Came in for an oil change using an offer that included tire rotation and a brake inspection. The tire rotation was not done, they only told me after I asked and gave not explanation why. For the brake inspection, they said it was done, but there’s no note on the invoice or any clear documentation of what was checked. I have low confidence that the breaks were checked. Pricing and options were also not transparent. They didn’t explain what oil choices were available or what the different prices were, and pricing wasn’t clearly available online. I had to ask everything myself instead of them being upfront. Another downside: they don’t report service records to CARFAX. They said they “don’t sell data,” but I want my maintenance to show up on the CARFAX report, and that isn’t offered here. It didn't feel professional, the atmosphere wasn’t welcoming and I didn’t like how I was approached. When I got my car back it smelled strongly of smoke, like someone with heavy smoke odor had been sitting in it. All in all, bad experience. I won’t be coming back to this location and probably won't use Mavis for any services on future.

I went in for two new high performance tires for my BMW and from the first time I called in to the time I left, Lis and her team listened carefully to my request, offered their professional advice, and made me feel valued as a customer. Lis was able to order my tires and booked my follow up appointment on the spot. To my surprise, the tires arrived ahead of schedule and Lis called me twice to let me know I didn’t have to wait for the scheduled appointment but could come in early and get the tires installed. When I arrived, Lis and her team started work right away, kept me informed along the way, and my bill was exactly what was advertised with no surprises. I was in and out in about an hour and forty-five minutes which included time for the alignment. Lis is super nice, has command and respect of her teammates, and is very knowledgeable about the products and services offered at her location at 1795 West Williams Street Apex, NC - I will definitely go back for other services. I had a really frustrating alignment issue after hitting a curb in the snow. Another shop told me I needed new front struts and was basically preparing me for a huge bill. I came here for a second opinion and they actually took the time to properly inspect the suspension and re-align the car instead of just selling parts. They showed me the measurements, explained what was happening in plain language, and most importantly they fixed the pulling problem and guess what my struts were never the problem. They even refused to charge me because I had already paid for an alignment elsewhere that didn’t solve anything. That level of honesty is rare in auto repair. Car now drives straight, steering wheel is centered, and they didn’t push unnecessary repairs. If you want a shop that diagnoses before replacing parts, this is the place. Highly recommend.

Mavis Tire was just awesome! I can’t say enough about Zavier and team. My daughter was home from college out of state and we found a nail in tire on Sunday, she needed to get back to school with a 4 hour drive. They also let me know my tires were getting worn, which I appreciated since they pointed it out without any pressure or upselling. I've been to a handful of different service centers around the Triangle and Mavis has always been the best to work with. Lincoln was phenomenal at being attentive to every customer and explaining precisely what the issues were. Slavic showed me exactly what the issue was with my tire and gave reasonable recommendations without trying to upsell. If you don't like service centers that push you to get unnecessary work done or don't give you any details on what's wrong with your car and what repairs it actually needs, these guys will give you peace of mind.

Zavier and the entire staff on 1/17 were amazing. My battery happened to die in the Food Lion Parking lot the night before. After an unsuccessful attempt to jump it, the staff was willing to take their equipment to the car in the cold and replace it. Everyone there was extremely friendly and helpful to not just myself but all of the customers. This is definitely my go place going forward.

I had a punctured tire, a screw on the inside edge of the rear drivers side. Slavic and his team were able to take me right away upon walking in. They were able plug/seal the hole and also verified that a prior TPMS warning that I had before the leak was known/apparent wasn't a bad TPMS sensor. Even though my tires are several years old, because I had bought my tires from them, he didn't charge me for the repair. I was in and out in about 30-35 mins too. I greatly appreciate it!

I had an awesome experience at Mavis in Apex and wanted to share it. I purchased a salvaged vehicle a couple of years ago and repaired it myself. The only issue was that it still had several trouble codes on the dash from the original wreck. I didn’t have a scanner capable of clearing them properly, so I just lived with the warning lights. When I brought my car to Mavis in Apex for a routine tire rotation, they did a great job as always. While I was there, one of the mechanics, Slavic, noticed the dash lights and offered to scan the codes for me using their professional scanner — completely free of charge. After running the codes, he took the time to explain what they meant so I could look into them further. I later found out that one of the main codes could only be cleared with the type of scanner they had, so I went back that same week. Slavic was there again, and he actually sat in the car with me, watched a YouTube video with me to confirm the fix, and made sure everything was resolved. Sure enough, the codes were cleared. Even more impressive, he refused to charge me for his time. It’s been such a relief driving my car without all those dash lights on. Slavic went above and beyond to help me, and his kindness and professionalism really stood out. I highly recommend this Mavis location — especially Slavic.

Called for rotation and alignment checked on my prepaid whichI was unaware ended a few weeks ago, he honored one last rotation /alignment check. Pleasant demeanor and very polite.I also had a tire losing air slow leak that just the week prior took to Honda dealer in Cary and they could not find it and with in a week the tire was low again... Mavis found it:-) Forgot I needed my inspection ...getting that done even though it wasn't scheduled. Thanks

Came in a couple of days ago because I needed some help with my oil. Zavier was super helpful and managed to get everything done along with Jinx (sorry for misspelling if I did!). They did a quick oil change given that it was an emergency. They’re great. Quickly changed out my wipers too and made sure everything was perfectly fine. I’ll definitely return there whenever I need to.
