As a first time customer I couldn’t be more satisfied with my experience at Mr tire . Jerry who was Mr Tire service representative couldn’t be more knowledgeable in helping me get the service I needed for my vehicle , Great service.

Went here for a basic oil change. The price was reasonable but I wasn't impressed with the service. I had to wait 20 minutes just for someone to come out and talk to me and I had to bring the vehicle back several hours later. Then the oil change took over an hour. Overall, I'm going to say this place is average. If you are in the Smyrna area, and you have time to wait. Yes I would recommend this place.

Called last minute to get a tire repaired and they were able to squeeze me in. Great customer service and the new manager communicated everything and kept checking in during the wait.

The absolute worst. Twice now they have not rotated the tires on our vehicles after an oil change, which also take them several hours to complete . Even when I specifically asked them too and got a confirmation from the man up front that they would. I told them that my wife’s car had a slow leak in the back tire. They called later and said they found a nail and that they “fixed” the problem. Two days later the tire dropped by 15 psi again. I had my brother in law look at it. Sure enough the nail was still in the tire. They charged me 55 bucks for a new tire stem which they never did. So I got charged money for a service never completed. My wife went back and wanted a refund and the answer was, corporate will get ahold of you and issue a refund. Absolute BS and just the worst car experience I have ever had. My brother in law ended up plugging it and fixing the problem in 15 minutes whereas a business who specializes in tires and service failed to do so and lied about it.

Great place for service needs. I’ve gotten my oil change there on one vehicle and a tire rotation on another vehicle. The waiting room was clean and the staff were very polite.

Went in to see Chad who has taken care of me and my family since 2023. I was told he quit because he couldn't handle the work load. If I was working there 70 hours a week with no lunch break I would quit too! Best of luck on finding another manager. Will be taking my business elsewhere!

The Manager was very rude and disrespectful. He tells you one thing and does another. My husband and I were scheduled for an appointment upon our arrival he said nobody available to work on the vehicle. He charged us a different price compares to what we were told initially. Our new rim was scratched all over and when we tried to talk to him about it and the charges he hanged up.

Worst experience I’ve ever had and dealing with a dealership. Was quoted one price over the phone and then when I went in the price doubled and then they didn’t have the piece to remove my tires so I had to go to a dealership where I bought the vehicle from to have the lug nuts removed, and then I went back a second time and they raised the price up again on me and even though I made an appointment, they said that I had to drop off the vehicle and come back in two or three hours. I have a mechanical background. I know how quick these things should take if they are taking more to 30 minutes to do a four wheel alignment. The company is losing money I don’t know if the person upfront thought he could BS me or blow smoke up my butt, but he doesn’t know me from anything to assume that I’m just dumb and don’t understand how these things work makes him look stupid customer service sucks and I don’t like feeling like I’m being ripped off or lied to if I could give zero stars, I would

Got tires on my truck 10 days ago with an alignment. Drove less then 400 miles when I noticed my brake pad wear indicators was showing rapid brake shoe wear. Then the service brakes warning light came on. I took it to my dealer and he told me someone had pulled the wiring to at least one rear wheel causing this and advise me to go back and have them repair what they broke. I went in and explained this to the manager and he told me I was ridiculous. They couldn't have done anything to my truck. He offered for me to bring it back the next day and charge for the service. I elected to take it to my gm dealer that I trust to work on my truck. These will be the last tires or service I get from Mr. Tire in Middletown DE. Beware of the service they give. They are looking for you to bring your vehicle back for repairs from the things they break. Can't prove they did this but the vehicle is out of your site the whole time and it's funny how my brakes went from 75% wear life in them to needing replaced in 10 days.

New manager Jerry took care of my tire situation and best of all he did his absolute best to get me the lowest price he could. Thought I was going to spend over $1K for all new tires but he was able to fix hole in my tire for under $60. I will be taking all my cars here from now on.

Long story but will try to be brief - our daughters car engine light came on in her car and we had to initially go to a different location to address the issue We subsequently found out there was another underlying issue as her car leaked all the oil out of the car We were able to get the car towed to Mr Tire 🛞 Smyrna location and Jerry welcomed us right before closing to look at my daughters car to see what was going on There was an initial fix at no charge (warranty) unfortunately two days later we had to return only to discover there was an exhaust leak Jerry and the crew there truly went above & beyond to ensure my daughters car was fixed properly and safe to drive in an expedient manner In addition to following up and checking in on my daughters car to make sure things were good I cannot thank Jerry enough for the extraordinary customer service and technical service he provided to us I know this story sounds fake but it is the honest truth of how things transpired

