After the giant ice storm that shut down our city, my very frigid house was going on many days without power. After scraping my car of ice and clearing my driveway of giant fallen branches, hoping to leave to a warm hotel, I realized I had a totally flat tire! After crying from disappointment and overwhelm and then refilling it with a pump, I saw Pyramids was the closest tire shop to me (only a half mile away) and called to make sure they were open (the few others I called were not). Mina was happy to help so I rushed over. He was very welcoming, and promptly discovered a nail as well as some other metal object embedded in my tire. He also quickly took note of how bald my very old front two tires were, and offered to replace those as well. He gave me a great price, but even more impactful was his genuine care and kindness. I wasn't there long but I cried in front of him more than once, including when he kindly offered me hot chocolate while I waited! I had been putting off replacing my tires because who has time and money for that, but Mina made it so fast and easy! I left feeling so cared for and also so much safer in my car! This small business could be so easy to overlook, but it's truly a hidden gem. I'll definitely be back whenever I'm in need again! Thank you dearly, Mina!!
