It's unfortunate that I had to utilize Park Place Bodywork's in Plano after an inattentive driver here in the DFW slammed into the rear of my almost paid off Accord. But the good thing is these guys here Mr. Mendoza, Mr Pena, and Mr Harden (just as they put Humpty Dumpty back together) they put my car back together for me. The amazing body work these Master Mechanics do is phenomenal!!!! It takes amazing skills to RE-BUILD a vehicle that you (reckless inattentive, eating a bowl of cereal, texting, and putting on makeup while driving) drivers here in DFW tear up!!! Mr. Miguel Mendoza is a Craftsman at what he does....the precision it takes to align a mangled mess of metal back into a vehicle is jaw-dropping. Mr. Mario Pena is another Master Craftsman that takes pride in what he does....he put the time into making my vehicle RIGHT!! I love these gentleman.....I was allowed to see the progression of my vehicle repairs.....They were so welcoming and they have so many other vehicles they are working on, I felt as if they only had my vehicle they were repairing. My amazing adjuster, Mr. Dennis Harden kept me abreast of the repairs the ENTIRE TIME....I got text messages and emails on the status of my vehicle....not only that, they DO NOT place any old parts back onto your vehicle (for the people in the back) they use all NEW or LKC parts for my vehicle!!!! AND YOU GET A WARRANTY ON PAINT AND PARTS AS LONG AS YOU OWN THE VEHICLE.....They give you a time frame as to when the repairs will be completed!!! AWESOME...Just AWESOME!! I pray I don't ever have to see these gentlemen again, at least not this way!! So if a reckless non driving DFW person (I gotta text, put on make up, eat a Whataburger, and paint my toenails) hit your vehicle.....take it to Park Place Bodywork's (IN PLANO)...and tell them the Chic From Memphis, Tennessee sent you!!!

Chris Landry was our amazing service advisor. Our car was taken in for collision damage and the car looks amazing. There was a minor scuff on the seat at pick up. They went out of their way and wanted to fix it promptly. I would 100% recommend them to all family and friends. The car was done in the timeframe promised, and we were updated during every step of the process. When we picked up our car, they took responsibility of getting our rental car back to Enterprise for us.

I was ready to give a decent review until I get to the bodyshop and see that my windshield was still broken. My car has been in the shop for two weeks due to hail damage. I didn’t expect it to take that long, but I was patient. I had to call once or twice a week to get any updates (first strike). And when I did speak to Gary he gave me the same story—someone didn’t do a task assigned to them. Even though Everytime Gary said he’d called the guy I’m assuming he hadn’t. I get the call today that my car was ready. I’m under the assumption my car is completely fixed, windshield included. But no, my windshield is even worse than what it was when I brought it to the shop. Out of all the times I spoke to Gary on the phone he never mentioned anything about my windshield. So when I asked he said he found it strange the windshield wasn’t fixed. Instead of letting me know before hand or trying to find out why he let me drive to the bodyshop knowing my windshield wasn’t fixed. Being that there’s now a hole in my windshield it’s not safe to drive at all! So now I have to wait two more days to take my car somewhere else to get the windshield fixed. I’m highly upset! Because if my customer is coming in for hail damage and the windshield is a major part why not bring it up or try to help solve the situation. I will say the lady at the front desk (I don’t remember her name) tried to help. But the customer service from Gary…never again.

Unfortunately someone ran into my new car with less than 6,000 miles on it. Park Place Bodywerks made it new again. Chris Landry was our service advisor and was excellent. The front office staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. They were streamlined and efficient, helped to arrange the rental and transportation. They worked with me to repair the car to pre-collision standards and it looks showroom new. The experience was very easy and convenient, five star service.

I picked up my car today and wasnt happy with the works. It was under my expectations of their works. The representative staff (gary nelson) seems like not concern about customer opinion or concerns. I told him the issue (top molding) that need to be fixed and wasnt fix correctly and he kept talking out of it. He did agree to setup a next appointment for the technician to take a look but wouldnt commit that it wasnt done correctly. Last time i brought my car to the lexus body in downtown dallas and the works were PERFECT more then my expectation. Anyway, bottom line is their works are not as good as i thought it would be. They pulled me to the side, explained the situation and told me how sorry they were. They were open and honest about what happened, which was appreciated. I was given a Type S until mine was repaired. 👌🏻

Be sure to check your car top to bottom and take photos of EVERYTHING when you drop your vehicle off and pick it up. I didn’t and now I’m stuck with a ton of damage to my brand new car with only 3,500 miles. My car was damaged while in their possession and they refuse to take responsibility. The insurance company allowed to remove and reset my bumper. So when I brought the damage to their attention and said that it looks like it happened when they removed and reset my bumper, they advised me that they in fact didn’t remove and replace my bumper. So they took money from me for work not completed. They tried to give me a song and dance about how they applied that money to something else, but never provided an updated estimate. If you look at the photos, you’ll see that the scratches on the front come from underneath. And the paint is peeling on with side where the bumper meets the fender. Also, they replaced glass and didn’t realize it had tint like the rest of my car. Who has untinted windows in Texas? I had to call them for a week to get them to take care of it like they should have in the first place. The only reason I gave two stars was because they did a nice job on the work I hired them to do (paintless dent repair). Do yourself a favor and take your car somewhere else.

EDITED to add images of the condition our car was given back to us in. Incredibly dirty with scuffs, tape residue, and part of the paint peeling off the door. We brought our car here for hail damage repairs. I don’t usually write reviews, but our experience here was so terrible that I feel I need to. We were quoted at the repairs taking 7-10 days, and they had our car for 32. They were so difficult to get ahold of, and when we did, every person tried to blame someone else instead of giving us a straight answer. Even management failed to take any sort of accountability for the several mistakes that were being made. They messed up on scheduling, ordered the incorrect parts, and filed the invoices with our insurance incorrectly. All of these issues caused delays, but not once did they call to notify us. Every time they’re estimated ready by date passed, we had to go through the process of calling several times, leaving messages, and finally getting ahold of someone just to be transferred several times. We spoke with Eric several times, and each time we got nothing but attitude and deflection. And then to top it off, our car was returned dirty, marked with pink scuffs on the passenger door, and drained of windshield wiper fluid. The only explanation I can think of for the positive reviews is that they are paying people off because I don’t believe this team is capable of doing anything well.

Get your vehicle repaired here if you want huge delays in between responses when getting status updates on your vehicle, if you want your vehicle to be returned and not be functioning as intended, and if you want the front desk person by the name of Emily to treat you like dirt. Definitely not the experience that I have had with Park Place dealerships or body shops in the past. This experience has completely tarnished my relationship, and the way I feel about the Park Place brand across the board. Do better.
