Chuck and his team are incredibly helpful and knowledgeable! Since moving to the area, I exclusively go to this shop because I know I will receive amazing care. The people that work here care about the longevity of your car and will work with you. They're very fairly priced and well worth the wait, if you come in at a busy time. Couldn't recommend this business more!

Mother accidentally pulled into wrong parking lot. She went next door for her business. The manager pulled a car behind my mother's car blocking it. Starts to belittle my mom. Telling her he has called a tow truck. My mother made a honest mistake, and was sincerely apologizing. He wanted her to feel ashamed. Finally moved his car and said she was lucky. Manager needs anger management. And learn how to speak to a woman. *Update* Don't believe the respones from owner in these reviews. I left a message with customer service and human resource. Never heard back from them. Please don't believe the owners cares. If they did chuck would not be employed by them.

First-time visit, for state inspection, just because it's conveniently close. Had a great experience. Super-friendly front desk, very clear and personable, waiting room tidy. Got a good vibe from the place. Will be back.

I was the first customer and like always they were very friendly and professional. I waited for 22-23 minutes for them to complete my oil change, and I was out of the door! It didn't take long at all. I was very pleased! :) Update: September 28th, 2024, I wish I could give this place 20 STARS! Chuck got my 88 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme up and running in no time! Thank you Chuck I appreciate all that you do! :)

Frauds! They overcharge you and they got my dad too. The guy Chuck is the problem don't be fooled by his cheerful attitude it's all a game he's a Hustler he is going to make his commission one way or the other. Beware look around first before you go to these people. Get basic work done to your vehicle that's it. Good luck!

I took my Mazda 3 car to be service in March. Due to my car overheating and A/c not working. chuck that’s over the shop diagnosed it. Told me everything that’s wrong. He supposedly fixed all the issues and I paid a pretty penny for everything. He had the car for 3 days. When it was supposedly been fixed. I picked up my car and I saw an engine light on. I asked why it was on. Chuck had me to bring the car back the same day to tell me it was a coolant sensor which he replaced. Here it is April 27th. I’m still bringing my car up there to figure out why my car overheating. Chuck is rude as hell and stay yelling at me when I bring my car up there. Like I’m the problem. This is the worst experience I ever had. I will never recommend anyone to come to this location. I want to sue!!

Chuck McCauley, manager at Precision Tune 5280 N. Roxboro St in Durham is a great communicator, tells you what you need for your vehicle and definitely works with you if you do know what you want. The certified mechanics and technicians are professional, with excellent expertise, obviously structured, organized, and detailed to bring you quality products and services. They go above and beyond and I would recommend them to those in need of excellent car car. I, myself had repair work done when a hit and run driver damaged my vehicle. It was flawless work on the front bumper grille and a pierced radiator. In addition, the next day I purchased a new battery from them. Highly recommended. You will save time which is money.

The staff was really nice and professional. This was the fastest State Inspection I ever had. I dropped my car off and went next door to eat. Next thing I know, my car is done. I was extremely impressed!

I recently visit your location at 5280 N. Roxboro St., Durham, NC 27712 To get an oil change, unfortunately my experience was extremely disappointing After receiving my car back, I discovered that my change was stolen from my vehicle during the service. This is unacceptable and has left me feeling frustrated and distrustful of your service. I trusted your company with my vehicle and did not expect to deal with a violation. As a result, I will not be returning for future service and will be sharing my experience with others to caution them. I would appreciate if you could address this issue and internally and ensure such incidents do not happen to other customers. Also, when I noticed the change being missing I contacted Chuck the person Assisted me with my oil change, he informed me Sorry this had happened to me and if I can come back Location And he will give me change that he has I did inform him it’s Principal of my property being taken for my vehicle Chuck also asked me not to reach out to corporate because he was going to contact his district manager Regards to my Property being taken out of my vehicle then today I receive a survey so I decided to complete the survey to aware others

Total waste of time. I don't understand why the website (and the service rep when you call) allow you to select a time if ALL appointments are on a first come first serve basis. I spoke with the service rep twice and confirmed I would be bringing the car in at 9:00 am. Had requested that time on the website as well. When I got there, I was told it was an hour wait. After 90 minutes they still had not taken the car back for the emission test. When I asked for my keys back, suddenly they were going to take my car back in 5 min. Just refused to give them any business. If you go to this location, don't bother calling or using the website to select a time. Plan on being there all day.

Went to get a pre-purchase inspection and was told $69 over the phone. Then I was told $129 in person. Very rude attitude. I just went somewhere else. Thanks,

Only reason they have three stars if because the front desk staff is extremely nice! I specifically asked what the time would be for an oil change to be completed and was told 30-45 minutes for the oil change. I was in by 8:55. I didn’t leave until 11am. This is extremely disappointing when you have customers waiting around for more than double the amount of time you estimated. When I asked how much longer they would need, I was told “just a few minutes” twice, and both of those “few minutes” exceeded 15 minute wait times respectively (to bring my car down and to drive my car out). If you have all day to wait around, then sure go here, otherwise I wouldn’t come back due to the excessive wait times for an oil change.

I was headed to a vet appointment with my dog in the car when I ran over something on N Roxboro that punctured my tire. I happened to pull into Precision Tune as I was trying to get off the road to address my flattening tire. I explained the situation to the woman at the front desk who was very kind and understanding. They let me bring my dog into the waiting area while they were putting on my spare tire, charged me a very fair price and did the work in less than 30min. It was very hot out and I'm very thankful they were able to help me out.

Customer service was great, but the parts might not be as good as they claim. They replaced both of my rear wheel bearings a year ago, and they need to be replaced already. Thankfully they are under warranty and will be replaced again by them for free, but I don't plan on getting a part replaced by them in the future. Hopefully these new bearings will last longer than one year.

I went for an inspection and while the service was good, I did feel some kind of way about situation involving my headlight. The bulb went out and needed replacement to pass inspection. It's a $18 bulb. They wanted to charge $50 in labor for something that takes 30 seconds. It is literally a plug and Play situation. While I understand that they are a for-profit business, that is excessive pricing. I guess that works when you don't know how things work. But, common Sense would tell you that a light bulb would not be a complicated issue unless the access is blocked by another part in the engine compartment. That wasn't the case here. I went to the Auto parts store and bought a bulb and popped out the old one and popped in the new one in 1 minute. I have no problems going there for inspections because those are set rates. But this makes me second guess any type of service that I may need to get and what that pricing might be like.

Prior to taking my truck in for an alignment I called this location to ask about the sizing as I have a full-size truck. I specifically asked about my making model truck even had the wheelbase dimensions and weight for him to ensure that when I brought my vehicle to the appointment that they would be able to do . His response was “ We won’t know until i See it “ Which is completely untrue as I’ve worked with Alignment machine machines in the past. On my way home from work, I stopped by and offered to let him look at it. He then mentioned that he couldn’t take any measurements of the rack or ensure that I would even get any service when I showed up to the appointment. Which again is untrue. Each alignment rack from the manufacturer has specifications on the length and weight capacities of vehicle vehicles most of the time on a tag. You can Google this information easily. Or the rack can be measured with a tape measure In about 10 seconds. Instead of taking the initiative, he decided to sit on the phone and talk about a speaker that he was trying to sell to some fb marketplace guy. Would not recommend if they’re not even willing to check something that simple I couldn’t imagine what they wouldn’t check working on a car.
