I love this shop. They are straightforward and reasonably priced. They have great customer service. I’ve never once left feeling like I paid for something my car did not need. I would highly recommend them to anybody.

This is the best customer service I have ever received! Our oil light suddenly came on (after recently getting it changed) causing us to quickly find an auto shop. A quick google search and Precision Auto Tune was the first one to pop up. They were almost to closing time and as we walked in, Ron the store manager was so extremely helpful and kind. He quickly got our car looked at and discovered the previous auto shop did not secure the drip plug and did not secure the air filter. Ron had it fixed up for us in 15 minutes for NO CHARGE! Safe to say Precision Auto Tune is the only place my family and I will be going to.

I've been bringing my cars here for 9 years and never been disappointed. They're always honest, informative, and respectful if I need to wait until I can afford something. I almost never recommend businesses, but I do recommend Precision Tune to anyone who needs a trustworthy shop. The peace of mind is priceless.

I love these guys. They’re easy to talk to. Great prices on oil changes I just paid $65 for my 03 Subaru with high mileage and they top Off the other fluids and get it done quickly and when I asked them to take a look at my radiator they diagnosed that also and offered prices. Super nice.

This is the highest price I have ever paid for a oil change including a coupon. When I questioned it with the man at the front desk he simply told me I should have read details of the Groupon. Upon leaving I didn't even get a Thank You. I am a senior but I still expect good service and respect!

Dishonest people here got caught. I got two vehicles looked over and got a list of alleged problems. I then took it to my mechanic friend to verify. He said they added jobs on both vehicles that didn’t need to be done. They tried to rip me off for thousands of dollars. Don’t come here, they’re scammers.

Kept us updated on what was wrong with the vehicle and was very transparent with pricing. My husband felt it was spendy for the service but I know the dollars come with amazing service. They got done earlier than planned and made the financing process super easy! Definitely will come back for another future service.

I was able to get my car in same day. It was done in an hour. . I am very satisfied. With the results here, my steering wheel sits Straight and my car drives straight. Thee mechanic answered the questions I had without hesitation and I don't know if there is anything more that could be done to improve the experience, this is pleasantly unusual in my experience. I will definitely recommend this shop to anyone! 👍

Eta; I am aware the owner has replied. They do not intend to actually address these concerns, or they would have addressed them when I brought them up in person years ago. It's been a couple of years, but I drove past and saw a "best in clark county" sign that raises concerns. They installed a combination switch that got hot when the car was running. They replaced a wheel speed sensor three times due to the wires getting rubbed through. It turned out they weren't actually using the clips meant to keep the wires from touching moving parts. They argued with me over a O2 sensor that was moved to bypass the precads since we hollowed them out. Luckily he stopped insisting I needed to have it moved when I told him it wasn't related to my transmission issues. The precads were hollowed because a shop was willing to do that and replace the catalytic converter for less than a third what precision auto wanted to charge me to replace one. All three were bad, and replacing one but not the others or hollowing the others would have just led to immediate failure. I was having transmission issues and asked him to check the fluid level. He said it was wildly overfilled, despite the symptoms being more likely a slight leak. The transmission was significantly worse after and I took it to a transmission specialist, who found someone had dumped three quarters of my fluid. Additionally, I was honest about my level of understanding of cars being low, but neither that nor my gender is any excuse to be as condescending and rude as they were when I brought up the speed sensor failure, heat of the combination switch, O2 sensors and their misunderstanding how to properly measure transmission fluid on a vehicle that cannot be checked hot. Maybe it's car by car, in which case I will add this; they never broke my LeBaron, but all of these problems were on a Saturn LW300 which has since gone to pick and pull when the transmission failed. I might have had more time if it hadn't been drained and driven dry.

I was in desperate need of brake repairs the day before Christmas eve. Low on funds, trying to make things happen for my family, etc. They made room for my vehicle to be repaired that day, and gave me a large discount. Repairs were perfect and professional with no excess or unnecessary suggestions or mark ups. Just honest, professional and fair diagnosis and repair. Thank you so very much for good business!!!

I had my vehicle towed to the shop because of an axle in searing problem. The car was under warranty and said they would cover it when I got the car back. Only the axle was fixed. The steering wheel was left unresolved a week later, I almost got into a car accident because of it not being fixed. I went back and told them that the steering was still unstable and then I felt unsafe driving a vehicle. They said that the warranty was not gonna cover it and they were not responsible. I would never recommend the shop. They have horrible service, horrible communication and are not responsible. I would definitely give them a zero star if I could.

