Got a transmission re built for my 4x4 chevy avalanche. Fast work and good service. Picked up after like 3 days with a complete rebuild. Pricing seems fair and the main guy seems very competent with what he does. Friendly too. They dont answer the phones very well tho. Dont sweat it - It's the trade off you get when you have a specialized guy that really focuses in on doing his work. So far I'm glad I trusted him and his team. It's a small shop but dont let the look of things fool you the guy is a surgeon when it comes to transmissions!

So I had my 2005 Dodge Ram transmission rebuilt here because of a recommendation and according to the mechanic my torque converter went out 3 times he replaced the 3 torque converters and my truck still felt off and overheated from the transmission I changed the trans cooler and still had problems, my transmission just went out again and I’m looking for the warranty paper but I don’t feel like taking it back because I feel like there’s something wrong internally and he won’t want to fix it and I spent 2500 for no reason

Took my truck here for a p1870 code (transmission component slipping) there was a lot of glitter in the pan so we opted for a rebuild as the truck was approaching 200k miles (even though the truck ran and drove perfectly fine other than the code). Got the truck back together and the same code came back not even 10 minutes down the road. Took it back 3 separate times with strong claims from the owner that it just needed another repair that he overlooked and it would be as good as new. Every time he had it for a day or 2 and then told me it was all good to go but every single time i got it back on the way home it poped the same code and trans started shifting hard. After the 3rd time and nearly 2 months of my time wasted trying to get it driveable so it would pass smog i finally cut my losses and just drove the truck straight to my local scrap yard and gave it to them... clearly somthing was overlooked durring the rebuild. This guy might be good with basic RnR rebuilds but i wouldnt advise taking anything here that has any kind of issues that are not an obvious to fix. Gigantic waste of time and money.
