This is a long review, yet please read. If I could give a 100 rating to this crew I would in a heartbeat. The quality of work and customers service was outstanding. I will be forever grateful for the not only the work done on my vehicle, but customer service that went above and beyond. On my way to the eye doctor across from Roster Ridge in Sterling Ridge, I had the unfortunate moment in order to prevent an accident I was forced to run along the curb resulting in two flat tires. I had never used Rooster Ridge before so without notice, I limped across the street where I met Brian and Braden at the front desk and explained what happened and how long would it take. I could tell they were extremely busy as they explained I would have to leave the vehicle and pick it up later in the day. As I was explaining that I lived nearby yet had no other vehicle and my 19 year old cat had an very important appt to get necessary fluids, Serena the manager came out of her office and said don't worry she would help me and Sidney would take care of my car. She immediately drove me home, waited about 30 minutes talking to me about my cat, drove us to the vet where she offered to wait, but I told her I would call her when done. She was very close and could check on the shop. When I called she was immediately back and took us home. Due to still no transportation and the precarious health of my cat, Serena made arrangements to have Braden deliver my car and one of his crew pick him up. Serena even followed up to ensure the delivery had been made and all was to my satisfaction. I had my car back, yet my cat had a setback and passed away that day. I was distraught, yet because of this crew, I was fortunate to have a few more hours with her to pass away in the comfort of my arms.

UPDATED 10/29/2025- Although the owner posted that they would be in contact with me, 6 days later no contact. I paid another $199 and Christian Brothers gave me a thorough inspection on my car. I was told I needed an additional and necessary $8000 worth of work done on my car. I won’t go into all the details here however- I believe either the mechanics at Rooster Ridge don’t know anything at all about cars or they deliberately withheld everything that was wrong with my car and led me to believe all I needed was a tune up and a new battery for $1800! I was forced to purchase a new car because it made no sense to put another $8,000 into a 2015 Volkswagen Passat with 149,000 miles on it! I believe Rooster Ridge knew this would be my decision and instead elected to be dishonest and take my money instead, I believe that the rep at the front desk offered to “reset the lights on the dash if you want to get rid of it” because she knew that’s exactly what I should’ve done in the first place. Had I been given the whole truth about my car, this is exactly what I would’ve done. I’m now paying Koalifi $300 a month (I can’t afford) for repairs I never should’ve gotten and I’m paying for a new car note and an increase in car insurance for full coverage. Devastated and deceived. I was told all I needed to pass the emissions test & get my car registration was a tune up since my check engine light was on, this would turn it off. First, I was told it would be $179 for the diagnostic and told it would be included in the total if I got the work done. Then I was quoted $1900 for the tune up, that included a $345 battery. I gasped at the price and then I was told “I can help you out on the price”, The price was lowered to $1600. I didn’t have it so the shop introduced me to Koalafi- high interest loan option for folks with not so good credit. When I went into the portal to finish up the loan process , the cost of repair was $1700. I had to call the shop back and remind them they quoted me $1600, with the “help”. Four days later, every light on my dash board lit up! The EPC, steering, engine, airbag, tire gauge, ABS, BRAKE, the speedometer and gas gauge stopped working. It was also making a piercing noice with the red BRAKE light. These lights would go in and off - but mistake stayed on. I missed a half day of work to take it back to Rooster Ridge since this was an emergency! They proceeed to tell me that now I needed a whole new ABS system that would cost me anywhere from $1800 to $5000! I asked them why they didn’t know this from the diagnostic that I paid for? I was told how could they since those lights weren’t on. I asked do mechanics always need a diagnostic to tell what’s wrong with a car? The response was no, there’s also a 3 point inspection done. Then she flips thru the papers and says I see they did one and only found that tire front driver’s side tire needs replacing. Well since they didn’t tell me that the first time and I’d have never known I guess until the tire blew! They reset the lights and said maybe that would help but if the came back on, I’d need the ABS system replaced. They did offer to “help” me out again…, I was told “Well if you want to get rid of the car, bring it buy and I’ll reset those lights again for you.” Now I’m stuck with a bad loan I can’t afford and a car I can’t drive nor afford to fix. And makes no sense to pour more money into. I feel really taken advantage of. And the sad part is, I really liked the owner and he seemed like a good guy. He said he was a Christian.

If your car breaks down in the parking lot, save yourself a lot of money, and a huge headache, and tow…or even push, your car somewhere else. There is a reason why their Yelp reviews are so horrible. Terrible customer service. Triple the cost estimate (thousands more) and they do not inform you of the cost difference until it’s time to pick up the car. They do not back up their work. The exterior paint was scratched down to the metal when we picked up the car. Serena, the GM has hung up on us when we have tried to get any kind of help resolving all the countless issues we have and refuses to escalate the issue to anyone above her to help us. It’s been pretty unbelievable. If you care about your car and enjoy having any money in your bank account, go somewhere else. If I YouTubed it I’m pretty sure I could have done a better job, shed fewer tears, and been able to put another kid through college.

i kid yall not, they quoted me 899.00 for a service on my malibu... told me my thermostat went bad and that i needed to replace the housing and thermostat... my coolant was low. MY COOLANT WAS LOW. actually insane. lady upfront was hard headed and didnt even budge on the price. they did get me in pretty fast tho. highly discourage yall coming to this place for any sort of service. 30$ vs 900$. insane man just sad

Since Rooster ridge replied to my original post with private information about my experience, I decided to include the full incident as it unfolded. So here you go: I had a very poor experience at Rooster Ridge Car Care and would strongly advise others to avoid this place. On New Year’s Eve, I went in for a simple flat tire repair. Instead of focusing on fixing the issue, they immediately began recommending unnecessary repairs, including replacing all the tires. I explained that my vehicle is practically new with under 27,000 miles, but they doubled down and showed me photos of cracked tires that did not even appear to be my tires, which raised serious concerns about honesty. I told them to just fix the hole. They claimed the tire was repaired, then began recommending additional work — first pads and rotors, then changed their story to just brake pads, quoting $333. I declined and left. Overnight, the tire lost air completely. The next day (after New Year’s), I returned to have them look at it. The person at the counter was extremely rude and unprofessional, claiming that “by law” they could not attempt to fix it again and that I probably needed a new tire. I left and went to a nationally recognized tire chain, where the tire was fixed quickly. They informed me that no previous repair work had been performed on the tire at all. I returned to Rooster Ridge Car Care to request a refund since the issue was never fixed. Instead of handling this professionally, the same employee became defensive and refused a refund. She claimed there was video of the technician performing the work but refused to show it when asked. When I pointed out that even if work had been done, it clearly failed, she became combative and abruptly asked me to leave the store. This entire experience felt misleading, unprofessional, and dishonest. I would not recommend this business to anyone and suggest finding a more transparent and reputable shop elsewhere.

5 STARS! I had my f250 in after oil pump went out, that got me in fast and showed me where why my oil pump failed, very trustworthy they replaced timing chains and oil pump same day! Outstanding customer service and with warranty on parts and labor 5 year 50k! 👏👏👏 I highly recommend you use them and talk to Serena she was wonderful!
