These guys are honestly the best auto repair place around. If you want the work on your case or truck done right and a thorough check of your vehicle, these are the guys to have that work done. They are honest and have never overcharged me for anything ever!!

CROOKS! I brought my car there for an alternator issue. The price was Great, but they took very long with my vehicle. I went there to see what the issue was and I saw my radiator hose folded, I didn’t think anything of it, but after waiting 3 days for my car they call me to tell me it was the wrong alternator. So I go there to bring the correct alternator, and after a day they call me to tell me it’s all set... I drive my car and radiator fluid was leaking... I call them to tell them the issue they tell me bring it in and we will fix it. They call me 2 days later to pick it up, and they charged for their mistake the hose that was folded cracked and I was charged a extra 200 for that. I turn my car on and the belt was making noises, the air conditioner belt was making noise, I told them my car wasn’t making any noises when I brought it in they sprayed something and it went away, after using my air conditioner, my air conditioner belt broke... and my car was driving funny also, I brought my car to another mechanic for them to tell me that my transmission fluid plug was loosened. Again my car did not have any issues but the alternator issue, i believe they sabotaged my car so they can keep bringing it to them so they can get more money off of me it’s ridiculous. I would not bring your car to this establishment, this so called business they have. I see a lot of people here have good things to say about them I’m sure they are family and friends that are doing this. They are thieves!

Complete waste of time! Owner is full of attitude and unhelpful! Never going there again! When we made the appointment weeks ago we mentioned that this is an electrical issue, if you dont want to fix the car, just say so.. Also brought my car to firestone after, they were so nice, they fixed my car and it turns out it was a fuse box issue not even electrical cause they took the time to actually look at my car not make judgements beforehand..

I know I’m a few months late on my review but I wanted to share my experience with this company. I am a carnival operator who had a truck break down during the big E and was referred to this company by locals, called them up and told them what was going on and told me to bring it in Wednesday. Initially told me it could be up to three or two days before he even had a chance to look at it. Mid day Wednesday he called me telling me he had looked at it and found the issues, he also said he had found a minor issue and wanted to know if we wanted him to fix it. I said yes and thanked him for his honesty. Thursday morning I got a call saying that the truck was ready to be picked up. To my surprise the job that I was told was gonna take several days was already done. When we got there that morning he went through everything he did, also told us about a few more things that could become a problem in the future. He then thanked us for the business and wished us good luck. We couldn’t have been happier with the speed, politeness, and affordability with the services provided by this business. I personally would return to this business and would recommend it to any of the locals even though we are not from the area.

Great ownership and staff. Will treat you like family. They do it right and do not push unnecessary repairs. They go out of their way to keep your car in the best shape you can afford. That being said, they will be honest if it's simply not safe to hold off on a repair. Awesome place... go see Rick & his team!

Great place to bring your car. They get it right the first time. very fair prices, and very trustworthy. Also very busy, they are usually booked up about 1 to 2 weeks ahead. So call for an appointment to make sure your car is repaired asap. I have owned my auto repair shop for about 3 decades, I'm out of the game now, but this is the only place I will take my cars. to.

Rick is the awsome. Real humble guy won't di** you around tell you need spark plugs starter, and a new engine when all it was a loose/leaking gasket or something. The whole team is great always willing to help and make right if they mess something up. I got a flat tire on on the way back home from the shop one day and made it into the driveway but could not get the thing off for the life of me because it had never been removed. I called the shop and Rick sent Justin one of the workers there to give me a hand he came with all the necessary tools to remove it and we got it off in no time now that's next level service absolutely recommend. Rick and his staff have always performed quality work on my vehicle for about 8 years now. They go above and beyond fixing every problem I've ever had with my vehicle. I even had bumper and headlight damage and they fixed both so well, I can barely see where the damage was! They could have told me to go to a body shop but instead they fixed both issues perfectly. I always know I'm getting a great deal at Preferred Auto. I have never been overcharged for any service or repair. 100% one of the worst mechanics I have ever dealt with. Brought the car back several times, and was told it was fixed every single time. Rick is a very irritable individual, who doesn’t own up to his word. Years ago it wasn’t like this, but everything has changed, he will take your money without fixing your car. I would highly suggest finding another repair shop, this isn’t the Preferred it used to be.

Rick and the crew are top notch when you see the cars in the lot you will see why they are busy. I have an 07 explorer sport trac and I needed a timing chain the one that needed to be replaced required the engine to come out I thought this was going to be big bucks to my surprise it turned out very reasonable and they did a great job fixing it then about 10 days later had to have the front exhaust pipe and muffler fixed went back to Preferred and again the cost was very reasonable now my truck runs like new very happy about the work that was done and I'm sure you will be too. Excellent repair shop for all your needs. Thank you job well done
