Not enough stars but five will have to do for now. They got me in and out fast when they did my Lyft Inspection. What I liked the most is they didn't try to upsell me. That's a huge bonus in my book. My husband and I recently took my SUV to Rock Hill Automotive for A/C repair. It was our 1st time using their services but it will now be our permanent home for all our vehicles maintenance. Dwight was very kind and helpful getting us in for service. The mechanics were very thorough and knowledgeable. We are very satisfied with the overall quality of service and our customer service experience. The prices for their services seem very reasonable compared to other shops in the area. I was having issues with my alternator on my 2004 Silverado and the Folks at Rock Hill Auto took care of it right away for me. They diagnosed the issues, consulted me on the problem, and I gave them the green light to fix the problem. They had it taken care of within hours and back on the road. The cost was fair and the service was great. They are not pushy and just fix what needs to be fixed. Would recommend them to anyone for service or repairs. EDIT: I have been a customer here now for over 6 years and have always been well taken care of. The owners obviously take a lot of pride in their shop, because they provide great service which is always above and beyond normal expectations. The managers are great to work with and always provide me with a great explanation of any potential issues I may need to be concerned about with my vehicles. Dwight and Ryan specifically always take the time to answer my questions related to repairs and potential issues and give me really great technical explanations for why things may be failing or need attention. It feels good to know I am not being taken advantage of every time I bring my cars in like some mechanics tend to do. Also, the 3 year 36,000 mile warranty from an independent shop is unheard of around here. That alone tells you they actually do care about their customers and backing up their work.

The entire staff at rock hill automotive was phenomenal! Dwight was incredibly helpful on the phone and in the shop. After the diagnostic was done on my car, there were very detailed notes and pictures. Incredibly satisfied! Very fair price and super friendly!

On the hot Friday afternoon before Labor Day, while on the way to the funeral home to make my mother’s arrangements, my Suburban overheated. After calling several area shops that were too busy, Charles agreed to see if they could help me. This in spite of being booked themselves. The shop’s owner, Lee, checked it out. He diagnosed it, replaced my thermostat and had me on my way home to Georgia in a little over an hour. Mercifully it was a simple problem. I can’t recommend Rock Hill Automotive highly enough!! We took our Durango there to have an a/c issue fixed. 1 issue we had that it wasn't blowing cold air 2nd issue was that it was making a noise like a hissing sound like something was leaking which we thought could be the refrigerant. It was noted after inspection that the sound was coming from the ac system itself because of how low the refrigerant was. The reason for not having cold air was obviously there wasn't any and that a leak was discovered from the low side Schrader valve. It was also noted that we may need a cooling fan assembly. They warranty their work which is good. 3 weeks later we go back with same issues. The hissing noise like it's leaking refrigerant again and no cold air. This time it's leaking from the condenser and the noise is from the cooling fan assembly if I'm correct on what the cashier said. He made sure to mention that they noted that. Well they also noted the noise was from ac system itself being low. When asked how come the condenser wasn't caught during first diagnosis if they properly checked the ac system. Cashier just said we can't find all the leaks. It made me feel like they trying this and trying that which cost customers more money that way. Had they caught the condenser the first time and maybe noted it this wouldn't be an issue because at least we would have been aware. Cashier just seemed rude and bothered because I had the audacity to question him. If they believe in "cheap work isn't good and good work isn't cheap" which I've seen that mentioned in several reviews all I ask is that these problems be addressed the first time if they're as good as they claim since it is reflected in pricing. I That's not good for for business. I'm sure the owner or customer service rep will respond and defend his business. Ultimately every car will need repairs but who wants to spend money with a company that will make you feel this way.

Absolutely unacceptable! Took my car to this shop, and they completely missed that my upper control arm was loose—a serious safety issue! On top of that, they returned my car with the ABS light on, traction control light on, and a power steering error, NONE of which were there before. How does a shop manage to make things worse instead of fixing them? Either they’re careless, or they just don’t know what they’re doing. I called them to explain my frustration, and their response was, "So what do you want from us?" Seriously? Instead of taking responsibility, they brushed me off. One of the workers said his boss would call me back, but it’s been TWO WEEKS, and I’ve heard nothing. Terrible service, zero accountability. Save yourself the headache and go to a shop that actually knows how to fix cars AND treat customers with respect!

We have taken our truck to be repaired for the same issue 6 times. We paid the 1st visit, but they didn't charge us the last 5 times. Every single time they replaced the gas pump it would have the same problems again. The last time we were told it needed something electrical fixed, which was what caused all of the gas pumps to fail. At first they were going to charge us but ended up fixing it for free. They told us if it messed up again they wouldn't fix it for free again. Guess what happened less than a month later? Same problems! I definitely won't be taking it back there when I paid for it to be fixed the first time and it has never really been fixed.

My mother is 70 years old and I called to get an estimate for tires, brakes and oil change where I was told she would need to come in to get a quote that is absolutely ridiculous she just needs an estimate to see if she can fit everything in her budget or if I need to assist her. I guess I'll find a shop that actually wants to work rather than bringing people in attempts to upsell them on additional services

For anyone who has seen my reviews (or rants) before, this is a must read! I'm am very judgmental and picky about local businesses; I DO NOT mind leaving bad reviews, when it's called for. I feel like local businesses should be doing much better work than the chained competition to show people they are better than the big dogs. I carefully pay attention to their customer service, and if it's for technical things I pay even more attention. The guys/team at Rock Hill Automotive are ... legitimately awesome and will NOT let you down! Let's define the word "awesome": "Something which inspires awe." Today, 4/5/18, their technical knowledge and customer service inspired awe! Not only did they do an amazing job, but they were extremely knowledgeable, incredibly courteous, and great guys! I thoroughly checked their work (on replacing my 2003 Mustang GT's intake manifold) and it looked perfect; I trust this place. The pictures do not show, but they even cleaned 'the valley' (a dip/recess between the heads where the intake manifold sits)! Thank you so much Ryan for your hard work! Do NOT think twice about coming here! If you need something done right, get it done right here.

If I could give 10 stars, I would. 10 out of a 10 on everything. Customer service was amazing from the get go. I took my car in with a bent wheel from hitting a massive pothole in town the other day. While Nissan wanted to charge outrageous money for a replacement, Rock Hill Automotive was able to repair it. Thank you John for getting me in and out so quickly.