I recently discovered that I have worked half a block away from the best auto care business in Washington. My 2001 Cadillac had a problem with an electric window motor. The window was stuck down and my home’s garage is filled with everything except a car. I had to get it repaired pronto. I went to the Cadillac dealer that I work next door to, drove into the service department and was told the first appointment available was 2-1/2 weeks away. That’s when I discovered Precision. It was 4:30pm and Ron was apologetic for not being able to get to it until the next day! It was done the next day as promised and the work (and clean-up) was extraordinary. I’ve since taken other cars to them for maintenance and repair. In each case, the quality and the total experience was extraordinary. Ron has the three C’s - Competent, Competitive and Consistent. I don’t normally write reviews or use social media. Your stereotype of the guy who drives a 25-year-old Cadillac is probably right on. But Precision, Ron and his team really are extraordinary. I’m very appreciative and genuinely happy. Thank you!!

in the beginning of this year my car developed a really bad coolant leak. it needed a pump replacement. I replaced the pump but then it started leaking oil like it had no oil pan attached. I couldn't find the source of the leak. After searching with a scope, I gave up and was referred to this company which near my home. Added a bunch of oil and prayed it would make it there. when I got there, I told them what was going on. after a few hrs they called me with questions. the next day they called back saying it had a cracked block and needed an engine replacement. ( it never overheated so probably a preexisting problem. it was a used purchase. ) This was not the outcome I was hoping for. we moved forward with the replacement. they called a few days later to let me know the engine arrived early and could start on it sooner than they expected. about a week later I got another call everything is good to go. I picked it up and drove it about a week when I had to take it back in. it was running like it couldn't get air or fuel. chugging along. found out it was the mass air flow sensor. they replaced it but it kept happening. so, they called me to drive it around and then let them know what it was doing. I did. a couple days later I took it back in and told that what was going on. the next day I got another call telling me it was their error, and they fixed the problem. I have not had a problem sense, and they never want to see my vehicle again for engine problems. hahahhahaha if you want a communicative mechanic, these are your guys. I always have problems being a female and I had none with them. very nice group. just remember they are human and sometimes diagnosis take longer than we like. mine was defiantly weird. thanks again

I had barely 2 days warning of pending doom, as my car was making a high pitched hum before Friday night when I turned into my parking spot and the steering wheel completely locked & my ignition wouldn't turn over anymore. Saturday 8:30am I was towed into Precision Tune's parking lot without an appointment where I met store Manager Ron and explained my situation. They were accommodating to diagnose my car, polite, and Ron could clearly explain to me what tests my vehicle failed, what needed replacing, and without industry jargon or leaving me confused. I felt calm and informed and reassured my car was in capable hands. I opted to wait in their reception room, which while not large was still clean, padded chairs, sounds from the shop muffled, and no odors from maintenance work. I could comfortably sit and read while waiting (photo for proof!), saw multiple customers pass through and each shown the same professional and casual treatment so each left equally reassured. For a new battery & alternator, I found the pricing very fair (coupon included!), the guarantee on parts & labor a generous 24 month/24k miles, and they had me driving under my own power by lunchtime. For what was a nasty shock, turned out to be a surprisingly pleasant experience. And now I have a new Auto Care resource for the future.

Talking about how competent their mechanics are seem rather too obvious as I have exclusively relied on them to take care of my car ever since I moved to WA from OR. But I am posting this to talk about Ron, the manager, and Rob, his son. In particular, they are the most honest and straight forward mechanics I ever had. For example, they pointed out that I need new cabin and engine air filters during routine change. Instead of pushing me to do so at their higher price, they gently pointed out that it would be cheaper if I bought them myself and they would install them on my next visit. If you are looking for auto mechanics that are more concerned about their reputation as being honest than making a few more bucks off of you, you might check them out.

I’d called a few places looking to see if I could get my brake pads done because it was worrying me even though as a student I am on an almost non-existent budget. Robert was happy to answer all my questions and even honor a Groupon price which allowed me to be able to afford the services. You could tell he genuinely wanted to help and not upsell me on something I didn’t need at the moment unlike other places I’d spoken with. This was soooo very appreciated. He also offered to work through his lunch so that I could make it to work on time. I had 2 different services done in 2 days because that’s how much I like this shop. Another reason to support is it’s family operated. I respect businesses that have heart to them. I’ll be going there for future service and sending friends as well. Great job guys!

They were clear before they started my oil change about the additional cost my car was going to need (I did know about this before I made the appointment but, I appreciated the heads-up). They took my car in right away and were finished pretty quickly. The waiting room was comfortable and clean. The young man that was helping me following the oil change recommended a couple of things that needed to be looked at. The great thing was that these were things I was already aware of and not some mystery new problems that weren't problems before I got there. While the young man was ringing me up I was complaining about gas prices and the young man told me about a fuel system service that they have available. I asked some questions and he answered them without talking down to me. No presure, no up sales, no new problems, quick and clear service. I recommend getting car service here and I will be going back.
