Besides a friendly service advisor, I had a horrible experience. After leaving my truck at the dealership for a month for a some repair work and a recall, my truck pretty had the same problems when I picked it. I asked if all work had been done before picking my truck up, and I was assured it was. The recall wasn't done, I was told the parts were on back order. The small repair(power inverter not working) had some parts changed but still didn't work. The major repair was said to have been done(front differential repair), my truck sounds worse now than when I dropped it off. There are other little things, but my major concerns weren't taken care of. The really sad part is, the dealership knows my truck isn't fixed and no one even attempted to contact me to try and make it right.

My truck was there for 2 months exactly to repair an oil leak from the timing cover and both valve covers. There is one lady (I forget her name) but she is a hero! Once she got involved they got my truck ready. Otherwise the service writer guy had an excuse he used for 2 weeks saying the paperwork was not ready, then a roof leak damaged things on his desk, etc…. Cathy that answers the phone is great, Chip Tolliver is the best thing that Philpott has going for them, then the nice lady that got everything worked out. Aside those 3, I won’t be back cause I can’t imagine how long it would take them to fix something seriously wrong!

I love this caring and compassionate team, they came to my work and I was beyond pleased with the work and convenience of it all!! Cheyenne is quick to return phone calls and this team is simply amazing. I had a piece under my Explorer that was loose and my tech fixed that as well. I'm highly satisfied and knowing they make it so convenient in my busy life is such a blessing to me. Thank you guys so much

Dropped off my vehicle on Tuesday and picked it up 4 days later on Saturday. No one ever looked at it. Service person told me they were backed up when I dropped it off (which i understand) but when he talked to the mechanic he said he would get to it Thursday (i wasn't going to leave it otherwise) No one ever called me. I tried calling several times Saturday but no one ever answered so I just showed up and that's when I was told it was never looked at. I left with no service done to my vehicle.

Over the past several weeks, I have been getting the message "System Off to Save Battery" "Please turn ignition off or start engine". I called last Monday to report the issue and to see I can make an appointment. I was told that they didn't have any available appointment slots, but then I was told that I could bring it in and they will try to get to it. I was told that the issue sounds like a battery. I brought it on Wednesday and was told that they should be able to look at it since it was just a battery. I left it at the dealership the whole day. I had to call to get an update because I didn't receive one from the dealership. I was told that they didn't get a chance to look at it. I was told that they will get with the mobile service agent who makes the scheduling to see if they can come out and change the battery. It is now Monday of the following week and I didn't get a phone call to let me know about an appointment with the mobile service. I texted the agent and was told that I need an appointment and it will take 24-48 hours now to look at. What the heck! If I needed an appointment, why wasn't one scheduled to begin with a week ago? I asked about a loaner and was told that they have 30 people in line for a loaner car. What is the point of having an extended warranty that provides a loaner whenever a vehicle is in the shop? I have held my tongue regarding service here in the past, but this is now to a point where it seems the dealership service department does not care, especially if they know it is a warranty covered issue since they make no money off of it. I am sure this review will fall on deaf ears, but hopefully something will get done.

After having my accident @430 am while working out of town in Nederland I had my truck taken to Philpott Ford Service Center. Emily stayed in contact with updates. It took longer than what I was expecting, but getting parts to repair what had broken (seen and unseen at the beginning). If Emily wasn't able to give me updates one of the other ladies would. They were very caring and compassionate about the my whole situation. I would give the body shop an A++. I did not get ugly or loud because the things slowing everything down was out of their control. Don't see many companies or employees nowadays treat people the way you have. Thank you all for everything.

Never have I ever received the superb and friendly service from ANY dealership, than what I received from Heather and Philpott ford service department. Jesse reed is the man best employee there. Honestly this was probably the best experience I’ve had at a dealership and there aren’t many. First off my truck started breaking down out of state! I call Jesse the service advisor at Philpott and said hey can you login to my truck and see what the code is. Because with ford connect they can do that. So it was an issue with the transmission which I figured. He let me talk to the shop Forman to see if it was okay to continue driving and just limp it along since I still had 30 minutes to go before the air bnb. Based off the info I gave him he said it was fine and it was. Long story short I towed it back got it in the shop Jesse stayed 5 minutes after they closed to take me in because I had been on the road pulling my truck back for 15 hours and I wasn’t going to make it by closing time and he knew I needed to get it in that day. He kept me updated the whole time. managed to get my transmission completely covered under warranty for a brand new one. Not only that they recognized some other problems based off a sound I heard and some liquid around the rear diff. Another long story short they ended up replacing both turbos both exhaust manifolds and the rear diff seal all at no cost to me. And not to mention they were able to have me in a loaner vehicle the whole time Jesse pulled some strings and got me one and my truck was done in about 3-4 weeks time frame despite all the work and discoveries. Something dogget ford could not do. Even though I just bought the truck from them it was a gold certified with 60,000 miles and broke down at 67,000. All they could say on the phone was it might be covered we don’t know and then told me diagnosis was 2 weeks out and loaner vehicles were a month out. Again I called Jesse he said I’ll hook you up and your gonna be covered trust me. Plus he diagnosed it the next day and finished it in record time. The longest part was waiting on Ford to approve the warranty coverage on my transmission which Jesse made sure he stayed on top of them everyday. I got to say I’ve heard horror stories about Philpott service but not this time I honestly will not go anywhere else. All it takes is one person to make a difference and that one person is Jesse reed I think he’s turning that service department around. 10/10 highly recommended

This was quite the experience. I made an appointment to get my vehicle checked out for what I determined were minor issues. I made the appointment the first part of December and asked if a loner car would be available, as we only have one vehicle. I was told that was possible. I brought my car in on the appointed date and time, and it seemed that really no appt was needed. No loner cars were available. I would be placed in the line of order, they were cancelling appts because of the holidays and they were backed up. I was told on a Wednesday that it would probably be the following Tuesday before they could look at my vehicle. I asked if I could just bring it back on Tuesday and was told, no that was not possible. No open tickets on a vehicle not on the premises. I did finally speak with a very nice lady, Heather, on Friday morning and she let me pick up my vehicle for the weekend. I brought it back on Monday for service. I was called on Wednesday and told a part was ordered and I could pick up the car and bring it back on Monday to be repaired. They did fix the vehicle on Monday and returned it to my home. They replaced a shock absorber. Through this process, I called every day, morning and afternoon, to get a status check on my car. I ended up calling 12 times. No one could ever give me an update. They would call me back. No one did. I was given the name of Keith Leger. He would take care of things. I left 4 messages with him. I still have not spoken to him. I was given the name of Joseph Nold. I called and left a message. I still have not spoken with him. It took a total of 7 days with my vehicle to get this shock absorber fixed. I made five trips from Beaumont to Nederland to get a Shock Absorber fixed! I have been singing the praises of Philpott for their service, but this was not a good experience.

Philpott was able to secure a part for my vehicle that was extremely difficult to locate, but Jay in the Parts Department was so professional and located the part.The service department is very knowledgeable and the technicians are exemplary. The facility is absolutely immaculate and they offer complimentary refreshments for customers. Jesse Reed was our Service Advisor and he was amazing!! Thank you Philpott. 🙂
