Water pump went out on my car a few months ago and Pronto replaced it. The water pump went out again this week and Pronto was quick to get it fixed for free since it was under the 1 year warranty. Glad they owned the problem and remedied it quickly. Glad to know honest guys are still in the industry.

Listen. These guys are amazing. Ive been here 3x, and each time i was treated very well. These mechanics are on their A game! - its said that you cant have good, fast and cheap....I say go to Pronto Lube on Fairview and you can. I was a die hard dealership slave, when there was something wrong with my car. Not anymore. - Honest, masters at their trade, and very professional.

I bought an old Honda civic that had been sitting since August of last year. I knew one of the first things I needed to do was get an oil change. This car isn't anything fancy. You might call it a piece of crap. But, I still need it to be a point A to point B kinda car. I searched around online and after reviewing a few places, Pronto Lube on Overland had some really good reviews, compared to others. Now I know why. Exceptional service, fair price and Very quick. Clay, the owner, did what I asked without trying to sell me on anything else to make a buck. This car has a lot of small problems that will eventually need some attention. While on a cross country trip from Maine to Idaho and the Oregon coast, i called up Pronto for an oil change and to replace the low beam headlight bulbs. They got me in quickly, got the work done quickly with very good quality of work. All staff members i dealt with were very nice and helpful, definitely would recommend!

Clay and his guys are the absolute BEST mechanics in Boise. You've probably had the same horrible experiences at dealer service shops that I have.Pronto is the exact opposite. Pronto does fast, quality work at a fair price. And they stand behind their work. Clay (the owner) is an ethical and honest guy, and it shows in his employees and their quality of work. I'll never take any car that I own anywhere else. They're that good!

I love this place. Clay and Sheldon both run the place, and they each do VERY good work. I’ve strictly only had my cars fixed there rather than anywhere else. Their prices are unbeatable. Plus, I trust the staff at Pronto Lube with anything and everything my car could ever need. They’ve never made a mistake in the 6 years I’ve been coming to them to get work done on my cars. Just had my blower motor fixed in my Scion and it only took them about one day to get it all fixed. It was an extremely reasonable price as well. Come here for anything you need! They’ll take good care of you. They’re very honest and straightforward.

My mom has took in her car to clay, so I figured that we would have the same experience However, that was not the case. The first time it was pricey But we still trusted him. The second time well, let's just say not so much and even the third time it was worse. He charged us 995 dollars to fix the arm bearing because I cannot go over 60 miles an hour when we got the vehicle back I couldn't even go over 40 so the problem got worse. When I went to ask him about it, he was like let me take a look. He drove the car around the block pulled into the bay. I even heard him being questioned by his own worker asking him. What did he do so he comes back up and he pulls my car out and says well there you go. And I said I'm confused. I just wanna know what you did because the problem is not fixed. He said let's go to the office. I can give you a breakdown but when we walked in, he said you know what I don't wanna work on your car anymore because you have an attitude. He also said why did you wait so long to bring it in which I explained it's an extra vehicle that I don't use that often I said, but it doesn't matter if he said you fix something and he didn't do it then what ? And he just looked at me like I was stupid. I have given him over $3000 to fix other issues And the fact that this was our third time you would think that would be a little more respectful. I'm not saying that he treats everybody like this, All I can say is my experience so be careful everybody.

We were in a real pinch with my daughter's Honda CRV, so stopped in to see if the guys at Pronto could fit me in this week before my daughter's camping trip. They were pretty busy, but dropped it off in the morning and they had it done before closing. Clay, the owner has helped me out a couple of times over the years and he's always been super friendly. He even gave me a ride home from his shop one time when I didn't have a ride. A simple and fair, old school shop!
