I’ve had interactions with Pat’s for well over a decade, and more importantly, with several different autos. My livelihood revolves around absolute dependability, no one knows why those relays, fuse, etc. days hang you out. I’ve been 35 years in business, countless areas, and why I say 5 stars, which is elite. Is because when its really urgent, like costing you an entire client, campaign, or series, without sacrificing other patrons cars, nor any skill levels, Pats will do, ‘whatever is possible’, to get you up and out. 100% certified techs, master craftsmen, state of art diagnostics, **and needed OEM Programmers/coder/* several names but there are several things requiring a matching Brand plug in computer that resets, recodes, programs your vehicle. Many shops will send those out to Dealers, to save on overhead. I get it, but I know I’m different now than I was 30, 20, yrs ago, today I miss nothing. And that has saved the day and so fair honest prices. Certified techs, super fixture in town type Business, they’re going nowhere! It’s easy to be a faithful before you know it. I call em l8ke I know em! A+

I stumbled across Pat's Auto Sales on line, when doing a search for convertibles earlier this year. I spotted a beautiful Mercedes 2002 SLK, convertible hardtop on-line, with low mileage, in pristine condition at an amazing price. I checked out their website and became totally intrigued with the collection of unique, impressive looking cars that were reasonably priced. I grew up in Western MA, and was surprised I had never heard of Pat's Auto Sales. I jumped in my car and set out to find this 3rd Generation, family business, located on a quiet West Springfeld neighborhood street. I am always on guard when buying a vehicle, and am especially cautious when buying from a "used car dealer". I didn't let myself get too caught up in the excitement of looking at the beautiful, rare, Mercedes-Benz roadster...and wrote up a list of questions to bring with me. I met the owner Phil, the grandson of Pat...who founded the business over 70 years ago, and his Dad who was working....and instantly liked these guys. They were so friendly, showed me around their dealership and struck me right away as the type of dealer I would feel 100% comfortable in buying a car from. I fell in love with the Mercedes, put a deposit down to hold it, and came back to buy it a day later. A very smooth transaction with Phil addressing all of my questions, and "nit picky" concerns. He ordered a new cupholder, a side mirror to replace the original that was slighty blemished, had me jump in his car to accompany him to the Mercedes dealership for a small part, ordered a new hood "opening arm" because he didn't like the way the original one closed too fast...something I never noticed. I was so impressed with Phil, his Dad, their on site mechanic, their knowledge of cars, the friendly woman working in the office, and the unique collection of clean cars at Pats Auto Sales...that I came back with my 91 year old father in law, a retired car salesman, to introduce him and show him around Pat's and he loved the place as well. My car buying experience could not have been better! Phil made a 50 mile roundtrip to deliver the vehicle to my house, and I was blown away by how good it looked. Phil smiled and said he had his intern spend half the day detailing it for me. Anyone reading this who may be wary of "car salesmen"...let me say this: Phil is as honest as the day is long, will not try to "sell you"...but will try to please you. I was as skeptical as they come...but Phil, and his iconic, family auto sales business, are the polar opposite of any negative stereotypes, or poor experiences people have had elsewhere. Take a drive to Pat's Auto Sales, at 179 Bosworth St, West Spfld. (across from Big E)...and check them out, you will be happy you did. I never bought a car, and felt like I made a friend while doing it....until now.
