The team was professional, friendly, and genuinely seemed to care about getting me back on the road safely and on schedule for family road trip. I appreciated the transparency--no surprise charges. The pricing was fair, the turnaround time could have been better, but the quality of work makes up for it. I won't be taking my car anywhere else.

My Honest Mechanic has gained a costumer for life after my most recent experience with them! I had another shop tell me I needed a new transmission in my van. Decided to call around for pricing for a new transmission and stumbled upon My Honest Mechanic. As soon as I started speaking with Jeff he mentioned several alternative solutions that could fix the issues I was having without paying thousands for a transmission. Speaking with Jeff and Wes, who worked on my van, left me feeling hopeful. Because of their knowledge and expertise they were able to fix it and I now feel like I’m driving a new car. Not only are they fantastic at what they do but they truly do live up to their name. Will definitely be taking my car to them here on out!

This is my first time using this shop. I had my alignment checked on my 4Runner and the price was great. I was sitting in the lobby and one thing I noticed was the genuine concern of the wellbeing of the customer coming in and out. I’ve been in the shop repair business for 40 years and these days that’s in short supply.

They did a fantastic job diagnosing and repairing my Jeep. They did it in a timely fashion for a reasonable price, and stayed under the original estimate for repairs. They did a great job of staying in contact and keeping me updated on progress. Will absolutely be bringing them any future business. Edit: I keep coming back here because, well, it’s a Jeep. However they are always friendly, honest, and easy to deal with. Hands down the best shop around.

I looked at their reviews on Nextdoor and the one that actually caught my attention was from a person who said these guys have kept his 23 yr old Toyota in great shape. I was hooked, and they did NOT disappoint. I have an 18 yr old Toyota Corolla that I make sure to keep up to date with everything required. They did the oil change and suggested I change my cabin air filter - since it was on the dirty side and of course I did - absolutely under no pressure from them. Jeff the office manager took great care of me and also let me know that my front brakes are starting to wear and would most likely need to be replaced on my next visit. I will not go anywhere else now - they have a great disposition, don't try to upsell you, and treated me super - not like some other shops - they see a woman coming and they think they've got you! My Honest Mechanic could not be further from that. I am so glad I found them and will not have anyone else touch my car. Thanks guys.

I made an appointment to have my car serviced. They were nice enough to point out all the other things that needed to be serviced on my car. While I was waiting for my car to be repaired, I sat in their waiting room and watched a movie, which helped pass the time! A little over an hour had passed, someone came in and discussed with me what he thought the issue could be and how they needed more time to pinpoint the issue and the cost of the repair. Needless to say, I left without getting my car repaired, and I still had to pay for the diagnosis! I will say the waiting room is nice and kid friendly!

I really appreciate the team at MHM! From the start, they were transparent, explained everything clearly, and worked with me in a way that felt fair and financially responsible. Even after the service, when a small issue popped up, they didn’t hesitate to check it out. That kind of follow-through really says a lot about how they run their business. Definitely recommend! UPDATE: I am so happy to have found a mechanic shop I can completely trust & feel confident in servicing my car! I had dropped my car off before opening & they actually stayed late working & went into full investigation mode to ensure the issue was fixed! There is nothing negative I can say about MHM - they’re truly HONEST MECHANICS!

Easy to make this a 5 star review. Appointment time 11am. In the shop at 11am. Work agreed upon and completed by 11:40am. My Honest Mechanic is a fair and competent auto repair shop at competitive prices. I recommend that you give them a try----or you can sit in your dealers wait room for 3 hours and they come up with some extraneous repair to line their pockets.

Good folks at My Honest Mechanic. I was in last week for an issue previously addressed. Well they completely lived up to the name of their shop and were HONEST about a mistake made a couple of months ago. They are straight-up folks. They took care of the issue and all is good. The fear at auto places is that they point out a hundred other things that need to be fixed and the big $$$$ that it will cost. At My Honest Mechanic, they give you a good overall assessment of things they see that might need addressing but, in my experience, they are doing that as a service, not an attempt at a sale. Good folks over there. I highly recommend them.

I needed an alignment done on my Ram after a new set of tires and reached out to MHM for an appointment based on glowing recommendations from neighbors and Harrisburg Forum on Facebook. My appointment was for 11am and they actually had me in a few minutes early and back on the road in under an hour with a fresh four wheel alignment for a very reasonable price. The guys up front were great to chat with while waiting as well. I will absolutely be back to MHM again in the future.

I'm relatively new in town. Had an important 11-hour drive in my only car (F-Pace) lined up, but 2 days prior noticed a fluid leak. A neighbor referred me to MHM, and the owner responded immediately to my urgent inquiry while he was on vacation. That's right, the owner... and on a cruise. He admitted Jaguar parts can be tricky to get, but said they'd do everything possible. The MHM team-- Amber, Curtis, and Kevin-- did just that-- worked together, did the diagnostic (not just explaining but showing me everything), retrieved the needed part, kept me informed throughout, and ultimately got me on the road within 48 hours for this important trip. To say I've found my local mechanic is an understatement. In my line of work, I provide mini case studies on how to run businesses and treat customers right, and this is a new shining example.