STAY AWAY from this place, FAR FAR FAR AWAY- all they will do is damage your car and you will have a nightmare of a time even trying to get a hold of a district manager or even get thru to corporate They simply DO NOT CARE. I didn't post this review immediately because I was thinking someone might actually reach out but honestly they couldn't care less . You can see from the google review answers it is all simply copy and paste to each negative customer review and being completely ignored when you try and get a hold of them. They recommended I change my axels because I could damage my transmission and I only went with them because Toyota couldn't fit me in for a few weeks . I went against my gut and trusted them. The first warning sign should have been when they ordered the wrong parts. When the parts did arrive they had my car for 8+ hours on the job. Got it back that evening. The next morning put my car in reverse then drive and the new axel snapped and blew my transmission. When I called it in the manager Chad , scoffed and told me that I must have had a problem with my transmission before hand. That story then changed to the other mechanic must not have sealed them properly. That story then changed to Auto Zone sold them a defective part. That story then changed to Chad telling me he told the other manager Aiden not to take on the job because the job was too big for him. (Aiden as a result of this incident was fired from the location because upon retuning to talk to him was told he was let go). That story then became it was out of their hands and corporates problem . Left a message for the district manager the day it happened and to this day still never heard anything back. Can't get a a supervisor on the phone at the 1800 number and when you do get someone they are in Indonesia/Singapore and the refund department /accounting is in India. I spent 2 weeks of calling and don't even remember how I finally managed to do it before I finally got an email from their risk and assessment team and a number for their insurance company. $2,200 job ( of which Mr. Tire is still deducting my money) turned into $15,000 . Yes their insurance covered the damages and my rental but then decided to drop me even after Toyota told them they would still need to assess what further damages had been done. Their insurance claimed they had covered all the damages and more importantly that they had paid for my car rental for 40 days , therefore they had fulfilled their obligation to me Now bear in mind this happened on September 19th, it is now Jan 26. I still don't have my car because of ongoing repairs being needed as a result of this and Mr. Tire keeps deducting money from my account essentially making me pay for the damages they did to my car. Even the 3rd party- Pay Tomorrow knows what they are doing is wrong and I have talked to them more than I have anyone at Mr. Tire. They keep calling me with numbers at Mr. Tire corporate and extension numbers but no one bothers to reply to messages left on answering machines or even answer the phone. So at this point, they won't stop taking my money out of my account, they haven't refunded it, they haven't even had the simple decent courtesy to apologize. They just want to play games . Well I am fed up and I too can play the same game. I have already reported them to the Better Business Bureau and my next step is going to be legal action. DO NOT, I repeat , DO NOT EVER TAKE YOURT CAR TO THIS LOCATION!!!!!!!!!!!

I called the store 30 minutes prior to arrival for new tires on my commercial utility trailer. The new manager, Jerry, was glad to help and get me in ASAP. I arrived, the staff was hustling and moving quick. 4 tires, 30 minutes, and for less than the sketchy place up the road. In, out, friendly service, done. Five stars to these guys- i'll be back for tires on my Tesla soon.

Smyrna location: A mixed feelings review. Due to being local and seeing a Presidents day sale we went online and selected a set of tires and made an appointment. We received a confirmation and a generic "thank you" within the email for picking them for service. When we arrived we were told in a stern manner, "we don't have those tires in stock and that's why it says within the email that you must call ahead to confirm product & times are available." I then shared the email with the young gentleman showing that no where is that written. He then replied, "well that's what we're told what to say." He did offer other products however what we selected he couldn't provide, in fact there weren't any in the area and that it would take a day or so to get them. Frustrated we left. After returning home and knowing we need tires asap and out of convenient proximity we went back to order the selected tires and asked would they honor the Presidents Day sale price which is on their site. So the next day, not days later, we returned and he did very nicely offer a "free" wheel alignment for which they did perform/do. When it came time to pay there was a difference of approximately $30. I asked or pointed out this discrepancy. He explained that Delaware State Law is a $7 dollar disposal fee per tire and added shop fees. Even though their site clearly lists a $5 fee per tire. I did google Delaware State Law on that very topic and it's absolutely fabricated, enclosed is a copy & paste of that. However, tires are done, it's was done very timely, we paid, but it's hard not to feel like you're being BS'd. And the "extra" fees cancel out the "sale". Delaware imposes a mandatory $2 "Scrap Tire Fee" on each new tire sold at retail to fund the cleanup of scrap tire piles, as mandated by the Delaware Division of Revenue and DNREC. For disposal, the Delaware Solid Waste Authority (DSWA) charges a rate of $280 per ton for more than 4 passenger tires. I took my mom's vehicle in because the wheel was shaking and the car was vibrating when I stopped. I Wasn't really sure what was wrong or if I needed a tune up. I made the appointment. They were willing to look at the car at no charge. Jerry was so awesome and understanding. It's hard to find an honest mechanic who's not trying to break your wallet. I had several things done to the vehicle that day. At a reasonable cost. Everything I got done had a warranty , which is amazing because I had to bring the vehicle back the next day and they were able to fix it at no cost. So I will definitely recommend getting services at the smyrna location, Jerry and his team of technicians are so sweet and amazing.

Great experience! I called yesterday to see if it was possible to get 4 new all terrain tires installed same day (one day before a predicted major snow storm). Not only was it possible, but the new store manager, Jerry, hooked me up. He got me in right away and even gave me a couple discounts I wasn't even aware of. The tires look _⁶⁶5⁵⁵⁵!
