Customer Service is joke… avoid at all costs. I have been a long time customer. I pay for the full synthetic service which is their top oil change. I spend over a hundred dollars every time I walk in the door. I bought an air filter with the intent of installing it myself. It’s been pretty busy so I didn’t get it done. This place is going to check the air filter anyways as part of full service. So I ask them to quick swap it out and they said it will be $10 shop charge. Well guess if I wasn’t headed out of town and needing the oil change I would have just left the place. So needless to say this will be my last time here. From now on I will schedule with my regular mechanic because at least I know they value customer service. If I was anyone else I would go elsewhere. You can can do better than this place

These guys ALWAYS treat me right! Great bunch of folks! Quick, knowledgeable, professional, courteous and friendly! Kirby was a sweet, stand-up young man! Very pleasant experience. The car wash was also nice and did a great job on my old Honda even with just the standard wash. I'll be back.

WARNING: NOT WORTH ADDITIONAL COST!!! I was late on my oil change & this place is right around the corner from me. Figured I’d give them a shot. They were nice enough, definitely upsold me, but I was sort of planning on that. I’ve been having to add oil since having them change my oil, but they told me my engine seemed to be over consuming (hence the upsell ‘cleaning’ so consumption could hopefully lessen). I brought my car to my normal mechanic today bc I finally had time in my schedule & was sick of consistently adding oil. Performance Plus is ‘so quick’ they completely stripped my oil pan bolt so it can’t tighten and has a constant leak. I’m now facing a super expensive bill right before the holidays because I trusted this place to do a decent job. I will never return to another Performance Plus location… you save $$ on the front, just to get royally screwed after the fact. Hopefully this review will help someone else make a better decision and avoid this place.

The guy Craig at performance plus on Sherman Street in Muskegon Michigan is a wonderful guy. They have great outstanding wonderful service there. I recommend that is the place to go to if you want your car service good thank you and have a blessed day.

Will NEVER go here again!! I have been taking my vehicles here for years. This weekend was my last time ever going again. Charged me for replacing oil filter and then did not. Said they checked this and that on their list and did not! I guess they forget that we can actually see them checking the wipers, tires etc. They eliminated the free car wash and gives you $5.00 off the cheapest $8.00 lousy car wash. As soon as I left, my check engine light came on and will not go off. Has never came on except immediately after oilchange and now my vehicle is sputtering and missing!! Again...NEVER EVER had an issue until I pulled out of there. Lies and charged me for stuff that wasn't replaced. Bad management and high turn over rate with unqualified people. I would call and complain, but you will fall on deaf ears and they will say OK and that will be that. They lost a good loyal customer for years and I am letting others know to BEWARE AND STAY AWAY!!

I like going here to get my oil changed because they have a good service, and they're very prompt and get everything done methodically. There's no hidden fees, everything is laid out pretty plainly, and you can upgrade as needed. They were kind enough to change a light bulb on my driver's taillight for me for really cheap, and it's something that's worried me for a while. And, you get a free car wash after, what's not to like about it?

Don’t, just don’t. I sat around waiting in the bay while after they started on my car, while they abandoned me to attended to the truck next to me. When they finally got back to me they did the bare minimum; not checking the air filter, checking lights, or even checking the tires. I had to tell them to air my tires correctly. When I got home my vehicle was dripping oil. I went back the next day to have it checked, and was told they noted on my receipt in small text they recommended a re-tap on my fuel plug and it was as tight as it was going to get. I asked the manager who was the same manager as the day before “Don’t you think that was something important to tell me yesterday?” Silence from him, with the exception of asking his attendant to raise the door so I could leave. No sorry, no nothing. I brought in a non leaking vehicle and now it’s dropping everywhere. Thanks but no thanks. Don’t go here unless you’d like to leave with a new problem they created that you need to pay someone else to fix.
