This is a great auto repair shop. They can handle more than just auto electrics, they are an all-around repair shop. They are owner operated so they are not some big corporation, you are likely to run into the owner/repair man. They're very friendly here and I would highly recommend bringing your vehicle to be repaired

Rod is the only petson who touches my vehicles or my friends and family. Several times i got estimates for hundreds of dollars up to 1200. from other places. A 1200 quote from raben turned out to be under 300 with rod. This guy treats you right and does a very fair pricing. Dont go anywhere else.

Rod Woods wasted my time by not checking out my truck but instead, he told me a story. Said his car was doing the same thing and said it was the torque converter... I knew nothing was done cause he didn't charge me... I went to Condi Auto Electric and they actually checked it out and found the trouble... So do yourself a favor and call Condi Auto Electric, great service work, not story time....

Very knowledgeable mechanic. Was able to diagnose and fix electrical problem that other shop unable to locate. Cost was lower than I expected as well. Win win in my book. I was impressed while there another customer was being told the problem on there auto. Was told we think this is problem it will cost xxx but we can try this and it may only be x. Other shops may have went expensive route and not given possible cheaper fix.

Fast service! I dropped off my vehicle the night before they said they could get it worked on and got a call that it was ready by 10am. The staff was friendly and put some preventative measures in place to make sure I didn't have a future problem. Definitely would recommend!

I've been going to Rod Wood's Auto for years and I've never had a bad experience there. The mechanics are top notch. My dad has been going to Rod Wood for a long time . He is the one who suggested that I go there. Rod Wood's Auto has very competitive pricing. And I highly suggest them for women drivers. The woman at the desk is no nonsense about your perspective repairs. She is friendly and very knowledgeable though. You can trust the whole team from the time you drop off your keys to when you pick up your car. Repair times are usually short. I won't go anywhere else.

Very trustworthy and friendly. The best place to get your car fixed. My dad knew Rod for years and before he passed he told me to always take my car to Rod because he knows what he’s doing.

I have taken two vehicles there in the past 3 months. The first one wouldn’t start, seemed like a starter made sense. After they installed that they called and said the alternator was bad too, 1100$ I got my truck back with multiple dash lights that weren’t on before. Still have the traction light Ron told me was due to a wheel speed sensor needing to be reprogrammed and did not accept responsibility for that having anything to do with the work they performed About a month later, I had a friend with a similar situation I sent to Ron store . It was an alternator that was bad. 500 bucks for a new alternator and within a week The car won’t start, several things with his car were not working correctly seat warmers, and other electrical things were not working whenever the car was returned. Have since had Ron replace the Starter and will wait to see how things turn out. I know it sounds silly to go back somewhere if you’re not happy with the work they do but 10 years ago Ron did great work and took care of an alternator for me. Very cheaply was able to rebuild when someone else said it need to be replaced, but it seems like these days just throw parts on till they figure out something that fixes the car and instead of troubleshooting thoroughly first.

If you’ve never heard of an honest mechanic you have now! I brought my Sienna van here because the hazards were flashing. I tried replacing the fuse the relay switch and whatever fixes the internet had to offer. I got an estimate from a mechanic out of town to replace the signal arm for $700. Rod Woods found the real problem (shorted switch) and repaired it in leas than 48 hours for much less. Will be using them for all of my auto electric needs. They also came recommended from Full Throttle Auto and Firestone.

I took my sienna van with AC issues to Rod. I had paid to have the system completely replaced the year before at another shop. It failed after a few months so I took it to Rods based on reviews. I called and had it in the following week. He took it apart, identified what had happened and why. Replaced the parts with a 2 year warranty. Overall, it was a great experience. My only criticism would be the level of communication was low/it was difficult to get a hold of them while the van was in. Potentially a me thing after our last experience at the other shop though!

How many fuel pumps does it take to fix a car ? 3 apparently , And if you forget the bracket on the fuel line you should charge $162 to fix it , it was duck taped cause it died in the middle of the road with children in the car, $162 for a poverty stricken family that barely keeps fed , did you even have to buy the bracket you left off guys , I got laughed at for worrying. About it

Hired those guy to rewire the main wiring harness on my truck. All he did was put the wrong spark plugs in, gapped them wrong, and charged me $230 before he would give me back my keys and vehicle. He's a crook. After speaking with 2 of his employees, they said that he does this more often than would think. I'm currently looking for a lawyer. I don't recommend trusting this guy with your vehicle.

I bought a non-running 2010 Ford F250 with a 1995 Cummins 5.9L swap in it, and after getting a new key and batteries for it realized the engine was good, but the truck would not start with the key. The 007 Lock and Key guy told me this shop does great work and they could help me out if I can’t figure it out myself on what is wrong, and I was sadly unable to find out what was wrong after going through the entire ignition circuit on the truck. I brought the truck to Rod Wood’s with almost no warning to them in advance, and they were willing to help me out and take on a very needy project truck in hopes of finding why the key would not start the truck. After a few weeks they called me and asked if I was okay with having an auxiliary button installed so the truck can start, just not with the key. I was more than satisfied with that being done, so they did it. But Rod also out of curiosity kept looking into the electrical systems of the truck to see why it wouldn’t start with the key even though it seemed everything was in order. Turns out, buying a not running project truck from someone you don’t know can bite you in the butt a bit. They informed me a few wires were cut to the PCM when the swap was done in order to get the transmission from the Ford drivetrain to work with the Cummins engine, so it would never start with the key unless extensive rewiring was done to correct a botch job. They ran a very thorough diagnosis when they had time between other customers, and ultimately helped me out immensely by getting the button installed to start the truck. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone that needs electrical help on their vehicle. It did take a while for me to get my truck back, but I have another vehicle I daily drive, so being without the truck was not an inconvenience by any means. Rod and maybe his wife who answers the phone are very honest people and I have had no issues at all with getting updates when needed on the status of the work being performed on the truck. Rod went above and beyond on his diagnosis to really get to the bottom of the issues with the truck, and I very much appreciate that. Shops willing to help you out and put in the time to get to the bottom of your issues seem to be fewer and further between these days, and Rod Wood is one of those few left that has done me more than right on something 4 other shops were not even willing to take a look at.
