My car broke down while passing through SLC on the way to Moab at 5pm the night before Thanksgiving. With nothing open we managed to get a U-Haul pickup and continued on. Friday morning I tried calling several mechanics but Steve is the only one who answered the phone. I explained problem, where I'd left the car and in less than an hour he'd diagnosed the issue (bad plug coil) and 40 minutes later he called to say the car was fixed. Absolutely professional and prompt. He saved our trip and we're extremely grateful.

I needed a new battery, so I went to AutoZone…The technician there was trying to help me install it because it’s a newer vehicle and it is difficult to install the battery. All of the techs were having a difficult time figuring out how to disassemble the wires, battery terminals, etc. and luckily Steve, the owner of Rhodes mobile auto repair was there! He figured out how to disassemble all of the wires and connections on the battery, took everything apart and installed the new battery within minutes! Halfway through the process, he informed me that he didn’t even work at AutoZone! My car now runs great, and I’m back on the road! He didn’t charge me anything!! I will be using Rhodes mobile for my mechanic from now on!

We have a very unique story about the help they gave. My wife's car was struggling to keep a charge. We took it AutoZone. They helped us get a new battery but they told us that the alternator was also bad. They told us about Rhodes Auto Repair to fix the alternator. Ben came to replace the alternator. He did a great job and very quick. A couple days later we were having issues again with the charge system. We tried to get a hold of Rhodes Auto Repair and didn't get a response. I than reached out to Ben the mechanic that replaced the alternator. He told me that he quit working for Rhodes and he would come help. But my wife got a hold of Rhodes and the alternator was under warranty with them. So we had them come back out to check it out. Steve came and told us that he was thinking it was because of the tension belt. He also explained that he was pretty busy so it would take sometime. But he gave us a date that he would come back to fix it. We never heard from Rhodes Auto Repair again. I lost Ben's number so I called AutoZone. Riley was able to connect be back with Ben cause he has started working with AutoZone. They were very helpful and quick to response to my needs. I went to AutoZone right after the phone call they looked at the car the tension belt was completely fine. We had a second bad alternator they hooked me up with a brand new alternator and I paid just the labor fees. I really appreciate how quick and helpful and professional about the situation.
