I recently when and got my car checked and it was supposed to be just alignment, paid diagnostic + 2000 for battery change, oil, spark plugs, 1 signal light and alignment and probably 1 little thing more. Supposed to change my tires so I asked for prices, he gave me a 30 day time limit to get new tires to have a free realignment. After 20 days he never called with tires prices and went and got my own somewhere else, now i came back for my realignment and he said that was only if i buy the tires with him. Now im supposed to pay extra because he was waiting for the 30 days to end, so could give me a price and pay again for realignment. He was being very friendly so I believed he was straight. Hope you guys be more careful then I was, but I personally never going back there. When they get a chance, they all try to take advantage.

We were driving and pulling a UHaul trailer from Texas to Georgia when the check engine light came on just before 5 pm as we were passing through New Orleans. To make matters worse it was Labor Day. Luckily S&I was open that day and until 6 pm. The owner was so kind and took pity on us. He ran a computer check of our truck engine and eventually replaced a belt. He didn’t have the belt at his garage and personally drove to a supply store to buy it. The cost for parts and labor was very reasonable. He could have justifiably charged much more for the emergency repair. Within a couple of hours we were once again headed for Georgia. Without S&I, our trip would have been delayed at least a day and we would have missed our daughter’s scheduled move in to her dorm at college. Such kindness is in very short supply nowadays and we will be forever grateful.

The guys are very friendly and knowledgeable. I brought the car in for an a/c problem. Not only did they do the repairs but, told me I needed an oil change and two front tires. They are very thorough and the price was right.

Didn't do the work on the car for the whole day. Just left it on the same spot. Had to go home and do the work on my own and I think they charge me for no work because they have said they sis something to make the car work but didn't see nothing working on it. Do not recommend it.

🛑SCAM ALERT!!!🛑 DO NOT USE THIS PLACE OR THEY WILL TAKE ALL YOUR MONEY & NOT PERFORM A SINGLE SERVICE!!! I brought my car in to have my serpentine belt changed & they charged me $950 I pulled out of their driveway & my car was still the exact same way as I brought it in. When I asked questions as to why & two tow trucks later,they couldn’t explain what they did what the cost was for any of it or how much labor was.I got a $950 bill for a serpentine belt that ended up in my truck when I left. I don’t know any reputable repair service that asks you for cash up front to fix your car a second time. SAVE YOURSELF a CIVIL LAW SUIT & DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!! 🛑TOTAL SCAMMERS!!!🛑 I’m now having to pay another reputable dealership to fix what they didn’t for $950!!! They will let you drive off in an unsafe vehicle & tell you it’s all fixed! THIEVES!!!

If there was a choice for no stars I’d definitely rate this place 0 out of 10. Our truck broke down and they charged almost $2000 for a Diagnosis on my vehicle. They didn’t mention anything about parking fees and labor fees. They rendered ZERO services to my vehicle and trapped it in so I couldn’t access it. They refused to give an invoice and just a lousy receipt with no company name. I’ll definitely be suing this money gouging “mechanic shop”

These guys are freaking awesome I damaged the front bumper of my wife's 2024 Kia telluride backing up and hitting a fire hydrant pulling off the entire front bumper and they fixed it in an hour buffed out the red paint damage and making the truck look great. These are great guys I damaged it by 8:30 in the morning and scheduled a 12pm appointment and by 1:30 I was driving down the highway completely satisfied. I truly and highly recommend these brothers. Love em thanks for the save. Plus my wife is happy. Good deal lol

Do not, I repeat DO NOT GO TO THIS SHOP. I paid over 300$ to fix my left head light. And about 5 months later, my left head light is out again while my right head light is still good and holding strong after years. I was quoted one price then after the job, the price jumped up more than $100 from what I was quoted. Now I gotta pay again for my left head light

Do not go to this rip off shop. They are after your money only. Gave them over $500 dollars and issue was not fixed. Dragging their feet to suck all the CASH they can get from you. If I could give a minus number i would awful place to take your vehicles. The IRS will be notified. They take credit cards but would take mine. Demanded cash only!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Car had high idle and ran hot. S&I charged $220 for diagnosis and said it needed $2600 head gasket job. Got the car fixed elsewhere for under $100. Actually only needed a new idle air valve. When I asked S&I for a partial refund of the misdiagnostic fee they refused. BEWARE of these ripoff artists!

Wish i could leave less than one star. Was vulnerable traveling with an overheating vehicle. Definitely didnt feel like i was a priority from the very beginning. Only accepted cash. $220 for a diagnostic, which they were way wrong about the issue. They suggested that it needed a 2500 plus repair after literally looking at it for 10 mins while being extremely busy on other junk cars. Its clear that they have clients that they patch up cars for auction for. Very messy workspace, lot full of dead cars, 1 mechanic working on all of them. I bought an $80 part and fixed the car in advanced autoparts lot. When i asked for a partial refund of their fee, i was told i could get $40 if i took down a bad review for them. RUN. Go somewhere else. Unless you want someone to ignore your car, tell you a bunch of garbage to get big money and probably not finish that job well or on time either. Alex the salesman is very nice. But that doesnt make up for their clear inability to be fair to customers in diress.

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!! Recently had our Jeep taken in whilst on a roadtrip, experiencing a hot engine and hard idle. Took it in to S&I because they were the closest option while also being open on a Sunday. They charged $220 for a diagnostic, left the car to sit and cool down for at least an hour, checked it for about five minutes and said they couldn’t tell what the issue was (stopped idling because they let it get back down to proper temp) and made my partner drive it to overheat again. Brought the car back after another 30 minutes, once again hot and idling hard. They left it to sit as they ate their lunch and missed seeing the problem once again. Made us wait another 2.5 hours just to check on it for 10 minutes, and claimed to do a smoke and water test. Came back with a quote and recommendation for $3k and needing a new head gasket. Went elsewhere for second opinion and was able to replace the problem part and issue for less than $100. When we went back to inquire about a refund for the diagnostic, we were refused and told they would give us back $40 to prevent a bad review being written - thus, here we are. Avoid S&I at all costs.

They jumped right on it and finished in less then 30 minutes and the price was fair. Roxanne called me back later with several options on a tire package which I really appreciated . Worst body shop in the area. Don’t trust these guys. They cut corners to keep money in their pocket from the insurance. The owner mustafa is a rude and dishonest person. Don’t make the same mistake I made. Be aware and stay away from them.

This place is trash. They tried to silence me once before. I took my Camaro here to get a engine replaced or rebuilt. I gave him my 3300 to start the job on November 18. 3weeks passed by I never received a phone call. I decided to stop by the shop. The shop was locked up at 1pm. So I called only to be told they lost the shop and was taking my car to Mississippi. I told him not to bring my car to Mississippi I was coming to get my money and my car. He stop answering the phone and didn't respond to my text. I made a post on the masjb Facebook page trying to get help to get my car back. So because I made that post his dad tells me he wasn't giving me my car back. This place tried to strong arm rob me. I now have my car and my money. I took my car to somewhere else now it's fix and running like a new car. Long story short. This place is no good for business at all be careful when taking your car to them. They are located in Metairie and Mississippi. They will take your money and silence you.
