I grew up in the car business--my granddad founded a dealership in Missouri in 1928, which passed to my dad, and when I grew up in 70s and 80s, I was there every day. Back then, mechanics knew cars, they were car guys. They knew how stuff worked. Matt at One Call is a real mechanic. He knows cars. Between my cars and my kids' cars, I've taken 3-4 vehicles to him over the years. He does great work. He's honest, upfront and no BS. (Also, price is very reasonable, but that's not why I like him)

I had some rodent damage to my car twice in the same week. ( very unfortunate) I brought my car here and Matt was able to help me out twice. I bought a rodent repellent spray, Matt and his team took the time to clean out the rodent nest and sprayed the chemical under the hood and under the car for me. Now 3 days later no signs of rodent activities, hopefully they're gone forever. Timing was fast compared to other mechanics, price was very reasonable as well. Customer service is 10/10. I would definitely recommend this place for your car trouble.

Would recommend to everyone! I came from out-of-state to purchase a used vehicle in Columbus and wanted to make sure the car was as good as it looked. I was able to get in and out and the entire staff was very friendly. The mechanic was great over the phone and even double checked that I had done my research on the title and price of the car and gave me his experience with cars from the dealer I was buying from. Also one of the best waiting areas of any mechanic I've ever been too lol. I just wish that I lived in Columbus because I would feel confident in going to them for any future repairs.

Matt is amazing!!! Super honest and great work…as a woman it’s hard to trust in mechanics when I know so little. The first time he was working on my car and I agreed to the price he called me prior to pickup to tell me he was able to save me roughly $500..most places would have just kept the quote and pocketed the money. Today, I just picked up my car and forgot my cash and he let me take the car to go get money from the bank prior to any payment. He gave my 5 year old candy and a toy car. We need more people like home in the industry!!!!! He will always have my business!!! ASK FOR MATT!!!!

I received mechanic services about a little over a month ago from One Call Auto Mechanic, and I am STILL talking about my experience to friends and family. I had asked for a quote through their online portal for brakes (basically to my knowledge - replacing everything) on my 2010, I immediately received a call with a VERY reasonable quote and was able to bring it in within in the hour. The moment I walked in, I was given excellent service - I felt like family, and my vehicle was immediately taken in for service. Matt and Trace explained everything to me about the repairs in a way that was easy to understand, I knew exactly what they were fixing on my car. As a woman, who has been played by multiple mechanic shops; I really valued that they explained it in a way so that I could easily understand. They really went above and beyond. The previous mechanic who had quoted me 3x the price for nearly the same service had lost my tire key. Matt and Trace had discovered this and showed me, which I am so grateful for because without with this key, if I were to have any tire and brake issue I would be limited to help. They guided me through how to solve this problem and I again could be more grateful. I have been driving my car now for a little over a month with no issues. There is NO other shop I will be going to in the city of Columbus and will continue to recommend them to everyone I know!

Owner very honest with me on first phone when informing that my engine light was on. Made appointment that Monday and very reasonably priced for a diagnostic test..They did thorough tests on my car and needed rear brake. Due to high mileage on my vehicle owner was very honest with me what I really needed done. Rear brakes were done for a great price and timely manner. Owner kept me posted throughout the job which was really good. Would highly recommend this company again and would go to them again for my car needs or inspection on a new vehicle before purchasing.
