you have to pay for it. It's not fair to the customer to pay for something that did not fix the problem. In the first place. If you have a problem with a Subaru, it is good to take it to your local garage and have them go through it and see then take it to Subaru if they can't figure it out. But just be careful. You don't get ripped off.

While your service rep was very helpful and friendly, Computer issues caused delays acquiring the loner car. Undercoating and paint protection was applied and car was returned on schedule. With the noted exception the service experience was excellent.

The service employee was very helpful and did everything he could to take care of my issue. I had a cruise control error that could not be located. When driving at highway speeds the cruise would set at random speeds well below the speed I was traveling. In order to reset the cruise I had to turn the car off and back on. They could not figure out what was causing the error and specifically noted that I had this problem before my warranty period lapsed.

Had a issue with my 2024 Outback. They got me right in and resolved the problem. I even had a loaner/rental car for half a day. Unfortunately, the problem was the evaporative emissions computer system. I had left the car running while filling with gasoline at a gas station. That "popped a code" and cost me almost $200 (NOT UNDER WARRANTY) to learn a lesson that few understand. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR SUBARU RUNNING WHILE RE-FUELING! I found out the hard way and it cost me. The Service Department staff and Techs are very professional and personable! I recommend these folks for service!

I was greeted by a friendly woman at the desk, she took my info and the car, I sat and had a snack and water they provided. My car was done in less than an hour. Very fast service for an oil change and tire rotation. She explained everything the checked and also did a video state inspection at my request. I was very satisfied!!! Great service!

Good luck getting ahold of anyone here. I had a very difficult time scheduling service because they never answered the phone. Tried leaving messages (3 to be exact) and no one would call back. I finally had to just drive there 30 mins and walk in and make my appointment. Made an appointment on a Monday for Wednesday morning…showed up Wednesday and they didn’t even have the appointment in the system. Luckily for me I guess they were able to fit me in. Then found out the “loaner vehicle” the service manager told me would be available, turned out to be a $50 a day rental. I guess maybe that was just a misunderstanding on my part, and it ended up being covered by Subaru anyway due to the warranty, but that irritated me. Only reason I’m giving 2 stars is because when I actually did get to speak with any of the employees, they were very nice and accommodating. I don’t think we’ll be back for service here and when we need a new vehicle in the next couple years we’ll be looking elsewhere. Side note: I also talked to 2 other people who have had bad experiences here.

I showed up for an oil change without an appointment. I was able to use the lounge and complimentary wi-fi to get some work done on my laptop. The oil change and DMV inspections were done in a reasonable time. Staff was very polite and professional.

My 2024 Subaru Forester will be 2 yrs old at the end of March with 21893 miles. This service visit was the 1st time I felt the service person was very deceiving. In the inspection video and transcript everything passed inspection. Recommendations to replace front brakes at 4m and back brakes 3m all passed inspection standards. I asked them to check out a chirping/whistling sound which sounds like a bad wheelbearing at only 21,893 miles covered under warranty. Service person tells me the inspection failed due to bad back brakes and when they had the car on the lift testing the wheel bearings the check engine light came on. That the check engine light is an automatic emissions failure. I

We brought our 2019 Subaru Outback in for oil, filter, inspection and tire rotation. Our service was handled quickly and professionally. We drove right into the heated service bay where we were met by a friendly service representative. The customer wait area was very spacious and comfortable. Overall an A+ experience.

I had a great experience at the Subaru of Utica. I scheduled an oil change early in the day and the oil change was done within 45 minutes. The staff is also very friendly and welcoming. They have a nice waiting area at this Subaru as well. I will definitely return for future service needs.

I went in for a routine inspection and to get my wipers replaced. Turned into needing new break pads and rotors, which was fine. The problem was I sat for 1.5 hours before being told that I needed the new breaks/rotors, when I had an appointment made and was the first in after lunch. I then waited another hour before asking about an update, and was told that the replacements had JUST arrived from another store, and it would be another 30 minutes. I was finally able to leave an hour later (4 hours of little to no communication). I’d understand if the service desk was super busy, but I could often hear them casually chatting and laughing about their personal lives when it was dead quiet. I’ve had issues calling and contacting anybody in service recently, and this visit was not only stressful but disrespectful to the time I took away from work to be there. I’d expect better costumer service/communication from the dealership I bought my car from. This and other instances has made me turn to other shops for routine problems and fixes.

The service performed was made more difficult than it should have been by the car's initial design. In times past I've performed transmission and differential service myself or via my local repair shop. Access and specialized tooling necessitated this now being a dealer service item. Going to the dealer for service is both more costly and less convenient. Going forth I will look to avoid this issue when shopping for my next car and that may mean something other than subaru.

Oil change evolved into tire rotation and an alignment. We appreciate the exceptional service and support provided, as well as the complimentary coffee and snacks, comfortable Cozy chairs, and television, which made the wait more enjoyable. Our Service Writer was outstanding and deserving of recognition, perhaps a salary increase.

Went to have my battery replaced. Was quoted $180.00 on the sheet they have you sign before the service. I get a voicemail saying this service is going to be over $680.00. Not only are they overpriced but they also take way too long for simple things. Had them put my old battery back in, took my car around the corner to Mavis, paid $270 all said and done and they got it done in less than 10 min. Don’t waste your time or money here. I’ve been a customer at Subaru Utica for 7 years now, but I’ll be going elsewhere for service for now on.

Tried to schedule a service on line. Saw that they had some openings on February 18th. Now i know this is only a request nothing is set in stone that is not the issue. Monday morning i tried several times to call service to see if my request went through. No one was anwering the phone. I called sales who picked up right away and transferred me to service. Again no one answered the phone. Called sales again this time someone actually transferred me to a live person who could not assist me transferred me to someones voice mail i left a message and they never returned my phone call. I was able to schedule a time for the 19th. Once in service was fine. However this is not the first time no one in service has answered phone. Funny how the phone is always answered in sales.

I recently purchased a RAV4 through Subaru of Utica sight unseen through a third party called Driveway. The vehicle was shipped across the country to my driveway. The vehicle arrived in great condition. Although I didn't directly deal with the this dealership, everything was exactly as described and I'm very happy with my purchase.
