My battery died on a Friday night while my wife was out of town with her car. Got a neighbor to jump my battery and went to the closest place with batteries that was open at 7:30pm. I went to Advanced Auto on Roswell Rd. The employee in the store said he couldn’t help me because he was the only employee in the store even though they were open until 9. Wouldn’t even jump my battery to go somewhere else. Pep Boys was attached to the same building as Advanced Auto but they had closed at 7:30. Their door was open so I walked in and shared my situation. They couldn’t have been kinder and more than one of them were willing to take care of my battery even though it was already 30 minutes after closing on a Friday night. I was very impressed with their service and thankful that they helped me out. I will certainly give them more business.

I had an appointment for 10:30 AM to get my tires changed. I showed up a few minutes early and there was one man working up front. When another worker walked in, he clocked in, and then went to the back to eat his breakfast when there were a few of us standing in the lobby waiting to be helped. I was later helped by this young man who was obviously new who didn’t entirely know what he was doing. He was nice, but not knowledgeable and took 30 min just to help me when all I should’ve had to do was drop my car off. I had my tires shipped there and he told me at first they weren’t there, but then when he went and checked in the shop they were of course there. So I waited 30 minutes for him to help me and he tried to charge me for the service when I had said several times I paid online and he said “you may just have to pay for them here”. He also tried to charge me a fee for run flats when the tires I purchased were not run flats. Makes me think he thought since I was a woman I was dumb and didn’t know what I was getting charged for and would just pay. I was very adamant on I wasn’t going to pay for what I already paid for, and eventually an older gentleman helped him and then I didn’t have to pay again. They also told me my car would be done by 1pm and it wasn’t done until about 4:30. When I called around 1:30 to check up on what was going on it seemed like they hadn’t even started on my car. They also left oil all over the drivers side door and floor of my car. Safe to say I won’t be coming back.

It sucks when you come here poor customer service , they only have 1 employee that answer the phone calls, taking care of the other customers in the line who ever call right away He answered the phone call and take care of them care . And who ever else that is in the lobby not getting help . This is an unacceptable . You should hire more people you cannot have one employee to everything. This is an unacceptable. Looking forward to hear from you guys.

Never use car advise to install tires on this place, front desk people are rude and disrespectful. I’ve bought a pair of tires on eBay and got sent to this location, and bought car advise installation service, and they “remembered to see these tires” , after trying to find the tires on the store, minutes later they told me if I don’t have a picture from fedex of the delivery, they can’t do nothing. Just avoid this place 👎

I would definitely recommend this location for anyone who wants auto parts and auto care. I came by this location with my kid to check and see what they had in the store to fit her mirrors. We were looking for some spot mirrors that would not melt off the side mirror as the previous ones did fall off. We specifically needed one for each. We found them and some air fresheners for her vehicle which she loves. The store manager was helping us at the cash register. He was very friendly capable and provided us excellent service and information.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE! Very rude staff. Dishonest workers. Unorganized shop. Incompetent manger. Long waits nasty waiting area. I recently made my first appointment here to have my car serviced for a check engine light. Appointment at 8am with no call back all day. Finally I called around 4:30 pm and was told they would soon be working on it. Frustrated I pop up at 5:30pm to find the car still sitting. I asked for my keys and was told they were “ just “ about to work it. Needless to say I waited until 6 to ask for me keys to go elsewhere. Also the manager had a nasty unecessary attitude with me felt racial. I’ll never again take my vehicle to this poor unorganized pep boys again. Horrible experience.

I'm an Uber driver and when i come to your shop I use Caradvise since it's part of their fleet program. I took my 2016 Acura ILX at 8am on 10/7/2025 to change my oil and a tire rotation..something very simple and walked a half of a mile back home. COST WAS $71.23 At 11am i received the inspection notification that everything looked good...i'm thinking ok my car should be done within an hour. Around 12:14pm they advised that i need to do a transmission flush and a transmission drain and fill. At 12:20pm I declined the transmission flush and accepted the drain and fill. COST INCREASED TO $151.21 At 1:03pm they requested for another service on my car to where I called the shop to see what's going on. Cornell didn't know the brand to choose in his system for my cars transmission saying the price is too low but he'll figure it out. When I called Caradvise they advised me that the shop put in the wrong information in the system so they fixed it. As I'm on the phone with Caradvise I received another notification from the shop for Fluid Additive - A/T and transmission flush. I advised Caradvise that I just need a drain and fill for the transmission, i declined the Fluid Additive - A/T and transmission flush. at 4:13pm the shop requested another request for services. When I called the shop, this time I spoke with Toni the store manager and he stated that the order in the system was incorrect and now my COST IS $258.34 and that the car would be finished within the hour. Around 4:50pm i walked back to the store to get my car, Toni couldn't explain what happened today BUT he fixed the errors. At 5:38pm my car was finally DONE...i walk towards my car and due to the scratches on my OEM rims I noticed that the tires weren't rotated...when i turned my car on i saw that they didn't even put air in my tires (front left was at 34psi, front right 37psi, rear left 37psi and rear right 33psi) I didn't even drive off the lot and walked BACK into the shop and told them that this is the second time where they said they rotated my tires and didn't do it. They took it in the back to rotate my tires. So here i am waiting until 6pm to get the tires rotated and put air in my tires. Now I'm livid and requested to speak with Toni, nobody could find him they think he went home...they rotated the tires but no air was put in them...what a joke. As an Uber driver if i don't drive I make no money...I waited 10 hours and i need some sort of compensation and I'm most likely will never go back to that store again. I wrote to corporate, they said someone will call me back…22 days later and NOBODY HAS CALLED ME BACK!

I’ve become a repeat customer with this shop and every time I’ve asked them for more than just an oil change, it goes something like this: They quote a price to me, I say “wow that’s a good deal!” And agree to the work. I get to the counter to pick up my car to find a significantly higher price than discussed. The manager either blames an employee or their system for “the error” and gives you a slight discount that’s still more than you agreed to… and I did not ask for a large scope of work!! If you are looking for honesty and transparency for service on your car, this is not the place for your car.

Don’t bring your car here.Went in for a battery change. Price quoted was ~$230 and I signed the work authorization signed. I return one hour later after being called to return. An entire hour elapsed after my return before I receive any customer service. Then the clerk tries to charge me $400.53. I’m not paying and you shouldn’t either. Then they lost my keys. DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE IF IT IS THE LAST OPEN SHOP IN EARTH. DEAD SERIOUS.

I've been left without a car nor definitive answers. I first took my car to the pep boys on Roswell Road here in GA. They stated They had to fix a hose and O rings and etc. I have my own diag tool so i know what it says before I go to the shop. First off your ETA system in inaccurate, i was showed that my car would be ready by 5pm everyday and never was ready nor did I get an calls for updates... I had to call myself. Then when I retrieved the car it lasted 24 hours before I got another engine check light. This time my check engine light said something totally different from the first issue I came in with. I got stuck in the city and I called roswell road and they stated that I could get it towed(which took 3 hours) to their location and I would be charged again for diagnostics. I didnt have enough money to get it towed that far so I went to the howell mill location. I told howell mill proceed with addressing the issue. They stated it was still having the same issue with other issues after replacing the part and that they would have to charge me diagnostics once again. I have no own diagnostics tool and the issues my car left with were not the issues I came in with. I feel like am being scammed at this point and will by pursing to get aresolution because this has really railroaded my life. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO INTEGRITY WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!
