They took their time answering questions and explaining what was going on and in the end, how everything was repaired and should work. The way my car runs now is like night and day. Extra shop charges added above approved estimate. If it is a cost you incur you should include it in your estimates. Poor business practice that takes away from your otherwise professionalism! Shop charges are your version of spa fees from hotels! Truely disruptive practice!

It is an amazing experience 2 have Salas Automotive repair everything with such professionalism and attention to detail. They are consistently friendly, remembering maintenance schedules and providing service at an affordable price, with the vehicle returned clean and in the best repair. On 13 Aug I returned to Salas for an expected alternator repair of my vehicle, having ruled out an esoteric battery replacement. However, with precision accuracy the alternator was determined to not be defective and the solution was an inexpensive battery replacement. Salas has constantly earned my trust in always providing the most professional and efficient repair service earning easily a five star rating.

The guys at Sallas did a great job. Subaru said we needed a new engine based on some error codes, $7000.00. I told them that the engine was running fine but they insisted that a new engine was needed. I read online that dirty oil could cause the error codes and the guys at Sallas flushed the oil system and everything has been great. Highly recommended.

I’ve brought my Jeep here a few times, and all 3 times these guys did a great job. The first visit, something I asked to be fixed was accidentally missed. When I called to bring it up, they immediately took responsibility for the communication mistake and had me bring my vehicle back in ASAP, where they fixed the issue with no problem. I really appreciated the accountability they showed and how quickly they handled it. What really stands out to me is how honest they are. I never felt pressured or scammed like I have at other shops. They were upfront, transparent, and took the time to explain everything clearly. They also offer a free ride to wherever you need to go after dropping your vehicle off, and they can even pick you up. I’ve never been to an auto shop that does that. Ross is who I worked with, and he was AMAZING. His customer service was some of the best I’ve ever experienced. They provide a fully detailed report of what needs to be fixed, clearly explaining what needs immediate attention and what can wait. Their prices are very fair as well. I was actually referred here by a Firestone manager, which says a lot. They even called today to check in and see how my vehicle has been doing. Overall, they’re an amazing shop, and I’ll definitely be coming back for any future repairs.

I needed to get two cars in for service in one day on short notice and the incredibly kind team from the Overland Park shop were able to accommodate, get what I needed done right away and at a fair price. I am a DIY wannabe mechanic, always trying to keep our family's four older cars going without breaking the bank. I was in a bind and needed professional help as one of my attempts to repair my 2008 Mazda looked like it had gone bad. The folks at Sallas were gracious, answered all my questions and gave me a few pointers before bringing it in. Once there, they all treated me like an old friend and continued to answer all my anxious questions, promptly got to work and was done by the middle of the day. As I drove the car home, I was incredibly happy with with the evaluation and work they performed. They could have easily screwed me over and milked me for thousands, but never once in the entire process did they give me any reason to question anything they said or the work they performed. The second car in that day was in for a prepurchase inspection, a possible replacement for the Mazda. I've used other presale evaluation services before and wasn't very impressed. But the evaluation process at Sallas was top notch, professional and worth every penny. Buying a used car is always a gamble. But their presales inspection and repair estimates gave me the information and leverage I needed to negotiate a much better price with the dealership. Knowing I can bring the car back to Sallas for service I can't DIY will save me hundreds over the dealership. With money tight, it is great to have friends like the folks at Sallas Auto Repair you can trust with your cars and budget. Thanks for a great experience; I'll definitely be back. I've already told a few folks to give you a call.
